This research focuses on the review of Fintech and its development on the IoT Platform and also the risks that can be posed to the IoT network used. Finance is the most essential side of several other sectors which in this case often experience many losses, one of the biggest losses is the existence of hackers and theft of money through the Internet platform or Internet Server. This research reviews how the ins and outs of the flow of funds located on servers or online banks. And ways to overcome hackers and bypass data. Comprehensively reviewed in this research review. This research discusses Cryptocurrency Analysis, Bitcoin, and Ethereum Comparison which are some of the methods used in online-based Finance, which is without currency but has the same value even more than currency if the conversion process is carried out at the bank. In this research, it is comprehensively discussed how methods are carried out in the process of securing data, Cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, and Ethereum are comprehensively discussed to get a lot of data and comparisons and the right steps to deal with crime via the internet. The predicted use of IoT in the Fintech sector is 140 billion connected devices, IoT Loans 110 billion connected devices, and IoT insurance with an estimated 90 billion connected devices, in the approaching 2026. © 2024 IEEE.

Enhancing handwritten text feature extraction through key point detection and graph representation

Handwriting typically consists of a wide range of writing forms with substantial differences in the placements and size of those writing shapes. The arrangement, organization, and spatial association of individual letters, words, and phrases on a written page are all examples of handwritten text structure. This study proposed a novel approach in which a handwritten text structure is primarily transformed into a Cartesian XY-coordinate system while maintaining its shape characteristics. The points on the contour of handwritten text with local maximum bending values are considered hypothetical breakdown points called Key Points (KPs). From the skeletal representation of handwriting, this approach first identifies KPs and their coordinate positions. After that, KPs are transformed into a graph-based representation with vertices and edges. With the use of geometric graphs, this representation attempts to capture the spatial and temporal organization of handwriting. Previous techniques focused on statistical methods, which offer fixed-size descriptions;however, graph-based representations are flexible in size and reveal the relationship between text structure. Graph representations enable the incorporation of contextual information by integrating extra features which improve text accuracy and understanding. The proposed approach is tested for writer identification and verification tasks on four benchmark datasets (CERUG-EN, CVL, Firemaker, and IAM) and one custom-built dataset. The findings demonstrated that the proposed approach obtained state-of-the-art accuracies across all the mentioned datasets. Particularly, it achieved the highest accuracy of 99.75% for identification and 99.81% for verification on the Firemaker dataset. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Climate change is considered a global disaster that has wreaked havoc worldwide. Climate change conditions are primarily driven due to emission of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. Around the globe, several countries are facing serious challenges related to global warming and climate change. The adverse effects of global warming and climate change are recently observed in the form heat waves, floods, extreme rainfall events and drought conditions. The escalating CO2 emission level causes threats of food security and water scarcity. To overcome this, timely and accurate CO2 emissions forecasting is essential for developing effective mitigation strategies in such a manner that CO2 emission impacts can be reduced. The aim of this study is to forecast the total CO2 emissions of upcoming years using various statistical, machine learning models such as ARIMA (Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average), SARIMA (Seasonal ARIMA), Linear Regression, and Decision tree regressor. We had forecasted CO2 emission on the basis of influencing factors, which highly contributes in CO2 emission. The performance of the models is validated using multiple evaluation metrics such as MAE, MSE RMSE,MAPE and R2 square. The results show that CO2 emission is highly affected by fossil fuel consumption. In particular, Linear regression performs better among all applied models, with R2 value 0.93 and MAE, RMSE and MAPE values 5.52, 6.47 and 0.03, respectively. Our research delineates the results and insights that will assist concerned authorities, policymakers and environmental agencies. The present study also aim to inform authorities, helping them to better understand the future of CO2 emission trajectories and make timely efforts and interventions to tackle the climate change and global warming challenges. © 2024 IEEE.

