In order to establish sustainable operations, Internet innovation has been widely adopted in the retail sector; however, certain operational difficulties, such as security and confidentiality have been uncovered in practise. As a result, linked fields must do more thorough theoretical study. In order to compete with online merchants and promote sustainable growth, this study examines how traditional brick and mortar stores might use IoT technology. First, by taking into account the costs of customer inconvenience associated with shopping through various retail partners and the influence of Technology, pricing Plans were created for the store and the retailer of concrete blocks, respectively. Furthermore, by contrasting different scenarios, the benefits of internet to retail shops and consumer excess are analysed. After that, the basic models were expanded to take into account consumer - perceived sensitivity regarding IoT technology and price competitiveness in order to test the robustness of the analytical conclusions. Additionally, actual data-based numerical analyses are performed.

Leukemia is a cancer disease that is very dangerous for human health. Therefore, it should be we need regularly check to know whether we are infected with Leukemia or not. Unfortunately, we need a high cost to check it early. Many researchers have proposed to detect, classify, and recognize Leukemia disease based on white blood cell images from the microscopic. This paper proposes simplifying the AlexNet architecture to classify Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia images. We reduce the number of original AlexNet kernels from the first until the last convolution. The kernel reduction is intended to shorten the computation time while the training process. However, kernel size, number of kernels, and feature maps have impacted the number of trainable parameters. We have successfully implemented our convolutional neural network architecture to classify the Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia image with 94.67% accuracy and 3.96 standard deviations. Our proposed architecture has delivered better results than the others, such as Naïve Bayes, Hausdrof SVM-based Leukemia Detection, and Fuzzy-based Leukemia Detection.

Disease detection based on blood type using inference forward chaining method

Blood type is a permanent and irreversible innate human being. In general, there are 4 types of blood, A, B, O and AB. According to the nature, blood is the key to the entire human immune system, as well as creating antibodies to ward off various diseases and infections. There is a correlation between a disease with a certain blood type. But the knowledge about causes of diseases by blood type is still rarely known by public. This paper presents an implementation of the forward chaining method in the diagnosis diseases based on blood type in getting early knowledge about disease. The Forward Chaining method is used as an inference engine to work based on the fact and symptoms to get the conclusion or result. By utilizing expert system technology and the inference forward chaining method, an android based mobile application is designed to provide early information about diseases that can be caused by blood type. This method will analyze the diagnosis based-on disease database. Testing system using 20 data samples, the diagnostic results showed 17 samples were successfully diagnosed with a match of 80%, and 3 samples with a match of 85%. Based on the test results, the percentage of success reached 81%. Finally, it can be concluded that the disease detection application based on blood type can be used to help user to diagnose diseases earlier and know how to make the prevention against these diseases without meet medical experts. It is more efficient with time, cost, and energy.

Bridging composite and real: Towards end-to-end deep image matting

Extracting accurate foregrounds from natural images benefits many downstream applications such as film production and augmented reality. However, the furry characteristics and various appearance of the foregrounds, e.g., animal and portrait, challenge existing matting methods, which usually require extra user inputs such as trimap or scribbles. To resolve these problems, we study the distinct roles of semantics and details for image matting and decompose the task into two parallel sub-tasks: high-level semantic segmentation and low-level details matting. Specifically, we propose a novel Glance and Focus Matting network (GFM), which employs a shared encoder and two separate decoders to learn both tasks in a collaborative manner for end-to-end natural image matting. Besides, due to the limitation of available natural images in the matting task, previous methods typically adopt composite images for training and evaluation, which result in limited generalization ability on real-world images. In this paper, we investigate the domain gap issue between composite images and real-world images systematically by conducting comprehensive analyses of various discrepancies between the foreground and background images. We find that a carefully designed composition route RSSN that aims to reduce the discrepancies can lead to a better model with remarkable generalization ability. Furthermore, we provide a benchmark containing 2,000 high-resolution real-world animal images and 10,000 portrait images along with their manually labeled alpha mattes to serve as a test bed for evaluating matting model's generalization ability on real-world images. Comprehensive empirical studies have demonstrated that GFM outperforms state-of-the-art methods and effectively reduces the generalization error. Wide-angle image rectification: A survey

