The development of digital payment technology, such as Gopay, has provided convenience for the Indonesian public. To understand user satisfaction and identify key issues, this study analyzes Gopay user reviews using a hybrid approach. The main issues addressed are the imbalance in review data and the lack of studies integrating Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models for topic analysis. This research encompasses three main stages: topic identification using LDA, data balancing with Random Over Sampling and Neighborhood Cleaning Rule (ROS-NCL), and topic classification using CNN. The model is designed to accurately identify and classify key topics. Furthermore, this method is compared with other approaches to assess its advantages. The research findings show that this hybrid approach is effective in addressing data imbalance, achieving a topic classification accuracy of 96%. These findings provide valuable insights for service providers to improve the quality of Gopay services based on topic analysis derived from user feedback. © 2025 IEEE.

Breast Cancer (BC) remains a significant health challenge for women and is one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide. Accurate diagnosis is critical for successful therapy and increased survival rates. Recent advances in medical imaging and computational technologies have enabled more precise methods of detecting and evaluating breast cancer. Accurate analysis and diagnosis utilizing medical imaging have developed as essential research topics, providing important help in clinical decision-making for various illnesses, including breast cancer. Machine learning (ML) can accurately predict breast cancer. But the breast cancer data has vague and uncertainty information. So, the neutrosophic sets (NSs) are used in this study to deal with uncertainty data. We convert the original dataset into neutrosophic data with three components such as truth, indeterminacy, and falsity values. Then we applied four ML models with N-data such as logistic regression, gradient boosting (GB), k-nearest neighbor (KNN), and support vector machines (SVM), to improve diagnostic accuracy. Then we compared the ML models with and without using N-data. The results show the logistic regression has higher accuracy with 98.6% with the N-data and 95.80% without N-data. In this work, a novel methodological approach to multi-attribute decision-making problems is developed and the notion of Heptapartitioned Neutrosophic Set Distance Measures (HNSDM) is introduced. By averaging the Penta-Partitioned Neutrosophic Distance Measures under particular conditional criteria, the suggested technique ranks the options. Additionally, we explore the fundamental characteristics of HNSDM and provide several illustrative theorems. The Heptapartitioned Neutrosophic Set Distance Measures are formulated based on the Hepta Neutrosophic Set. Lastly, a practical numerical example is provided to illustrate the efficacy of the suggested methodology. © 2025, University of New Mexico. All rights reserved.

Decentralized multi-agent federated and reinforcement learning for smart water management and disaster response

Water resource management and disaster response have become some of the most challenging tasks, especially when disasters pose a threat, as delays could lead to more impacts. The centralized system used for water dynamics and disaster control usually presents itself as a scalability problem since more clients present a problem, the system's latency is high, and the system is always prone to a single-point failure. The previous approach lacks flexibility and does not synchronously guarantee the integration of several subjects in real time, especially during unpredictable disaster conditions. The proposed FL-MAPPO model surpasses current methods by facilitating decentralized, privacy-protecting decision-making minimizing latency and single-point failures. In contrast to LSTM, Bi-LSTM, and DRNN, which are based on centralized data processing, FL-MAPPO provides real-time adaptability and effective resource management. Experimental results validate that it has lower MSE, higher R² scores, and quicker response times, making it better suited for flood prediction and disaster response. To this end, this study advances a solution through a Decentralized Learning-Driven Multi-Agent Autonomous system (DL-MAAS). The new feature is a Decentralized Cooperation environment in which intelligent and self-managing agents learn utilizing Reinforcement Learning (RL) and Federated Learning (FL) algorithms for enhancing smart water management and real-time disaster relief. IoT devices are adopted for sensing and data acquisition, adaptive learning for decision-making, and optimization of energy use among the agents in the system through metaheuristic algorithms. The research methodology for implementing the proposed solution involves the design of a multi-layered architecture, including data acquisition, decentralized learning, and real-time execution. With a Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.112, R-squared (R²) of 0.953, and Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 0.207, the proposed method is better

