In modern day, Diabetes has become one of prominent disease that affecting people all around the world. Over 425 million people worldwide with a majority of them are adults living in low and middle income countries had been affected by diabetes. According to the Diabetes Atlas from International Diabetes Federation in 2017, the number of people affected by diabetes disease are expected to increase to over 629 million by 2045. Along with the increasing of the computer science and information technology in researches, its has continued advent into many field including the medical and healthcare field which the cases of this disease and the symptoms are well recorded and documented. This paper aims to use several data mining techniques such as Naive Bayes, Sequential Minimal Optimization (SMO), RepTree and Simple Logistic Regression for classifying whether positive or negative result of diabetes diagnostic. Then, the results will be measured using confusion matrix in term of accuracy, precision and recall as evaluation metric for measuring the classification performance. © 2020 IOP Publishing Ltd. Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs) is a subpart from mobile Ad-hoc networks (MANETs). The main idea from VANETs is to establish communication between vehicles for the safety of the people. However, mobility of vehicles appears to be the main challenge in VANETs. High speed of vehicles causes topology changed that results in an unstable network. Therefore, clustering is used to reduce the effect of vehicle mobility by combining vehicles in a group called cluster. Network stability is based on clusters stability. Therefore, most of the authors focused on increasing cluster stability to enhance the network. Nevertheless, increasing the number of the cluster in the network affects the network performance negatively. This paper proposes a new method called Hybrid Cluster-Head Election (HCHE) to reduce the number of the cluster in the network to increase network performance. Performance of the proposed method was evaluated through simulation by utilising real-time datasets. Arduino, GPS and external antennas were used to collect real GPS locations from Batu Pahat City - Johor - Malaysia. Overall, the proposed method resulted high performance in the reduction ratio of the number of cluster head compared to other recent methods. The proposed method successfully reduced the number of cluster heads by 30%.

In the landscape of optimization for mitigating the Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) in Multiple-Input Multiple-Output and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) systems, prevalent techniques like the tone reservation scheme and l-norm Cyclic Algorithm (LNCA) algorithm grapple with inherent challenges linked to computational complexity and iterative algorithm derivation. While strides have been made with models such as Twin Symbol Hybrid Optimization by the premise of Partial Transmit Sequence (TSHO-PTS) and Advanced Switching Differential Evolution (ASDE), persistent concerns related to symbol overlaps and algorithmic limitations underscore the need for further refinement in computational efficiency within OFDM-based communication systems. In response to these challenges, the proposed Nonlinear Inertia Weight Factor within the Whale Optimization Algorithm (NIWF-WOA) emerges as a solution. Comparative analysis against existing methods like LCNA, Modified Dragonfly Optimization algorithm (MDOA), TSHO-PTS, and ASDE reveals the superior performance of NIWF-WOA. Numerical validation affirms its efficacy, with a recorded in Bit Error Rate (BER) of 10 −2.5 , SNR 10 −3.4 and PAPR of . 10 −4.2 , underscoring the substantial improvement achieved by NIWF-WOA in optimizing PAPR reduction for MIMO-OFDM systems.

Due to mass waste produced every year, there are small number of waste management center in Malaysia and most of the recycling transactions are recorded manually. Therefore, a robust initiative such as Web Automated Bin Recycle (WARB) System is essential to curb these issues. To develop this system, a software development methodology has been used namely the Evolutionary Prototyping model. This application is developed with a dynamic Bootstrap Framework while MySQL Database acts as a database for storing all application usage statistics and for user authentication purposes. To create an attractive user interface, Adobe Photoshop CS6 is used to design background and interface buttons. The main module in WARB includes the carbon emission avoidance (tCO2e) calculator that used to measure the total of CO2e by each material weight as each material has different CO2e reading. WARB is evaluated by two types of evaluation test, the functionality test and user acceptance test (UAT). The software system of their functional requirements or specifications are validated as successful. Meanwhile, the UAT result state that most user are satisfied with the system interface design and performance.