One of the most common cancers among women worldwide is breast cancer (BC), and early diagnosis can save lives. Early detection of BC increases the likelihood of a successful outcome by enabling treatment to start sooner. Even in areas without access to a specialist physician, machine learning (ML) aids in early BC detection. The medical imaging community is becoming more interested in using ML, and deep learning (DL) to increase the accuracy of cancer screening. Many disease-related data are sparse. However, for DL models to perform well, a large amount of data is required. Because of this, the DL models that are currently in use on medical images are not as effective as they could be. Convolutional neural network (CNN) models have recently gained popularity in the medical industry, and they perform admirably in terms of high performance and robustness at image classification. The proposed method classifies data using ensemble pre-trained models such as the dense convolutional network (DenseNet)-121 and EfficientNet-B5 feature extractor networks, as well as the support vector machine for classification. Using a modified meta-heuristic optimizer, the selected pre-trained CNN hyperparameters were optimized to improve the performance. The experimental results for the presented model on the INbreast dataset show that the EfficientNet-B5 model is effective for BC classification, with overall accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, precision, and area under the ROC curve (AUC) values of 99.9%, 99.9%, 99.8%, 99.1%, 1.0, respectively. © The Author(s) 2024.

Recovering high-quality inscription images from unknown and complex inscription noisy images is a challenging research *** fromnatural images,character images pay more attention to stroke ***,existingmodelsmainly consider pixel-level informationwhile ignoring structural information of the character,such as its edge and glyph,resulting in reconstructed images with mottled local structure and character *** solve these problems,we propose a novel generative adversarial network(GAN)framework based on an edge-guided generator and a discriminator constructed by a dual-domain U-Net framework,i.e.,*** existing frameworks,the generator introduces the edge extractionmodule,guiding it into the denoising process through the attention mechanism,which maintains the edge detail of the restored inscription ***,a dual-domain U-Net-based discriminator is proposed to learn the global and local discrepancy between the denoised and the label images in both image and morphological domains,which is helpful to blind denoising *** proposed dual-domain discriminator and generator for adversarial training can reduce local artifacts and keep the denoised character structure *** to the lack of a real-inscription image,we built the real-inscription dataset to provide an effective benchmark for studying inscription image *** experimental results show the superiority of our method both in the synthetic and real-inscription datasets.

The prevalence of large-scale dental disease in humans affects their health by making them unable to perform basic tasks with their mouth. Around 3.5 billion people worldwide are affected by dental and oral diseases, mostly in low- and middle-income countries. Due to the high cost of such a diagnosis and treatment, there are no adequate dental and oral health services. Utilizing rapid and dependable methods for early diagnosis of dental disease will be extremely beneficial in resolving this issue. An active area of research is identifying dental diseases from digital camera images. Various machine learning algorithms and the use of convolutional neural networks (CNN) have improved the accuracy of dental disease classification. A dental disease detection and classification system based on computer vision and dental disease photos will be crucial in this setting. Although a number of methods are currently used on an ad hoc basis to identify and classify dental diseases, there have been few systematic studies done to examine how well these methods work with real-world data on dental diseases. This study aim to assess the exhibitions of different CNN-based move learning structures, for example, the ResNet50V2, EfficientNetV0B0 and The Oral Disease Dataset, the Oral Infection Dataset, and the Teeth Dataset were the three publicly accessible databases on which the models were tested. Metrics performances such as, Accuracy, Review, F1 score and in general exactness were utilized to assess the end-product of the examination, which uncovered that ResNet50V2 showed the most elevated precision of 82%, 82.5% and 81.6% on the three datasets, separately, beating any remaining cutting edge models like EfficientNetV1B0 and EfficientNetV2B0. © 2024 IEEE.

