ChatGPT, an AI-based chatbot, offers coherent and useful replies based on analysis of large volumes of data. In this article, leading academics, scientists, distinguish researchers and engineers discuss the transformative effects of ChatGPT on modern education. This research discusses ChatGPT capabilities and its use in the education sector, identifies potential concerns and challenges. Our preliminary evaluation shows that ChatGPT perform differently in different subject areas including finance, coding, maths, and general public queries. While ChatGPT has the ability to help educators by creating instructional content, offering suggestions and acting as an online educator to learners by answering questions, transforming education through smartphones and IoT gadgets, and promoting group work, there are clear drawbacks in its use, such as the possibility of producing inaccurate or false data and circumventing duplicate content (plagiarism) detectors where originality is essential. The often reported "hallucinations" within GenerativeAI in general, and also relevant for ChatGPT, can render its use of limited benefit where accuracy is essential. What ChatGPT lacks is a stochastic measure to help provide sincere and sensitive communication with its users. Academic regulations and evaluation practices used in educational institutions need to be updated, should ChatGPT be used as a tool in education. To address the transformative effects of ChatGPT on the learning environment, educating teachers and students alike about its capabilities and limitations will be crucial. © 2023 The Authors

White blood cells (WBC) or leukocytes are a vital component ofthe blood which forms the immune system, which is accountable to fightforeign elements. The WBC images can be exposed to different data analysisapproaches which categorize different kinds of WBC. Conventionally, laboratorytests are carried out to determine the kind of WBC which is erroneousand time consuming. Recently, deep learning (DL) models can be employedfor automated investigation of WBC images in short duration. Therefore,this paper introduces an Aquila Optimizer with Transfer Learning basedAutomated White Blood Cells Classification (AOTL-WBCC) technique. Thepresented AOTL-WBCC model executes data normalization and data augmentationprocess (rotation and zooming) at the initial stage. In addition,the residual network (ResNet) approach was used for feature extraction inwhich the initial hyperparameter values of the ResNet model are tuned by theuse of AO algorithm. Finally, Bayesian neural network (BNN) classificationtechnique has been implied for the identification of WBC images into distinctclasses. The experimental validation of the AOTL-WBCC methodology isperformed with the help of Kaggle dataset. The experimental results foundthat the AOTL-WBCC model has outperformed other techniques which arebased on image processing and manual feature engineering approaches underdifferent dimensions.

In this paper, we consider the Hermitian $$\{P, k + 1\}$$ -(anti-)reflexive solutions to the quaternion matrix equation $$AXB+CXD=E$$ and $$AX=E,$$ respectively. We use the complex representation method to obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of the Hermitian $$\{P, k +1\}$$ -reflexive solution (resp. Hermitian $$\{P, k +1\}$$ -anti-reflexive solution), respectively, and derive their solutions when the matrix equations have the Hermitian $$\{P, k +1\}$$ -reflexive solution (resp. Hermitian $$\{P, k +1\}$$ -anti-reflexive solution). Finally, two examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of our method.

In 1979 Fukushima developed a hierarchical, multilayered neural network called Neocognitron and used it for the automatic recognition of handwritten Japanese symbols. We combined the Neocognitron classifier with a special image and segment processor and applied the system in 2001 for automatic recognition of license plates in laboratory experiments. In this paper we report about a special image acquisition module and a postprocessor. We tested the system in real life conditions in an application of automated access control. © 2022 IEEE.

Wilga 2022 Summer Symposium on Photonics Applications and Web engineering was the 50th edition of the research and technical meetings series. Traditionally, the whole week lasting annual series of technical conferences and topical sessions was split to one winter meeting in January and two summer events in May/June, and in September 2022. The hybrid meetings were held in Wilga resort near Warsaw, owned by the Warsaw University of Technology and in Lublin. Nearly 100 participants took part in all of the Wilga 2022 events, most of them being young researchers active in all aspects of photonics, electronics and ICT science and technology. Wilga Symposium embraces hardware and software technologies associated with photonics like optics, optical engineering, optoelectronics, electronics and electrical engineering, mechatronics, chemical and material engineering, applied physics, industrial solutions and applications. Around 100 papers were presented during Wilga 2022, oral and poster. Out of this number, some papers chosen by authors are published in this volume of Proc. SPIE mostly related to photonics. The major change was that during Wilga 2020, 2021 and 2022 Symposia, during summer editions, no traditional large young researcher sessions at large were possible to be organized. © 2022 SPIE. The eye is a critical sensory organ in human physiology, and any abnormality in the eye will result in vision problems ranging from mild to severe. Image-guided methods are frequently employed to conduct clinical-level eye health assessments, and retinal fundus imaging (RFI) is among the most frequently employed modalities for eye analysis. This research aims to implement a Deep-Learning (DL)-based technique for classifying the Normal/Glaucoma RFI database. This scheme consist following phases, image collection and labelling, feature extraction with EfficientNet, feature optimization using a novel Brownian-Distribution Algorithm (BDA), and binary classification with 3-fold cross validation. Initially, the proposed approach performs the classification with EfficientNet-model features and documents the results. Subsequently, the BDA is employed to optimize the features in order to identify the most significant ones. Serial features-fusion is then implemented to generate a new features vector. The results of this study confirm that this approach is capable of achieving a 100 % accuracy rate when the BDA optimized feature vector is utilized for the classification task. In the future, this application may be utilized to analyze the RFI collected from hospital. © 2024 IEEE.

