Coverless video steganography has emerged as a promising technique for covert communication, offering a high level of security by avoiding direct modification of media content. In this research, a proposed system is implemented for Coverless Video Steganography that leverages Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) features to securely embed secret audio information within video content without altering the cover media. This proposed method first extracts robust MFCC features from the secret audio, capturing perceptually relevant speech characteristics. These features are then mapped to semantically similar visual features within selected frames of a cover video through a CNN-based feature matching process, ensuring that the embedded information is not directly detectable. For enhanced security, the audio secret information is encrypted using RSA encryption before embedding, providing an additional layer of protection against unauthorized access. By integrating MFCC and CNN features with RSA encryption, this method effectively ensures the security and imperceptibility of secret data within the video. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves high security, strong resilience against steganalysis attacks, and effective data retrieval accuracy, marking it as a viable solution for secure, undetectable audio communication. This proposed system applied for Secure Medical Record. In this system, embeds sensitive audio medical data, such as diagnostic results or doctor’s notes, into patient video files for secure and private storage or sharing with the better security performance.

Credit cards became one of the most popular payment methods as technology advanced and e-commerce services expanded, resulting in an increase in the volume of banking transactions. Furthermore, the significant increase in the number of frauds necessitates high banking transaction costs. As a result, detecting fraudulent activities has become an intriguing topic, attracting a large number of researchers. We consider the use of class weight-tuning hyperparameters to control the weight of fraudulent and legitimate transactions in this study. We use Bayesian optimization, in particular, to optimize the hyperparameters while taking into account practical issues such as unbalanced data. We propose weight-tuning as a pre-process for unbalanced data, as well as using CatBoost and XGBoost to improve the performance of the LightGBM method by taking the voting mechanism into account. Finally, we use deep learning to fine-tune the hyperparameters, particularly our proposed weight-tuning one, in order to improve performance even further. We conducted some experiments to evaluate the proposed methods on real-world data. We use recall-precision metrics in addition to the common ROC-AUC to better cover unbalanced datasets. We use a 5-fold cross-validation method to test CatBoost, LightGBM, and XGBoost separately. Furthermore, the performance of the combined algorithms is evaluated using the majority voting ensemble learning method. According to the results, LightGBM and XGBoost achieve the best level criteria of ROC-AUC = 0.95, precision 0.79, recall 0.80, F1 score 0.79, and MCC 0.79. Also, by using deep learning and the Bayesian optimization method to tune the hyperparameters, we meet the following criteria: ROC-AUC = 0.94, precision = 0.80, recall = 0.82, F1 score = 0.81, and MCC = 0.81. Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) is a leading cause of disability globally and a major cause of suicide deaths. Improving our understanding of MDD is expected to inspire better objective diagnostic and treatment tools which may decrease the burden of disease worldwide. MDD is associated with social impairments and reward processing aberrations. However, the interaction between social cognition and reward learning in MDD is not well understood. In this work, we aim to study the effect of integrating social information with reward learning in MDD using an EEG-based machine learning approach. We recorded EEG data from subjects during their participation in a reward learning experiment in social and non-social contexts. We then extracted linear and nonlinear features from the EEG data to detect MDD using Support Vector Machine (SVM) and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) classifiers. Our results show that the data collected during social contexts achieved broadly higher classification accuracies compared to non-social contexts reaching 80% using multi-channels. Moreover, single-channel data achieved comparable and even better accuracies than multi-channels with also superior performance in social contexts reaching 85.7%. In the sub-band classification analysis, beta and alpha bands were considerably better than theta and delta bands. Surprisingly, the non-social context had the highest accuracy in the beta band while the social context had the highest accuracy in the alpha band. The results were consistent when using single features compared to combining the features. These findings show the notable role of social information with reward processing in advancing our understanding of MDD and its subtypes which can guide the improvement of diagnostic and personalized treatment tools. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In this study, we developed 'SACMR: Sentiment Analysis in Chinese Language using Modified RoBERTa', a modified model focusing on Chinese sentiment analysis. To address the deficiencies in the sentiment analysis of existing Chinese LLMs (large language models), we employed the RoBERTa-wwm-ext model for sentiment analysis in Chinese text, which is specifically pre-trained for Chinese and fine-tuned for sentiment detection. Experiments were conducted on the Chinese portion of the multilingual-sentiment-datasets, with random splitting into training, validation, and testing sets in an 8:1:1 ratio. We also compared our approach with a random forest classifier and a DistilBERT model designed for sentiment analysis. The experimental results indicate that SACMR outperformed other methods in terms of accuracy and F1 scores by up to 25% and 39% respectively, highlighting the importance of pre-training and fine-tuning specifically for the Chinese context. © 2024 IEEE.

