Over the past few years, the rapid growth of financial services and changes in customer requirements have laid the groundwork for digital channel expansion. Omnichannel is an approach that assists banks to collect customer information based on their activities in different channels and provides an integrated and unified customer experience. Currently, most banking services are developed without a sufficient understanding of customer experiences and activities, and each channel is considered separately. BIAN is a service-oriented enterprise architecture framework specified for the banking industry, the main element of which is service domains. Each service domain is a specific area of business, the combination of these service domains covers different banking business scenarios. This paper proposes a model that uses Omnichannel in the banking industry based on the BIAN framework. The proposed model use BIAN business domains to provide an integrated and optimal interaction between different banking channels in order to improve the customer experience, improve customer retention rates, upgrade the quality of banking services and profitability by analyzing customer behavior, marketing and forecasting needs. In order to explain the application of the proposed model and evaluate its executive validity, the business scenario of opening a current account is considered. © 2021 IEEE.

This paper focuses on numerical calculations of inductive links in wireless power transfer (WPT) systems for medical applications considering body tissue properties. The proposed research provides finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate the impact of transmission media on the electrodynamics of wireless power transfer systems in biomedical devices. Due to the importance of human health in presence of implantable medical devices and the safety issues, optimal coil design would be crucial. Moreover, knowing the exact values of the equivalent circuit of the inductive link is a major challenge in WPT system design. Also, it is observed that numerical solutions based on electrostatics equations are not sufficient even at few-megahertz applications. In this paper, the design procedure and finite element method results are prepared to propose a comprehension of coil design in wirelessly powered implantable medical devices. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper recommends a new design for quadratic boost converters that includes the following features: (i) the continuous input current has made it suitable for renewable applications and decreased the value of the capacitors in the input filter;(ii) the topology is simple, and consists of a few numbers of components;(iii) in comparison with the cascaded boost and quadratic boost with voltage multiplier cell (VMC), it has a better behavior of voltage gain in the non-ideal mode and higher efficiency;(iv) the semiconductor-based components have lower current/voltage stresses in comparison with the recently recommended designs;(v) 94.5 percent from the theoretical relations and 92 percent from the experimental for the output power of120 W, the duty of 50 percent, and output voltage of 120 V are the efficiency values. The recommended topology has been studied in both ideal and non-ideal modes. The continuous current mode (CCM) is the suggested mode for the proposed converter. Moreover, the requirements of CCM and DCM have been discussed. The various kinds of comparisons have been held for voltage gain, efficiency, and structural details, and the advantages of the suggested design have been presented. A small-signal analysis has been done, and the appropriate compensator has been designed. Finally, PLECS simulation results have been compared with the design considerations. © 2022 IEEE.

The significance of the existing analysis methods in complex networks and easy access to the ever-increasing volume of information present the emergence of proposing new methods in various fields based on complex system ideas. However, these systems are usually faced with various random failures and intelligent attacks. Due to the nature of the components’ behaviors, the occurrence of the failures and faults in their operations and the alteration of their topologies are the most important problems. Since the complex systems are usually used as the infrastructures of other networks, their robustness against failures and the adoption of suitable precautions are necessary. Moreover, the smallworld effect in most complex systems is one of the crucial structural features. The authors found that the relation between these two is not well-known and may even be in conflict in some networks. The main goal in this paper is to achieve an optimal topology by utilizing a robustness-oriented multiobjective trade-off optimization model(edge rewiring) to establish a peaceful relationship between the two requirements. By offering a proposed rewiring method with the small-world effect, which is called core-periphery Windmill property, the authors demonstrated that the generated networks are able to exhibit appropriate robustness even during intelligent attacks. The results obtained in terms of Windmill graphs are presented very good approximations to demonstrate the small-world effect. These graphs are used as the initial core in the construction of the optimized networks’ topologies.

An accurate understanding of a self-driving vehicle’s surrounding environment is crucial for its navigation system. To enhance the effectiveness of existing algorithms and facilitate further research, it is essential to provide comprehensive data to the routing system. Traditional approaches rely on installing multiple sensors to simulate the environment, leading to high costs and complexity. In this paper, we propose an alternative solution by generating a top-down representation of the scene, enabling the extraction of distances and directions of other cars relative to the ego vehicle. We introduce a new synthesized dataset that offers extensive information about the ego vehicle and its environment in each frame, providing valuable resources for similar downstream tasks. Additionally, we present an architecture that transforms perspective view RGB images into bird’s-eye-view maps with segmented surrounding vehicles. This approach offers an efficient and cost-effective method for capturing crucial environmental information for self-driving cars. 1 © 2023, CC BY.

