This work presents the results of the examination of the HeLa cell line exposure on the ELF-EMF (extremely low-frequency electromagnetic field). In particular, the relationship between ELF-EMF exposition time and cell death. The examination of cell death hallmarks were examined by estimation levels of selected proteins - FACL4 (a protein that is a part of the ferroptosis pathway) and CK18 (Cytokeratin related to necrosis and apoptosis pathways) in the proposed model of workers exposed to ELF-EMF week.

Integral Reinforcement Learning-Based Angular Acceleration Autopilot for High Dynamic Flight Vehicles

In the synthesis of acceleration autopilot for high dynamic flight vehicle (HDFV), the full perception of system states, such as the angle of attack, is usually unavailable. Autopilots with feedback of angular acceleration (AFAA) have become more perspective for HDFV with stringent requirements on response speed and high maneuverability, compared with autopilot with feedback of angular rate (AFAR). Although classical optimal control methodology has validated its great vitality during the synthesis of autopilots both in theory and practice while this approach requires complete knowledge of the system dynamics. Reinforcement learning (RL) method has now proved to be an effective technique for adaptive optimal control of partially unknown nonlinear systems. In this paper, a novel data-driven integral RL algorithm with feedback of angular acceleration was proposed for the synthesis of HDFV’s autopilot. And numerical simulation was carried out to validate the effectiveness of proposed online integral RL-based angular acceleration autopilot for HDFVs. Besides, the tracking performance under different wave commands, the robustness against parameter uncertainties and the noise attenuation capacity between classical optimal tracking approach and proposed integral RL method were analyzed for AFAR and AFAA, respectively. Simulation results showed, angular acceleration autopilot with proposed integral RL algorithm possessed better tracking performance against various disturbances. © 2023, The Authors. The paper presents a study on the performance of system of monitoring the activity of a person in the office. Energy communities are emerging entities which need their own Information and Communication System. Resilience is a key metric of such communities, and it has to be implemented for both energy supply versus public network outages and for its information system versus cyber-attacks, acting as cyber-citadels which have to resist external malicious attacks while having also digital interactions with external entities. The paper presents solutions for a resilient energy community with appropriate implementations of digital interaction for data exchange, in order to acquire external energy service for specialized companies and to deliver also information and communication-related services for external users. Principles of a Contractual Data Protection Regulation are presented, as an adaptation of data protection tailored for automated energy services and based on secure data exchange. The principles are verified in a demonstration project which has also external entities with digital interaction. © 20XX IEEE.

This paper mainly discusses two kinds of coupled reaction-diffusion neural networks (CRNN) under topology attacks, that is, the cases with multistate couplings and with multiple spatial-diffusion couplings. On one hand, by adopting state feedback control scheme, the problem of the lag synchronization for the multistate coupled CRNN is addressed. Moreover, the influences of external disturbances for the lag synchronization of the CRNN with multistate couplings are also taken into consideration. On the other hand, several lag and lag H∞ synchronization conditions for CRNN with multiple spatial-diffusion couplings are derived under the help of the Kronecker product and the state feedback control method. Finally, two numerical examples are provided to verify the correctness of the derived criteria. © 2014 IEEE.

In this paper, the problem of fault estimation and localization in the connecting dynamic elements of distributed heating and cooling systems are treated. The fault represents the physical parameter change related to the heat transfer between the system and the external environment. First, based on the bi-linear dynamic state space model of the system in the presence of a fault, structural observability analysis using Signed Directed Graph (SDG) has been performed to investigate the sensor placement problem. Then, a nonlinear observer with a parameter adaptation algorithm was proposed for fault estimation. The simulation results show that it can successfully detect and estimate the fault. Fault localization along the length of the element has also been attempted, but it has been found that the localization cannot be performed using practically changeable input variables. Frequency domain analysis is presented to discuss this phenomenon.

This paper presents an application of a mixture of Hidden Markov Models (HMMs) as a tool for verification of IoT fuel sensors. The IoT fuel sensors report the level of fuel in tanks of a petrol station, and are a key component for monitoring system reliability (billing), safety (fuel/oil leak detection) and security (theft prevention). We propose an algorithm for learning a mixture of HMMs based on a continual learning principle, i.e. it adapts the model while monitoring a sensor over time, signalling unexpected or anomalous sensor reports. We have tested the proposed approach on a real-life data of 15 fuel tanks being monitored with the FuelPrime system, where it has shown a very good performance (average area under ROC curve of 0.94) of detecting anomalies in the sensor data. Additionally we show that the proposed method can be used for trend monitoring and present qualitative analysis of the short and long term learning performance. The proposed method has promising performance score, the resulting model has a high degree of explainability, limited memory and computation requirements and can be easily generalized to other domains of sensor verification. © 2023 Polish Information Processing Society.

This study proposes a method that can easily grasp the relationship between the actual machine and the graphs. In recent years, there has been a lot of research on augmented reality displays. The fields of research range from education to welfare. In the development of control systems, when evaluating the performance of a system by simulation or experiment, the results are often checked as graphs. Since the graphs are checked on a PC using CAD or other means, it is difficult to know which part of the actual machine each graph corresponds to. Therefore, we developed a tool that displays graphs in augmented reality around the actual machine through a camera on a mobile terminal. To display graphs in augmented reality, it is important to obtain the coordinates of the actual machine and display them in a location associated with the device. Therefore, a USD model with the same shape and size as the actual machine is used. This is achieved by displaying the USD model in augmented reality so that it is superimposed on the actual machine. The accuracy of the tool was also examined and its usefulness was evaluated.

In this article, we consider the time-optimal motion control of a tracked mobile robot in the presence of state constraints. The complexity of the problem statement is due to a steady vector flow field in which the motion is takes place. The difficulty of the considered model is also compounded with the non-regularity of the dynamics with respect to the state constraints. A method for regularisation is proposed. Such a method involves a certain construction of a regular (in the needed sense) ε-perturbation of the original problem.