Malware detection is one of the critical tasks of cybersecurity, especially considering the growing popularity of mobile devices. The integrity and security of mobile ecosystems rely on the capacity to identify malware quickly and precisely, as security hacks against these devices become increasingly frequent. Due to the requirement for massive volumes of data aggregation, traditional centralized machine learning (ML) techniques for malware detection face challenges with data sharing, computational complexity, and privacy. This research addresses these challenges by proposing a novel model, called "CNN-Fed", which is based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) with Federated Learning (Fed). The main goal of this work is to create a global classifier for Android malware detection that is highly accurate and does not require centralised data aggregation. Using four benchmark datasets—Drebin, Malgenome, Kronodroid, and Tuandromd—the CNN-Fed model is trained across many clients in a federated setting under the suggested architecture. Then we use multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methodology to evaluate the number of clients and number of rounds. We use two MCDM methods such as Entropy methodology to compute the criteria weights and the CoCoSo methodology to rank the alternatives. We use the interval-valued neutrosophic sets (IVNSs) to deal with uncertainty and vague information. We use five criteria such as accuracy, F1-score, precision, recall, and FP and six of alternatives refer to the number of clients and number of rounds. Optimizing therapy and rehabilitation for Parkinson's disease (PD) requires early identification and precise evaluation of the illness's course. However, there is disagreement about the best way to use gait analysis to categorize the severity of motor symptoms and identify early-stage Parkinson's disease. The precision of machine learning (ML) models in identifying early and intermediate stages of Parkinson's disease was assessed in this study. Six ML models are used in this study for the prediction of PD. Different metrics are used to evaluate ML models such as accuracy, precision, recall, f1-score, and AUC score. Then we propose a multi-criteria decision-making methodology (MCDM) to evaluate the ML models and select the best one. Two MCDM methods are used such as CRITIC method to compute the criteria weights and the TOPSIS method to rank the alternatives. These methods are used under the bipolar neutrosophic sets (BNSs) to deal with uncertainty information. The results show the support vector machine is the best ML model for the prediction of PD. © 2025, University of New Mexico. All rights reserved.

Evolutionary optimization of Yagi–Uda antenna design using grey wolf optimizer

Meta-heuristic optimization algorithms have become widely used due to their outstanding features, such as gradient-free mechanisms, high flexibility, and great potential for avoiding local optimal solutions. This research explored the grey wolf optimizer (GWO) to find the ideal configuration for a six-element Yagi–Uda antenna. The GWO algorithm adjusted the lengths of the antenna wires and the spacings between them. The goal was to maximize the antenna’s ability to transmit signals (throughput gain). Optimal antenna selection relies on various parameters, including gain, bandwidth, impedance matching, frequency, side-lobe levels, etc. The optimization of a six-element Yagi–Uda antenna presents a challenging engineering design problem due to its multimodal and nonlinear nature. Achieving optimal performance hinges on the intricate interplay between the lengths of the constituent elements and the spacing configurations. To this end, a multiobjective function was adopted to design this antenna. The performance of several meta-heuristic algorithms, including genetic algorithms, biogeography-based optimization, simulated annealing, and grey wolf optimizer, was compared. The GWO-based approach has performed better than its competitors. This optimized antenna design based on GWO reported a gain of 14.21 decibel. Therefore, the GWO-based method optimizes antennas that can be further investigated for other antenna design problems. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2024.

Kidney disease (KD) is a gradually increasing global health concern. It is a chronic illness linked to higher rates of morbidity and mortality, a higher risk of cardiovascular disease and numerous other illnesses, and expensive medical expenses. The machine learning (ML) models are applied for KD prediction with higher accuracy and precision. The KD dataset has uncertainty and vague information, so, we used the neutrosophic set (NS) to deal with vague and uncertainty information in the KD dataset. The KD dataset is converted into the N-KD dataset with three membership functions: truth, indeterminacy, and falsity. Three ML models are used in this study such as logistic regression (LR), support vector machine (SVM), and k-nearest neighbor (KNN). These ML models are applied to the N-KD dataset. The results show the LR has higher accuracy and precision on the N-KD dataset than the original KD dataset. © 2025, University of New Mexico. All rights reserved.