In the context of Intelligent Transportation systems (ITS), the role of vehicle detection and classification is indispensable for streamlining transportation management, refining traffic control, and conducting in-depth accident analyses. However, the intricate task of accurately detecting multi-oriented vehicles in diverse scenarios remains a challenge, even with the advancements in ITS. Factors such as vehicle morphology, design, road conditions, structural details, and climatic variables provide a significant part in the detection. To address this, our study introduces an advanced YOLOv8n model, specifically the YOLOv8n-CGW, which is built upon pre-trained deep learning frameworks. This model is meticulously tailored to enhance the detection capabilities for multi-oriented vehicles. Comprehensive evaluations on esteemed datasets like MtV, MERGED, Custom dataset, DAWN, WEDGE, and UA-DETRAC underscore the superiority of our approach over existing models. Notably, our YOLOv8n-CGW model achieves a remarkable mAP of 83.3% and boasts a swift inference time of 0.0019s, setting a new benchmark in the domain. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

This justifies the feature of blockchain in decision-making where companies predominantly use data processing and managing methods or have intricate supply chains demanding authenticity and relying on blockchain technology. This study is motivated by increasing convolutions and demands for secure speedy supply chain system as it is important in nurturing trustworthiness and accountability during commercial transactions, so it focuses on showing why current supply chain authentication methods are inefficient and unreliable leading to potential frauds and mistrust. This research starts by reviewing existing supply chain authentication methods and their shortcomings. The Basics of Blockchain refer to How Decentralized and Secure it really is, explaining what blockchain technology is. This blog post discusses how blockchain can be used to enhance decision-making processes, providing an unchangeable, auditable way to keep track of and authenticate the supply chain, and briefly covers various use cases of blockchain in supply chains and explains how they are transforming the security and efficiency of operations. The objective of this study is to suggest a structure that combines blockchain and machine learning for better supply chain decisions and authentication systems. It makes use of decentralized system architecture from methodological point of view by which the immutability aspect of blockchain and machine learning analytics can be integrated together in forecasting of demand while at the same time ensuring safety for transactions. Overall, blockchain technology enables significant disruption in supply chain authentication by helping partner systems and organizations make better decisions and reinforcing security requirements between partners. As the primary cause of death globally, cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) demand precise and timely prediction to enhance patient outcomes. Other examples of conventional approaches for CVD prediction include statistical models as well as machine learning models such as a single model that often struggle to address complex and comprehensive data from clinical records and Medical Imaging. To address these issues, the concept proposed here is to integrate the medical imaging data with clinical data as new apart from utilizing the hybrid CNN-GRU model to predict cardiovascular diseases with higher accuracy and interpretability. While the GRU module deals with the time sequences of clinical data including past history and other test results, the CNN module is to extract the spatial features from the medical images. Thus, by integrating these modules, it is more accurate to predict the data of the patient as a synergy of spatial and temporal arrangements. Cross-validation techniques and performance indices are used for model training and testing on a diverse data set containing imaging and other clinical-related data. Experimental results depict that the suggested hybrid CNN-GRU model performs much better than the traditional approaches and has higher levels of predicted accuracy and robustness. It is also feasible to generalize this integrated strategy to other medical disorder where multi-modal data analysis is crucial, besides enhancing the capacity to estimate CVDs. The findings underline the importance of integrating doctors' information with radiological images and applying new patterns of neural networks to augmenting clinical judgment. The suggested work is implemented using python. © 2024 IEEE.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk assessment and prognosis in otherwise healthy people is an important part of disease management. Early detection and diagnosis of CVD, supported by the extensive health data on the condition already stored in hospital systems, has the ability to greatly improve disease outcomes. Clinical practice for the management of Cardiovascular Diseases (CVDs) stands to benefit greatly from the use of machine learning approaches. Patients and the healthcare system can save money thanks to these methods, which can be used to create evidence-based clinical guidelines and management algorithms. This will cut down on expensive and time-consuming clinical and laboratory examinations. This study suggests creating new deep learning algorithms that can automatically identify important variables and detect early-stage heart disease;these algorithms should be resilient, effective, efficient, and unique in order to improve early anticipation and interference for CVDs. An F1-score of around 89% is produced by the suggested Catboost model. Hence, it outperformed numerous other state-of-the-art methods by maximizing classification efficiency with better correctness and precision. © 2024 IEEE.
