Crowd management and analysis(CMA)systems have gained a lot of interest in the vulgarization of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)*** tracking using UAVs is among the most important services provided by a *** this paper,we studied the periodic crowd-tracking(PCT)*** consists in usingUAVs to follow-up crowds,during the life-cycle of an open crowded area(OCA).Two criteria were considered for this *** first is related to the CMA initial investment,while the second is to guarantee the quality of service(QoS).The existing works focus on very specified assumptions that are highly committed to CMAs applications *** study outlined a new binary linear programming(BLP)model to optimally solve the PCT motivated by a real-world application study taking into consideration the high level of *** closely approach different real-world contexts,we carefully defined and investigated a set of parameters related to the OCA characteristics,behaviors,and theCMAinitial infrastructure investment(e.g.,UAVs,charging stations(CSs)).In order to periodically update theUAVs/crowds andUAVs/CSs assignments,the proposed BLP was integrated into a linear algorithm called PCTs *** main objective was to study the PCT problem fromboth theoretical and numerical *** prove the PCTs solver effectiveness,we generated a diversified set of PCTs instances with different scenarios for simulation *** empirical results analysis enabled us to validate the BLPmodel and the PCTs solver,and to point out a set of new challenges for future research directions.

In recent years,wearable devices-based Human Activity Recognition(HAR)models have received significant *** developed HAR models use hand-crafted features to recognize human activities,leading to the extraction of basic *** images captured by wearable sensors contain advanced features,allowing them to be analyzed by deep learning algorithms to enhance the detection and recognition of human *** lighting and limited sensor capabilities can impact data quality,making the recognition of human actions a challenging *** unimodal-based HAR approaches are not suitable in a real-time ***,an updated HAR model is developed using multiple types of data and an advanced deep-learning ***,the required signals and sensor data are accumulated from the standard *** these signals,the wave features are *** the extracted wave features and sensor data are given as the input to recognize the human *** Adaptive Hybrid Deep Attentive Network(AHDAN)is developed by incorporating a“1D Convolutional Neural Network(1DCNN)”with a“Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU)”for the human activity recognition ***,the Enhanced Archerfish Hunting Optimizer(EAHO)is suggested to fine-tune the network parameters for enhancing the recognition *** experimental evaluation is performed on various deep learning networks and heuristic algorithms to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed HAR *** EAHO-based HAR model outperforms traditional deep learning networks with an accuracy of 95.36,95.25 for recall,95.48 for specificity,and 95.47 for precision,*** result proved that the developed model is effective in recognizing human action by taking less ***,it reduces the computation complexity and overfitting issue through using an optimization approach.

In the contemporary business landscape, software has evolved into a strategic asset crucial for organizations seeking sustainable competitive advantage. The imperative of ensuring software quality becomes evident as low-quality software systems pose formidable challenges to organizational performance. This study delves into the profound impact of three key dimensions of information system quality on organizational performance—information quality (IQ), quality of service (QoS), and software quality (SQ). Anchored in the DeLone and McLean information system (IS) success model, a quantitative questionnaire was administered to 360 industry experts and academics. Rigorous data analysis, employing exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation modeling (SEM), revealed significant positive effects of all three quality dimensions on organizational performance. Among these dimensions, software quality emerged as the most influential, showcasing substantial total effects, closely followed by information and service qualities. The study underscores the tangible value derived from strategic investments in enhancing software, information, and service quality. Elevating these facets manifests as a catalyst for improved organizational performance, empowering decision-makers with accurate and timely information while enhancing user satisfaction with the system. This research contributes significantly to the IS success literature by empirically validating the synergistic relationship between information quality, service quality, software quality, and organizational outcomes. The systematic analysis offered in this study goes beyond theoretical validation, providing actionable insights for managers. The findings guide the prioritization of quality initiatives and resource allocation, enabling organizations to maximize competitive advantage. Lung sound disease detection using attention over pre-trained efficientnet architecture

Air pollution has been on the rise for quite a while now and with it is the increasing number of cases involving respiratory diseases. These respiratory diseases range from the mild ones to the most severe ones. Therefore, we need to detect these diseases. The most efficient way of checking the health of the lung is through the use of lung sounds. But the lung sounds carry with them the minute variations that a doctor or any human sometimes misses. To tackle the same, this paper proposes a deep learning model that detects a person’s lung disease by processing lung sounds. The ICBHI 2017 dataset comprising the lung sound audios and their corresponding labels is used to train the proposed model. The dataset consists of lung sounds and some additional background noise has been removed using the bandpass Butterworth filter, whose frequency range has been set to 250Hz - 2000Hz. Later, the amount of data is multiplied through data augmentation for audio signals. The augmented data is later converted to mel spectrograms, which are, in turn, fed into the deep learning model. The model that gives the best accuracy is EfficientNet-B0 + attention with a training accuracy of 99.72%, validation accuracy of 99.82%, precision, recall and f1-scores of 99.82% as well. Furthermore, a comparison of the pre-trained model’s training and inference times has been performed. Although the proposed model takes a significant amount of training time, it takes the least amount of inference time compared to the other pre-trained models that have been tested. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Diabetes is one of the most common diseases in Jordan. It is the main reason of death among Jordanian adult citizens. Worldwide, 48% of all deaths are due to Diabetes occurred before the age of 70 years. Hence, this research is interested in the early prediction of this disease among Jordanian people. To achieve this main objective, Machine Learning (ML) is utilized through a large number of classification models and considering five well-known evaluation metrics. These classification models have been trained on a primary dataset that has been collected for the purpose of the research. The results revealed that BayesNet and NaiveBayes are the best classification models to handle the task of the early prediction of Diabetes in Jordan © 2024 IEEE.

Heart disease is one of the most common diseases in Jordan. It is a major reason of death among Jordanian adult citizens. Worldwide, an average of 56,000 people dies each day or one death every 1.5 seconds. Hence, this research is interested in the early prediction of this disease among Jordanian people. To achieve this main objective, Machine Learning (ML) is utilized through a large number of classification models and considering five well-known evaluation metrics. These classification models have been trained on a primary dataset that has been collected for the purpose of the research. The results revealed that RandomForest and RandomCommittee are the best classification models to handle the task of the early prediction of Heart disease in Jordan. © 2024 IEEE.

A key component for preserving a WSN's integrity is designing an intrusion detection system (IDS). This article covers several sorts of security threats that may occur in a WSN. It proposes a detection of malicious nodes in a WSN. This system identifies four common assaults (i.e., black hole, wormhole, gray hole, and DDoS attacks) and is based on a Base Station machine learning (ML) algorithm (BS). The suggested ML algorithm continually analyzes data patterns from each node. Based on this technique, BS recognizes the network's harmful behavior and provides notifications to neighbor nodes to prevent attacker. First, the various assaults are examined and their characteristics are derived in terms of network parameters. Furthermore, the gathered pattern trains an ML algorithm. Then, the attacker node is effectively and properly classified within the BS. The NS2 simulator simulated the needed secure WSN. The experimental findings revealed excellent accuracy of the suggested method for attack detection. This precision can enhance network performance in terms of energy usage and packet delivery (PDR). © 2021