Wide field-of-view (FOV) cameras, which capture a larger scene area than narrow FOV cameras, are used in many applications including 3D reconstruction, autonomous driving, and video surveillance. However, wide-angle images contain distortions that violate the assumptions underlying pinhole camera models, resulting in object distortion, difficulties in estimating scene distance, area, and direction, and preventing the use of off-the-shelf deep models trained on undistorted images for downstream computer vision tasks. Image rectification, which aims to correct these distortions, can solve these problems. In this paper, we comprehensively survey progress in wide-angle image rectification from transformation models to rectification methods. Specifically, we first present a detailed description and discussion of the camera models used in different approaches. Then, we summarize several distortion models including radial distortion and projection distortion. Next, we review both traditional geometry-based image rectification methods and deep learning-based methods, where the former formulates distortion parameter estimation as an optimization problem and the latter treats it as a regression problem by leveraging the power of deep neural networks. We evaluate the performance of state-of-the-art methods on public datasets and show that although both kinds of methods can achieve good results, these methods only work well for specific camera models and distortion types. We also provide a strong baseline model and carry out an empirical study of different distortion models on synthetic datasets and real-world wide-angle images. Finally, we discuss several potential research directions that are expected to further advance this area in the future. Copyright © 2020, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Total completion time minimization for scheduling with incompatibility cliques

This paper considers parallel machine scheduling with incompatibilities between jobs. The jobs form a graph and no two jobs connected by an edge are allowed to be assigned to the same machine. In particular, we study the case where the graph is a collection of disjoint cliques. Scheduling with incompatibilities between jobs represents a well-established line of research in scheduling theory and the case of disjoint cliques has received increasing attention in recent years. While the research up to this point has been focused on the makespan objective, we broaden the scope and study the classical total completion time criterion. In the setting without incompatibilities, this objective is well known to admit polynomial time algorithms even for unrelated machines via matching techniques. We show that the introduction of incompatibility cliques results in a richer, more interesting picture. Scheduling on identical machines remains solvable in polynomial time, while scheduling on unrelated machines becomes APX-hard. We identify several more subcases of theses problems that are polynomial time solvable or NP-hard, respectively. Furthermore, we study the problem under the paradigm of fixed-parameter tractable algorithms (FPT). In particular, we consider a problem variant with assignment restrictions for the cliques rather than the jobs. We prove that it is NP-hard and can be solved in FPT time with respect to the number of cliques. Moreover, we show that the problem on unrelated machines can be solved in FPT time for reasonable parameters, e.g., the parameter pair: number of machines and maximum processing time. The latter result is a natural extension of known results for the case without incompatibilities and can even be extended to the case of total weighted completion time. The rapidly increasing penetration of electric vehicles(EVs) in modern metropolises has been witnessed during the past decade, inspired by financial subsidies as well as public awareness of climate change and environment pro-tection. Integrating charging facilities, especially highpower chargers in fast charging stations, into power distribution systems remarkably alters the traditional load flow pattern, and thus imposes great challenges on the operation of distribution network in which controllable resources are rare. On the other hand, provided with appropriate incentives, the energy storage capability of electric vehicle offers a unique opportunity to facilitate the integration of distributed wind and solar power generation into power distribution system. The above trends call for thorough investigation and research on the interdependence between transportation system and power distribution system. This paper conducts a comprehensive survey on this line of research. The basic models of transportation system and power distribution system are introduced,especially the user equilibrium model, which describes the vehicular flow on each road segment and is not familiar to the readers in power system community. The modelling of interdependence across the two systems is *** into account such interdependence, applications ranging from long-term planning to short-term operation are reviewed with emphasis on comparing the description of traffic-power interdependence. Finally, an outlook of prospective directions and key technologies in future research is summarized.

Supply Chain Management (SCM) requires all sectors to collaborate, coordinate, communicate and exchange information to improve inter-sector productivity. It takes information technology and supplies chain concepts to integrate all sector activities involved such as, in the health field such as clinics and health services. system integration will create good communication and exchange of information, and data availability will be fulfilled. This research will try to offer information technology in the form of integration system by using SCM concept to improve management performance;this research focuses on pharmaceutical warehouse operational activities in the way of distribution and management of drugs. Delivery of LPLPO by Clinic, Monitoring of transactions by Public Health Office. This activity is an SCM practice that requires connected entities to view the same data without disrupting the independence of each sector. system design using the waterfall method. The system will be built with PHP programming and MySQL database. Testing system using Xampp 6.2 servers with black box method, testing is done by requesting pharmacy installation officer to use the system. The results of the system test show that the performance in the internal control section helps management in looking at the stock situation, the type of drug demand, and the trend of existing disease patterns in the community. Data visualization is also helpful in determining health intervention decisions and policies. This has opened the eyes of management to the importance of information technology.