The neurological condition epilepsy is demanding and even fatal. Electroencephalogram (EEG)-based epilepsy detection still faces various difficulties. EEG readings fluctuate, and different patients have various seizure activity patterns. EEG signal detection is time-consuming and labour-intensive, which puts a strain on medical staff and raises the possibility of erroneous detections. Usually, electrodes are inserted into the scalp or inside the brain for a brief period of time in order to obtain EEG data. It is essential to research efficient cross-patient automatic epilepsy detection techniques. The multi-head self-attention mechanism recognises long-distance dependencies with the same proficiency as it does temporal dynamic correlations between short-term temporal pattern characteristics and sequential relationships. The contextual representations are inputted into a bidirectional long short-term memory network (BiLSTM) so that information can be extracted in both directions. Classification and training are carried out utilising the log SoftMax algorithm. The experiments utilised scalp EEG data from the CHB-MIT database. Sensitivity, specificity, F1-score, and accuracy were computed to be 96.5 percent, 97.04 percent, 96.6 percent, and 96.2 percent, respectively. The results of the experiment show how well the technique works for detecting seizures in several patients utilising multi-channel EEG recordings. The results also demonstrate the method's improved generalisation capabilities and resilience and consistency in collecting seizure patterns. This is particularly critical for the tertiary diagnosis of epilepsy, and the findings indicate that the proposed method significantly improves the accuracy of detection. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi networks are prone to many denial of service(DoS)attacks due to vulnerabilities at the media access control(MAC)layer of the 802.11 *** to the data transmission nature of the wireless local area network(WLAN)through radio waves,its communication is exposed to the possibility of being attacked by illegitimate ***,the security design of the wireless structure is vulnerable to versatile *** example,the attacker can imitate genuine features,rendering classificationbased methods inaccurate in differentiating between real and false *** security standards have been proposed over the last decades to overcome many wireless network attacks,effectively detecting such attacks is crucial in today’s real-world *** paper presents a novel resource exhaustion attack detection scheme(READS)to detect resource exhaustion attacks *** proposed scheme can differentiate between the genuine and fake management frames in the early stages of the attack such that access points can effectively mitigate the consequences of the *** scheme is built through learning from clustered samples using artificial neural networks to identify the genuine and rogue resource exhaustion management frames effectively and efficiently in *** proposed scheme consists of four modules whichmake it capable to alleviates the attack impact more effectively than the related *** experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed technique by gaining an 89.11%improvement compared to the existing works in terms of detection.

The increasing use of fossil fuels has a significant impact on the environment and ecosystem,which increases the rate of *** the high potential of renewable energy sources in Yemen and other Arabic countries,and the absence of similar studies in the *** study aims to examine the potential of wind energy in Mokha *** was done by analyzing and evaluating wind properties,determining available energy density,calculating wind energy extracted at different altitudes,and then computing the capacity factor for a few wind turbines and determining the *** speed was verified as the closest to the average actual wind speed using the cube root,as this was verified using 3 criteria for performance analysis methods(R^(2)=0.9984,RMSE=0.0632,COE=1.028).The wind rose scheme was used to determine the appropriate direction for directing the wind turbines,the southerly direction was appropriate,as the winds blow from this direction for 227 days per year,and the average southerly wind velocity is 5.27 m/s at an altitude of 3 *** turbine selected in this study has a tower height of 100m and a rated power of 3.45 *** capacitance factor was calculated for the three classes of wind turbines classified by the International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC)and compared,and the turbine of the first class was approved,and it is suitable for the study site,as it resists storms more than *** daily and annual capacity of a single,first-class turbine has been assessed to meet the needs of 1,447 housing units in Mokha *** amount of energy that could be supplied to each dwelling was around 19 kWh per day,which was adequate to power the basic loads in the home.
