Health care has become an essential social-economic concern for all stakeholders(e.g.,patients,doctors,hospitals etc.),health needs,private care and the elderly class of *** massive increase in the usage of health care Internet of things(IoT)applications has great technological evolvement in human *** are various smart health care services like remote patient monitoring,diagnostic,disease-specific remote treatments and *** applications are available in a split fashion and provide solutions for variant diseases,medical resources and remote service *** main objective of this research is to provide a management platform where all these services work as a single unit to facilitate the *** ontological model of integrated healthcare services is proposed by getting requirements from various existing healthcare *** were 26 smart health care services and 26 smart health care services to classify the knowledge-based ontological *** proposed ontological model is derived from different classes,relationships,and constraints to integrate health care *** model is developed using Protégébased on each interrelated/correlated health care service having different *** querying SPARQL protocol and RDF query language(SPARQL)were used for knowledge *** Pellet Reasoner is used to check the validity and relations coherency of the proposed ontology *** to other smart health care services integration systems,the proposed ontological model provides more cohesiveness.

Recent advances in DeepFake face-swapping technology have made it simple to create fake videos that appear remarkably real. Since it has been employed in numerous instances for deceit, extortion, and the falsification of facts, its widespread use has generated a huge social, security, and political risk. Its use on websites and social media has become more widespread. Detecting this crime is becoming more and more important due to the potential harm false videos may inflict on a global scale. This research offers a method for building a deep learning model that really can tell the difference between authentic and false videos. The article describes how to create new models based on the VGG16 neural network, a previously created neural network that does image categorization, using transfer learning in the computer vision field. Deep learning is still becoming better at both producing and spotting DeepFakes. DeepFake detection algorithms are developed using dated public datasets, and as a result, they may become obsolete with time. and require continual updating. The research findings are encouraging, and our results reached an accuracy rate of over 90%. © 2023 IEEE.

Question Classification plays a vital role in identifying the accurate answer to any question, and is considered as a core component of Question Answering Systems. In Nepali Natural Language Processing, the area of Question Answering has not even been initiated due to a lack of dataset. The dataset of Nepali factual questions has been created by collecting questions from general knowledge books and labelling them with developed taxonomy. The problem of Nepali factoid question classification has been studied with a Support Vector Machine, which works as a baseline classification algorithm and obtained a 0.74 weighted F1-score in the imbalance dataset. The experimental results of the proposed model show the effectiveness of the approach in classifying factoid questions accurately compared with the state-of-the-art approaches.

Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) holds a record of high incidence and severe global harm. In tasks of liver cancer segmentation based on 3D medical images, the majority of methods have endeavored to enhance the 3D U-net by integrating the latest modules from the field of computer Vision (such as the transformer), often overlooking the distinct characteristics of liver components. We introduced a novel deep learning architecture, Modif-SegUnet, to circumvent this limitation. This architecture extends the U-net model by incorporating a 3D-modifiable attention module, thereby fostering a heightened focus on distinguishing between normal liver sections and lesions. Furthermore, Modif-SegUnet ingeniously amalgamates the 3D-modifiable attention module with the Modif-transformer block, enabling efficient capture of relevant and valuable full-text information in CT images that contain liver or tumor regions. We subjected the proposed Modif-SegUnet to evaluation on the Liver Tumor Segmentation benchmark dataset. Experimental outcomes indicate that our methodology surpasses state-of-the-art approaches in liver tumor segmentation, suggesting potential pathways for advancing the diagnosis and treatment of liver cancer.

Artificial intelligence-driven Chatbots, especially large language models (LLMs) like GPT-4, represent significant progress in digital education. These models excel in mimicking human-like text and transforming learning and teaching methods. This study examines the development, application, and impact of LLMs in education. It highlights their role in automating instructional tasks and promoting personalized learning experiences. Despite integration concerns and ethical debates, LLMs showcase the potential of AI to improve educational practices. Our research concludes that LLMs offer transformative opportunities for education. However, their incorporation requires careful ethical considerations, data privacy measures, and a balance between human educators and AI technologies. The findings suggest strategies for integrating LLMs into educational frameworks to enhance learning outcomes while preserving educational integrity. © The Author(s) 2025.

This paper introduces the largest and most diverse e-waste dataset to date, consisting of 19,613 pictures, 28,941 annotations, and 77 classes, where each class represents one visually distinctive type of electronic device. Furthermore, our dataset was structured using the United Nations University's UNU-KEYS classification, which ensures the compatibility of our dataset with the different e-waste classifications used worldwide and allowed us to choose more relevant dataset classes. The proposed methodology for image collection, annotation, and labeling is explained. The advantages and disadvantages of this dataset and how it can be improved in the future are presented. This dataset has been made open source with a permissive CC by 4.0 license so that it can be used to stimulate scientific progress in the field of automatic e-waste recognition, with the end goal of solving the global e-waste problem. Due to its importance in studying people’s thoughts on various Web 2.0 services, emotion classification is a critical undertaking. Most existing research is focused on the English language, with little work on low-resource languages. Though sentiment analysis, particularly emotion classification in English, has received increasing attention in recent years, little study has been done in the context of Bangla, one of the world’s most widely spoken languages. In this research, we propose a complete set of approaches for identifying and extracting emotions from Bangla texts. We provide a Bangla emotion classifier for six classes, i.e., anger, disgust, fear, joy, sadness, and surprise, from Bangla words using transformer-based models, which exhibit phenomenal results in recent days, especially for high-resource languages. The Unified Bangla Multi-class Emotion Corpus (UBMEC) is used to assess the performance of our models. UBMEC is created by combining two previously released manually labelled datasets of Bangla comments on six emotion classes with fresh manually labelled Bangla comments created by us. The corpus dataset and code we used in this work are publicly available.

The analysis of high-dimensional microarray gene expression data presents critical challenges, including excessive dimensionality, increased computational burden, and sensitivity to random initialization. Traditional optimization algorithms often produce inconsistent and suboptimal results, while failing to preserve local data structures limiting both predictive accuracy and biological interpretability. To address these limitations, this study proposes an adaptive neighborhood-preserving multi-objective particle swarm optimization (ANPMOPSO) framework for gene selection. ANPMOPSO introduces four key innovations: (1) a weighted neighborhood-preserving ensemble embedding (WNPEE) technique for dimensionality reduction that retains local structure;(2) Sobol sequence (SS) initialization to enhance population diversity and convergence stability;(3) a differential evolution (DE)-based adaptive velocity update to dynamically balance exploration and exploitation;and (4) a novel ranking strategy that combines Pareto dominance with neighborhood preservation quality to prioritize biologically meaningful gene subsets. Experimental evaluations on six benchmark microarray datasets and eleven multi-modal test functions (MMFs) demonstrate that ANPMOPSO consistently outperforms state-of-the-art methods. For example, it achieves 100% classification accuracy on Leukemia and Small-Round-Blue-Cell Tumor (SRBCT) using only 3–5 genes, improving accuracy by 5–15% over competitors while reducing gene subsets by 40–60%. Additionally, on MMFs, ANPMOPSO attains superior hypervolume values (e.g., 1.0617 ± 0.2225 on MMF1, approximately 10–20% higher than competitors), confirming its robustness in balancing convergence and diversity. Although the method incurs higher training time due to its structural and adaptive components, it achieves a strong trade-off between computational cost and biological relevance, making it a promising tool for high-dimensional gene selection in bioinformatics. © 2025
