The problem of color image restoration is investigated in this paper. The framelet-based color regularization term is proposed to preserve the edges of restored images and attenuate the false color for human visual system. A fast iterative shrinkage algorithm is applied to tackle the proposed non-smooth restored model by thresholding the framelet coefficients. Numerical examples demonstrate that our fast framelet-based approach is effective to attain the good results with higher PSNR values, lower S-CIELAB errors and less consuming times.

Multimedia is one of the most important aspects of the information era. With the advent of the multimedia age and the spread of Internet, video storage and streaming has been gaining a lot of popularity. When transmitting compressed video over a data network channel errors affect the decoding process. Video transmission puts constraints on data rate, computational complexity and delay. Unreliable channels add more challenges to this task as compressed video is extremely vulnerable to transmission errors. Problems arising from imperfect transmission of block coded video frame sequence result in lost blocks. This paper presents and implements a set of decoder side spatio-temporal algorithms that aim to enhance the speed and quality of the error concealment process. The results obtained by these algorithms are much faster and achieve better performance compared to the existing algorithms, which make them more suitable for real-time applications.

This paper is focused on a comparison between Model-Free control and Active Disturbance Rejection control methods. These two techniques do not require a detailed mathematical description of the system, since they base on the on-line estimation and rejection of the unmodeled elements of the dynamics. Robustness of the closed-loop control system (against external perturbation) and its relation to energy consumption is discussed here. A model of a planar manipulator is used in the conducted case study as an exemplary plant. Conclusions are supported with results obtained with numerical simulations.

This paper presents a novel design for high performance positioning stage, an representative application of such positioning stage is in semi conductor packing process, whose requirements are high precision and high acceleration. However, with the increase of motion acceleration(>10g), the traditional linear stage with fixed stator structure can't suppress the base vibration caused by reactive force, then the stage accuracy decreases seriously. In this design, a floating stator structure for linear stage is proposed. The main goal is to reduce the effect of the reaction force on the stage from accelerating the mover. For the optimal structure variables, the model of single axis stage with floating stator is first developed. Then three application requirements are converted to performance indices, by taking the mechanical structure variables as optimal variable, optimization problem is formulated and solved by using Differential Evolution method. The performance of proposed structure is verified by simulations. Then a prototype of 2-DOF linear stage with floating stator is constructed, the concerned performance of high acceleration, high accuracy and low vibration is validated by numerous experiments.

In the article a therapy selection method by using topological modelling and multi- objective optimization is presented. In a medicine practice a doctor by taking into the count patients' health state and laboratory results, tries to suggest a treatment strategy, which mostly is a drug therapy. To solve this task a decision support system has been developed and proposed. The system includes a mathematical model of three self connected diseases. Therapies are evaluated by five efficiency objectives. To find the optimal therapy, seven multi- objective methods are selected and used. Optimization methods form decision support module which is implemented in the medical computer system. To evaluate a performance of the system, test examples are analysed. Conclusion includes the summary and proposals of further research.

Cloud Computing is not a revolution;it's an evolution of computerscience and technology emerging by leaps and bounds, in order to merge all computerscience tools and technologies. Cloud Computing technology is hottest to do research and explore new horizons of next generations of computerscience. There are number of cloud services providers(Amazon EC2), Rackspace Cloud, Terremark and Google Compute Engine) but still enterprises and common users have a number of concerns over cloud service providers. Still there is lot of weakness, challenges and issues are barrier for cloud service providers in order to provide cloud services according to SLA(Service Level agreement). Especially, service provisioning according to SLAs is core objective of each cloud service provider with maximum performance as per SLA. We have identified those challenges issues, as well as proposed new methodology as "SLA(Service Level Agreement) Driven Orchestration Based New Methodology for Cloud Computing Services". Currently, cloud service providers are using "orchestrations" fully or partially to automate service provisioning but we are trying to integrate and drive orchestration flows from SLAs. It would be new approach to provision cloud service and deliver cloud service as per SLA, satisfying Qo S standards.
