Supervised Classification (SML) is the pursuit of systems that reasoning from externally given instances to generate broad hypotheses, which subsequently generate predictions for future instances. One of the jobs performed by intelligent systems most commonly is supervised classification. Based on the data set, number of occurrences and variables in this study, the most efficient classification algorithm is selected. It is comprehensively described and contrasted with various supervised learning methods. Seven distinct machine learning algorithms were taken into consideration utilizing the Waikato Environment for data Analysis (WEDA) machine learning tool. For the identification process, the data set was used with 780 instances, eight independent variables (quality), and one dependent variable (variable). According to the data, SVM was the technique with the highest degree of precision and accuracy. Accordingly, the next accurate classification algorithms after SVM were determined to be Naive Bayes and Random Forest. The study demonstrates that precision (accuracy) and model construction time are two factors, whereas kappa statistics and mean error percentage (MAE) are two other factors. Therefore, controlled predictive machine learning requires precision, accuracy, and minimal error in ML algorithms. © 2023 IEEE.

As Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystems grow more complex, ensuring real-time security has become a major challenge. Traditional security approaches are insufficient for handling dynamic and interconnected IoT networks, which are increasingly targeted by sophisticated cyber-attacks. To address these issues, new methodologies that combine real-time monitoring and adaptive security mechanisms are needed. Cyber Twin technology, an innovative extension of digital twin technology, presents a promising solution by creating AI-driven digital replicas of IoT devices and software systems for continuous security monitoring and management. This paper introduces a Cyber Twin Technology Framework for AI-driven real-time software security in IoT ecosystems. The framework employs advanced AI models, including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for anomaly detection and Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) for synthetic data generation to simulate potential attack scenarios. A dynamic reinforcement learning module is integrated to optimize threat response strategies based on evolving threat patterns. By creating real-time digital replicas of IoT components, the Cyber Twin framework continuously monitors device behaviors, identifies anomalies, and autonomously initiates mitigation actions. The system is evaluated in a simulated IoT environment with over 500 interconnected devices. Experimental results demonstrate that the Cyber Twin framework achieved a 99.2% detection accuracy in identifying cyber threats, with a false positive rate of 1.3%. The dynamic response module reduced incident response time by 35% compared to traditional methods, enhancing the system's ability to neutralize potential threats in real-time. The use of GAN-based synthetic data also enabled proactive defense strategies, reducing attack success rates by 40% during testing. A vehicle engine cooling system is of utmost importance to ensure that the engine operates in a safe temperature *** most radiators that are used to cool an engine,water serves as a cooling *** performance of a radiator in terms of heat transmission is significantly influenced by the incorporation of nanoparticles into the cooling *** and uniformity of nanoparticle distribution are the two major factors for the practical use of *** shape and size of nanoparticles also have a great impact on the performance of heat *** researchers are investigating the impact of nanoparticles on heat *** study aims to develop an artificial neural network(ANN)model for predicting the thermal conductivity of an ethylene glycol(EG)/waterbased crystalline nanocellulose(CNC)nanofluid for cooling internal combustion *** implementation of an artificial neural network considering different activation functions in the hidden layer is made to find the bestmodel for the cooling of an engine using the *** of the model with different activation functions in artificial neural networks are analyzed for different nanofluid concentrations and *** artificial neural networks,Levenberg–Marquardt is an optimization approach used with activation functions,including Tansig and Logsig functions in the training *** findings of each training,testing,and validation phase are presented to demonstrate the network that provides the highest level of *** best result was obtained with Tansig,which has a correlation of 0.99903 and an error of 3.7959×10^(–8).It has also been noticed that the Logsig function can also be a good model due to its correlation of 0.99890 and an error of 4.9218×10^(–8).Thus ourANNwith Tansig and Logsig functions demonstrates a high correlation between the actual output and the predicted output.

