The conformable double ARA decomposition approach is presented in this current study to solve one-dimensional regular and singular conformable functional Burger's equations. We investigate the conformable double ARA transform's definition, existence requirements, and some basic properties. In this study, we introduce a novel interesting method that combines the double ARA transform with Adomian’s decomposition method, in order to find the precise solutions of some nonlinear fractional problems. Moreover, we use the new approach to solve Burgers' equations for both regular and singular conformable fractional coupled systems. We also provide several instances to demonstrate the usefulness of the current study. mathematica software has been used to get numerical results. © 2023, CC BY.

Active Contour Model is the most original algorithm among the class of Contour Finding methods. Its capability is tested against wound parameter detection given image data. The performance is less satisfying, in general, few perimeters are found correctly, but the rest are far from ideal. However, through some tuning by adding an extra pre-processing step, the result can be improved. Image Interpolation is used to achieve this improvement. This paper reports how significant the improvement is.

Heroin is considered as damage on the health of the *** this paper,we consider a heroin epidemic model with treat age,where the inner rivalry in between the drug users for a small dose of drugs is *** influence of treatment period for a drug consumer before quitting treatment is investigated,where it is obtained that the considered model can undergo backward bifurcation,which shows the possibility of having two endemic equilibriums,this type of bifurcation is discussed in terms of the basic reproduction number *** bifurcation diagram is drown in the case of an age structured ***,we show the existence of Hopf bifurcation is shown under suitable conditions on the model *** obtained mathematical results are confirmed numerically.

DomainForensics: Exposing Face Forgery across Domains via Bi-directional Adaptation

Recent DeepFake detection methods have shown excellent performance on public datasets but are significantly degraded on new forgeries. Solving this problem is important, as new forgeries emerge daily with the continuously evolving generative techniques. Many efforts have been made for this issue by seeking the commonly existing traces empirically on data level. In this paper, we rethink this problem and propose a new solution from the unsupervised domain adaptation perspective. Our solution, called DomainForensics, aims to transfer the forgery knowledge from known forgeries (fully labeled source domain) to new forgeries (label-free target domain). Unlike recent efforts, our solution does not focus on data view but on learning strategies of DeepFake detectors to capture the knowledge of new forgeries through the alignment of domain discrepancies. In particular, unlike the general domain adaptation methods which consider the knowledge transfer in the semantic class category, thus having limited application, our approach captures the subtle forgery traces. We describe a new bidirectional adaptation strategy dedicated to capturing the forgery knowledge across domains. Specifically, our strategy considers both forward and backward adaptation, to transfer the forgery knowledge from the source domain to the target domain in forward adaptation and then reverse the adaptation from the target domain to the source domain in backward adaptation. In forward adaptation, we perform supervised training for the DeepFake detector in the source domain and jointly employ adversarial feature adaptation to transfer the ability to detect manipulated faces from known forgeries to new forgeries. In backward adaptation, we further improve the knowledge transfer by coupling adversarial adaptation with self-distillation on new forgeries. This enables the detector to expose new forgery features from unlabeled data and avoid forgetting the known knowledge of known forgery. Extensive experiments

In this paper, we consider a pseudo-parabolic equation with the Caputo fractional derivative. We study the existence and uniqueness of a class of mild solutions of these equations. For a nonlinear problem, we first investigate the global solution under the initial data u0 ∈ L2. In the case of initial data u0 ∈ Lq, q ≠ 2, we obtain the local existence result. Our main tool here is using fundamental tools, namely, Banach fixed point theorem and Sobolev embeddings. In addition, we give an example to illustrate the effectiveness of the method has been proposed. © 2021 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

The main purpose of this paper is to explore the influence of predation on the spread of a disease developed in the prey population where we assume that the prey has a social *** memory of the prey and the predator measured by the time fractional derivative plays a crucial role in modeling the dynamical response in a predator–prey *** memory can be modeled to articulate the involvement of interacting species by the presence of the time fractional derivative in the considered *** the purpose of studying the complex dynamics generated by the presence of infection and the time-fractional-derivative we split our study into two cases. The first one is devotedto study the effect of a non-selective hunting on the spread of the disease, where the localstability of the equilibria is investigated. Further the backward bifurcation is obtainedconcerning basic reproduction rate of the infection. The second case is for explaining theimpact of selecting the weakest infected prey on the edge of the herd by a predator onthe prevalence of the infection, where the local behavior is scrutinized. Moreover, for thegraphical representation part, a numerical simulation scheme has been achieved usingthe Caputo fractional derivative operator.

The objective of this study is to design an Electroencephalographic (EEG) analytic methodology that allows to develop a variety of analysis and interpretations of brain signals. The initial phase considers the acquisition and filtering of EEG signals, the division into bands in data ranges, and the storage of EEG signals in a cloud data base. Then, an analytical phase considering descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analysis is accomplished. A sequence of analytic intermediate processing steps is done in order to render a graphic visualization of significant correlations between pairs of EEG channels. Pearson correlation is utilized to detect synchronic connectivity through the brain areas. Time series in nearly instantaneous time lapses are treated by using Hilbert Huang Transform. An experimental design by submitting a set of students to an abbreviated version Raven visual test is made providing results in correlation maps of cerebral connectivity.

Implementation of VAK model in interactive learning multimedia based on snakes and ladders game to improve student’s extrapolation understanding on vector space materials

This study aims to produce an interactive multimedia that can be used as a learning tool, as well as to obtain responses from students on the media that has been made. The research methodology used the ADDIE method by selecting students of the computer science Education Study Program, faculty of mathematic and Natural science Education, Education University of Indonesia, as respondents. The research results obtained are: 1) Based on the results of expert validation, learning multimedia got a score of 82.78% and was included in the ‘Very Good’ category. 2) Learning multimedia can improve students’ understanding of extrapolation. This can be seen from the increase in the average value of 29.3%. 3) Students gave a positive response to learning multimedia where the results of the media assessment got a score of 85.53% and entered the ‘Very Good’ category. This is due to the high enthusiasm and good assessment results of the respondents. This research has an impact on effective student learning activities in Linear Algebra and Matrix subjects, where students are not only required to perform calculations, but also the process of proving a theory.

The objective of this paper is to show the added value of using tools such as eyetracking, galvanic skin response, facial coding and others in the field of market research and user experience research. We will present 3 case studies in which these tools have been used successfully. We will give an overview of the background, the objectives, methods and results and how the neuro-tools provided additional insights into consumer behaviour, which would otherwise not have been possible. In this paper we will specifically show cases from packaging design, advertising research and user experience research thus only covering a small part of possible application areas.

Seasonal space-time based model for infectious disease prediction

Research on infectious diseases prediction has become a concern for many researches globally. This is realized because the outbreak of infectious diseases has a negative impact for on the quality of human life, including economic conditions. The aim of prediction of infectious diseases is to maximize preventive action so the large-scale outbreak of infectious diseases could be minimized. Although predicting the diseases is not an easy job, but with more data being collected and the progress of methods, this not impossible to do. In addition, some infectious diseases such as ARI (Acute Respiratory Infection) often occur in certain environmental conditions and certain time. So it has been realized that some occurrences of these diseases are seasonal and also cannot be separated from the condition of time and location. Therefore, in this study we create a model to predict a potential incidence of infectious diseases based on space-time condition using STARIMA (Seasonal Space-Time Autoregressive Moving Average). To evaluate the model we compare the MAE value of STARIMA dan SARIMA model. The result shows that STARIMA model can used to predict the incidence of infectious diseases better than SARIMA model with the MAE value of STARIMA are 28.10% for data testing, 19.34% data training.