Localization is crucial in wireless sensor networks for various applications,such as tracking objects in outdoor environments where GPS(Global Positioning System)or prior installed infrastructure is ***,traditional techniques involve many anchor nodes,increasing costs and reducing *** solutions do not address the selection of appropriate anchor nodes and selecting localized nodes as assistant anchor nodes for the localization process,which is a critical element in the localization ***,an inaccurate average hop distance significantly affects localization *** propose an improved DV-Hop algorithm based on anchor sets(AS-IDV-Hop)to improve the localization *** simulation analysis,we validated that the ASIDV-Hop proposed algorithm is more efficient in minimizing localization errors than existing *** ASIDV-Hop algorithm provides an efficient and cost-effective solution for localization in Wireless Sensor *** strategically selecting anchor and assistant anchor nodes and rectifying the average hop distance,AS-IDV-Hop demonstrated superior performance,achieving a mean accuracy of approximately 1.59,which represents about 25.44%,38.28%,and 73.00%improvement over other algorithms,*** estimated localization error is approximately 0.345,highlighting AS-IDV-Hop’s *** substantial reduction in localization error underscores the advantages of implementing AS-IDV-Hop,particularly in complex scenarios requiring precise node localization.

K-means algorithm is one of the well-known unsupervised machine learning algorithms. The algorithm typically finds out distinct non-overlapping clusters in which each point is assigned to a group. The minimum squared distance technique distributes each point to the nearest clusters or subgroups. One of the K-means algorithm’s main concerns is to find out the initial optimal centroids of clusters. It is the most challenging task to determine the optimum position of the initial clusters’ centroids at the very first iteration. This paper proposes an approach to find the optimal initial centroids efficiently to reduce the number of iterations and execution time. To analyze the effectiveness of our proposed method, we have utilized different real-world datasets to conduct experiments. We have first analyzed COVID-19 and patient datasets to show our proposed method’s efficiency. A synthetic dataset of 10M instances with 8 dimensions is also used to estimate the performance of the proposed algorithm. Experimental results show that our proposed method outperforms traditional kmeans++ and random centroids initialization methods regarding the computation time and the number of iterations. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2022.

Coronary heart disease is a significant global health issue that contributes to high morbidity and mortality rates, including in Indonesia. Public awareness of risk factors for heart disease is a matter that has an impact on disease burden, prevention, and timely treatment. However, public awareness of coronary heart disease and its risk factors is still low. Many individuals continue to engage in unhealthy lifestyles, lack awareness of effective preventive actions, and neglect regular heart health check-ups. To address these challenges, one of the solutions that can be made is a valuable tool for identifying individuals at risk and enabling early intervention and preventive measures. This study proposes implementing a machine learning model for the early detection of coronary heart disease using Exploration Data Analysis (EDA) and Gradient Boosting methods. Integrates EDA techniques for preprocessing data, such as finding important features and patterns, and then Gradient Boosting techniques to capture complex relationships and make accurate predictions based on a wide range of factors, such as a person's disease history, daily habits, and body characteristics. To evaluate the performance of our model, we split the dataset with an 80:20 ratio for training and testing and achieved an impressive accuracy of 91,39%. These results showed that our model could reliably predict the presence or absence of cardiac disease. With such precise forecasts, early prevention, identification, and treatment might be aided, which would ultimately reduce heart disease-related mortality and morbidity. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper details the integration of augmented reality (AR) in a new factory, focusing on enhancing maintenance efficiency and optimization. The innovative approach involves combining AR technology, an Android application, and Siemens PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller), for efficient automation. The robustness of the PLC enables seamless integration within manufacturing environments, accommodating diverse programming paradigms. The software aspect features Human Machine Interface (HMI) configuration using Siemens' WinCC software, offering dynamic visualizations, alarm handling, and data logging. WinCC's scalability suits applications of varying sizes. The HMI architecture is designed for easy parameter display. The Android application, developed with Java and Python, leverages their respective strengths in Android app development and image processing. Data exchange is facilitated by OPC-UA, supporting multiple programming languages for seamless communication. The AR Teleassistance is highlighted as a revolutionary solution, fostering real-Time communication among global experts, technicians, and operators. Beyond gaming origins, AR teleassistance enhances efficiency in various sectors, minimizing downtime and facilitating global knowledge transfer. The integration of Teleassistance promotes effective collaboration between human expertise and automated systems, crucial for optimal performance in modern industrial settings. Continuous development is suggested through the addition of more 3D mechanical drawings and real-Time stock information for parts in the application, aiming for future optimization and performance enhancement. © 2024 IEEE.