Measuring semantic similarity between terms is an important step in information retrieval and information integration which requires semantic content matching. Semantic similarity has attracted great concern for a long time in artificial intelligence, psychology and cognitive science. This paper contains a review of the state of art approaches including structure based approach, information content based approach, features based approach and hybrid approach. Due to the Covid-19 plague, children with hearing misfortune have experienced challenges in learning and practicing sign language due to need of educational services and learning assets. The next considerations for creating an educational mobile learning application to help deaf kids learn Malaysian Sign Language (MSL). The investigation was conducted through gatherings based on inquire about and interviews with subject matter experts. Instructors recommend that within the current circumstance, versatile learning application are the foremost reasonable stage for understudies to memorize or as an extra learning strategy in arrange to educate them well. This research was conducted through research-based and interview sessions with subject matter experts and followed the Multimedia Mobile Content Development (MMCD) methodology as it was shown to help accelerate development activities and ensure that the application would work and execute as planned. Once the application is developed, students from Sekolah Kebangsaan Silabukan in Lahad Datu, Sabah, will participate in beta testing. Based on the results of user acceptance tests, the application has received positive reviews from its target users. As such, the project's goals are said to have been achieved. At the conclusion of the study, the advantages, limitations and future work of Pocket Sign Language were also identified.

technology is continuously evolving nowadays, and learners are exposed to digital devices at an early stage. It will lead learners to use digital devices to learn or play with instead of using books or traditional puzzle games. Thus, this project will develop an English Language vocabulary learning application using 2D learning content applying an information- based learning and quiz approach, and 2D gamification approach in the game module and executed on the Android platform. Furthermore, the Multimedia Mobile Content Development (MMCD) methodology is selected and used to develop the V ocab Library application is to ensure that the development process can run smoothly and efficiently as planned. This paper is based on the research from online journals and the questionnaire that had distributed. The Vocab Library application is appropriate for 7-year-old target users to learn English vocabulary on a mobile platform, based on the good feedback received from the target users. Lastly, this learning application is designed to help today's children understand and learn English vocabulary, which will benefit children's future.

Tourism is one of the main economic contribution to many countries worldwide. This paper presents an Artificial Intelligence tool to help improve the performance, quality and credibility of customer service for AirAsia Berhad, a renowned local business in travel/airline industry in Malaysia. The tool, AIRA, is developed using C# in Verbot 5.0 and plays an important role as an information gatherer, gathers all the latest and correct information in order to provide the best service to customers. The evaluation has proved that AIRA provided a simple, easy to navigate GUI with high efficiency, hence a user-friendly system that requires little or no technical knowledge to operate. AIRA is hoped to improve the quality of customer service in AirAsia by giving an alternative to entertain travellers. © 2020 IOP Publishing Ltd. All rights reserved.

Over two million of population across worldwide is currently depending on dialysis treatment or a kidney transplant to survive from kidney disease. Therefore, it is imperative for health agencies such as hospitals or insurance companies to predict the probabilities of patients who suffers from chronic case of kidney diseases, hence requiring medical attentions. This study performs a comparative experiment on prediction of chronic kidney disease via a classification methodology. Two supervised classification algorithms are used to build the classification model, which are Two-Class Decision Forest and Two-Class Neural Networks. Experimental results showed that Neural Network performed better based on all features but Decision Forest produced optimal performance with high accuracy, and precision as compared to Neural Networks and other algorithms from the literature such as K-Nearest Neighbor, Support Vector Machine, and Rule Induction. © 2019 IEEE.

In the last decade, huge growth is observed in the online marketplace. Consumers are increasingly engaged in online shopping due to its operational flexibility, huge product search space and diversified products. In this virtual marketplace, consumers make the purchase decision not only based on product specifications given by the seller but also considers the product reviews given by the peer customers. On the other hand, inconsistent reviews make the consumers confused and thus have a negative impact on the overall sales of a business entity. Therefore, identifying the reviewers giving precise and consistent opinions about the products is important for business organizations. In this work, a novel methodology is suggested to classify reviewers into different categories based on the preciseness of the reviews. Business entities can utilize the precise reviewers for getting genuine product feedback and encourage this group to promote their products resulting in increased business growth.