This paper deals with the preparation of a universal phone decoder and using it to build a speech-based Persian wake word detection system. First, two sets of spoken data in Persian are used to adjust the symbols and fine-tune the parameters of the phone decoder, which is named Allosaurus, until a wake word detection system with high accuracy is obtained. During this process, a slightly modified version of the Levenshtein Distance algorithm is used to calculate a confidence score for the system output decision. After the initial wake word detector is ready, the values used for calculating the Levenshtein Distance and their weights are optimized in order to achieve the highest possible accuracy. In the end, this work focuses on also maximizing the accuracy of noisy speech signal inputs, which is something that hasn’t been done in previous works.

A Statistical P2P Botnet Detection Resilient to Mimicry Attacks

Botnet technology has continued to evolve rapidly, making detection a very challenging problem. P2P botnets are more dangerous and resistant than all emerged botnets due to their distributed architecture. The most proposed P2P botnet detection schemes are designed, relying on the statistical behavior of bots. However, considering the adversarial nature of the botnet detection problem, the bots can be designed to mimic normal behavior and fly under the radar. Thereupon, designing a P2P botnet detection system resilient to the mimicry attack is paramount. In this paper, we implement a mimicry P2P botnet to investigate the resiliency of existing P2P botnet detection schemes. Furthermore, a statistical feature set is proposed to leverage botnets’ inherent properties. Our experimental results showed that the proposed feature set is resilient to mimicry attacks and can detect P2P bots with high accuracy. © 2022. International Journal of Network *** Rights Reserved

The main priority of the e-government is to enhance service provision to citizens. Thus, the governments first focus on providing online and smart services and sorting them such that all user requirements are covered with a user-oriented approach that changes the paradigm from administrative to service-oriented government. Thus, governments can achieve faster, cheaper, and more accessible services by making their internal services electronic and providing services via a single window system. In such a platform, the citizens can achieve their services of interest electronically without being present in the Executive Departments. In this study, a reference architecture is presented to develop the single window system of the Executive Department. The purpose of the reference architecture is to present an instructive framework for developing the single window system by specifying the operations and interfaces that these systems should provide. © 2021 IEEE.

Wind speed (WS) has played a vital role in local urban and sub-urban weather, agriculture, and ecosystem. Several meteorological parameters are influencing WS such as relative humidity (at 2 m, %), surface pressure (kPa), maximum temperature (at 2 m, °C), minimum temperature (at 2 m, °C), average temperature (at 2 m, °C), and all sky insolation incident on a horizontal surface (kW-h/m2/day). The current research was conducted to predict WS at different locations at Vietnam using the feasibility of computer aid models (i.e., multivariate adaptive regression splines (MARS), extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost) and random forest generator (Ranger)). Pearson correlation (PC) was investigated to select the high significant predictors to predict the WS at 10 m high. All inputs (maximum number, 6) are chosen by the PC approach for PhuongNinh, DaNang, and HaNoi;and for minimum number of inputs i.e four, are selected for PhuongHung, CanTho, and SaPa city;that exhibit the relationship with WS, citywise. The sequence selection of input parameters differed in each station as per the PC analysis. Based on the statistical evaluation and graphical presentation, MARS model attained the best prediction results, followed by XGBoost and Ranger. MARS predictive model remains at the top performance among others based on 95% confidence interval. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2024.

Cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging is a radiation-free modality widely used for functional and structural evaluation of the cardiovascular system. Achieving an accurate diagnosis requires having good-quality images. Subjective CMR image quality assessment is a tedious, time-consuming and costly process. This paper presents an automated scoring framework for CMR image quality assessment that uses deep learning models to evaluate left ventricular coverage and CMR imaging artefacts. The quality scoring in the proposed framework is an attempt to automate some of the subjective quality control criteria of the EuroCMR registry for the short-axis cine steady-state free precession (SSFP) CMR images. The scores given by a radiologist and a cardiologist with experience in CMR imaging for the images of 50 subjects from the UK Biobank were used to validate the proposed framework. The Pearson correlation coefficient (PCC) and the Spearman rank-order correlation coefficient (SRCC) calculated for the experts’ quality scores versus ones obtained from the proposed framework are 0.908 and 0.806 on average. The results show that the quality scoring by the proposed framework is highly correlated with the experts’ opinions. The proposed framework can be used for post-imaging quality assessment of short-axis cine SSFP CMR images and quality control of large population studies such as the UK Biobank.