In this paper, we propose a robust approach for early detection of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) using advanced cepstral speech features, fused to capture diverse acoustic signatures. The Mann-Whitney U-test is employed to filter out non-informative features, improving real-world applicability and reducing overfitting. We systematically compare Random Forest, Decision Tree, and Support Vector Machine classifiers, achieving an accuracy of 85.6% using only the most significant features, drawn from MFCCs, GTCCs, LPCCs, and others. The method addresses data sparsity challenges in clinical research by favoring domain-relevant indicators while maintaining computational feasibility. The results confirm that subtle vocal cues, captured using affordable devices, are promising biomarkers for AD screening, especially in resourcelimited or telehealth environments. By highlighting both practical implementation and scalability, our study contributes to the development of efficient, non-invasive diagnostic protocols. This, in turn, supports earlier intervention and improved patient outcomes. The framework thus paves the way for future multimodal expansions.

In an increasingly data-driven world, the ability to understand, interpret, and use data - data literacy - is emerging as a critical competence across all academic disciplines. The data Literacy Initiative (DaLI) at TH Köln addresses this need by developing a comprehensive competence model for promoting data literacy in higher education. Based on interdisciplinary collaboration and empirical research, the DaLI model defines seven overarching competence areas: "Establish data Culture", "Provide data", "Manage data", "Analyze data", "Evaluate data", "Interpret data", and "Publish data". Each area is further detailed by specific competence dimensions and progression levels, providing a structured framework for curriculum design, teaching, and assessment. Intended for use across disciplines, the model supports the strategic integration of data literacy into university programs. By providing a common language and orientation for educators and institutions, the DaLI model contributes to the broader goal of preparing students to navigate and shape a data-informed society. © 2025, CC BY-NC-SA.

Leukemia, a severe form of blood cancer, claims thousands of lives each year. This study focuses on the detection of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) using advanced image processing and deep learning techniques. By leveraging recent advancements in artificial intelligence, the research evaluates the reliability of these methods in practical, real-world scenarios. Specifically, it examines the performance of state-of-the-art YOLO models, including YOLOv8 and YOLOv11, to distinguish between malignant and benign white blood cells and accurately identify different stages of ALL, including early stages. Moreover, the models demonstrate the ability to detect hematogones, which are frequently misclassified as ALL. With accuracy rates reaching 98.8%, this study highlights the potential of these algorithms to provide robust and precise leukemia detection across diverse datasets and conditions. © 2024, CC0.

Shoplifting presents a significant challenge for retailers, leading to substantial financial losses and security concerns. Current surveillance systems effectively identify shoplifting incidents postoccurrence;however, the capability to detect and prevent such activities preemptively remains limited. This research focuses on identifying behaviors that likely precede shoplifting events. To this end, we introduce a novel benchmark dataset, specifically designed for the early detection of suspicious behavior that may lead to shoplifting. This dataset is curated by selecting and segmenting relevant sequences from the UCF101-Crime dataset, encompassing suspicious behavior, actual shoplifting incidents, and normal activities. Our approach addresses the limitations of existing datasets where the brief duration of shoplifting events may skew neural network performance. The dataset includes clips of only a few seconds each, for which we propose a robust neural network architecture combining the strengths of convolutional neural networks (CNN) for efficient feature extraction and Bidirectional long short-term memory (BiLSTM) networks for capturing temporal dependencies within action sequences. Our model achieves an impressive classification accuracy of 86.21 % on the newly created dataset. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper examines several widespread assumptions about artificial intelligence, particularly machine learning, that are often taken as factual premises in discussions on the future of patent law in the wake of 'artificial ingenuity'. The objective is to draw a more realistic and nuanced picture of the human-computer interaction in solving technical problems than where 'intelligent' systems autonomously yield inventions. A detailed technical perspective is presented for each assumption, followed by a discussion of pertinent uncertainties for patent law. An accurate predictive model of temperature and humidity plays a vital role in many industrial processes that utilize a closed space such as in agriculture and building management. With the exceptional performance of deep learning on time-series data, developing a predictive temperature and humidity model with deep learning is propitious. In this study, we demonstrated that deep learning models with multivariate time-series data produce remarkable performance for temperature and relative humidity prediction in a closed space. In detail, all deep learning models that we developed in this study achieve almost perfect performance with an R value over 0.99. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
