The Application of Fuzzy Logic Method in the Debtors Eligibility Assessment system of Microfinance Institution

Decision-making processes in determining loan eligibility are often subjective which leads to imprecise credit predictions. Due to inaccurate inquiry on prospective customers done by field survey officers of Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) Bandung City, it has experienced credit complications such as bad credits. Therefore, this study aims to help decision-makers in determining creditworthiness and preventing bad credits from occurring. To realize this solution, the study uses the Fuzzy Logic method to calculate the creditworthiness of each prospective loaner based on the inquiries done in the field survey. Fuzzy Logic is known to be a 'counting' methodology with varying words. In addition, it can implement human expertise into machine language with ease and adequately. Based on numerous testing performed, the results demonstrate a level of 90% in accuracy when inputting within the valid ranges of each fuzzy set and membership function. However, the level of accuracy is only based on the clarification result which is determined by a researcher and BPR director, not a general level of accuracy for other microfinance institutions. Nevertheless, the findings of this study prove the method has a high enough accuracy to support decision-makers in determining the loan eligibility of prospective loaners and through this application in the surveying process, survey workers can work more efficiently. Hence, in future has a higher chance of predicting bad credits from potential loaners.

We developed an expressible pupil response inter face using hemispherical displays for enhancing human-robot communication. This interface looks like robot's eyeballs and expresses vivid pupil response by speech input. In particular, the interface can express exaggerated pupil response that human cannot express. In this study, for the basic research of realizing affinitive interaction in human-robot communication, we analyzed the pupil response with affective expression during utterance using a pupil measurement device. On the basis of the analysis result, we developed a speech-driven pupil response system with affective expression using hemispherical displays. This system expresses pupil response with various affective expression by speech input. We carried out an evaluation experiment by using a sensory evaluation with the system acting as the speaker. The result demonstrated that the system with affective expression is effective for enhancing affinitive interaction.

Developing countries are the main state of the global urban population growth. The trend creates unprecedented technology challenges. In developing countries, technologies are enabling progress on urban functionality, productivity, and livability. In response to that need, the Working Group 5 in the International Telecommunication Union's -Telecommunication (ITU-T) that forms the Focus Group on Smart Sustainable Cities (FG-SSC) provides the specific dimension and develops technical reports, specifications, and others that make cities smart and *** the wide range of literature that exists on the topic of global smart cities, there are differences that characterize the smart city application needs for each region, especially in a developing country. This paper defines dimensions of smart city application and how the development refers to be the better understanding of what constitutes a smart city is. This paper aims to provide the general foundation for further, more in-depth explorations of application development on a smart city.

Coronary Heart Disease is one of many diseases that cause death and still being a health problem for both developed and developing countries. It is estimated to double in the next two decades, making it the biggest leading cause of death in 2020. The causes of coronary heart disease contain age and sex, with the incidence of males is more than in females but the incidence of females will increase after menopause (the end of the menstrual cycle) around the age of 50 years. This is due to estrogen (steroid compounds) have a protective effect on the onset of atherosclerosis. In this study the author wants to create a system that can detect heart disease by users before ensuring himself to the doctor to diagnose heart disease which is very dangerous. The system that the author will design used the certainty factor method to provide an assessment of the symptoms of user diagnosis. The application was designed with the desktop-based visual studio software assistance that is easy to use by everyone because it is familiar with the windows display design. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

With advancements in the science of detection and attribution studies, the influence of climate change over many events has now been quantified. Because of the rapidly increasing temperatures, vulnerable populations (adults older than 65 years, and children younger than one year of age) were exposed to 3·7 billion more heatwave days in 2021 than annually in 1986–2005 (indicator 1.1.2), and heat-related deaths increased by 68% between 2000–04 and 2017–21 (indicator 1.1.5), a death toll that was significantly exacerbated by the confluence of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the local cooling and overall health benefits of urban greenspaces, only 277 (27%) of 1038 global urban centres were at least moderately green in 2021 (indicator 2.2.3), and the number of households with air conditioning increased by 66% from 2000 to 2020, a maladaptive response that worsens the energy crisis and further increases urban heat, air pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions. Companies must have a strong competitive strategy in the market in meeting customer needs, it is necessary an information system that applies the method of customer relationship management. Target for this research were SMEs Tapis in Lampung Indonesia. Tapis Lampung is one of the clothes used in Lampung Indonesia culture. Tapis Lampung must be introduced and disseminated, not only in Indonesia, but in overseas. Problem in this study is product orders are still coming directly to the location and via telephone, as well as product marketing through Instagram media. Orders are recorded in the book, so that data processing is less effective and efficient. There is no consumer database to see the number of existing customers, do not yet have communication and service good to consumers. The purpose of this study is to produce an information system application program using web-based E-crm method which is a strategy to increase sales, expand marketing and improve services to consumers. The application of web-based CRM methods in Tapis Lampung SMEs is important so that they can open sales opportunities globally, and have a good relationship with consumers because they can provide services to consumers that are more effective and efficient.

We consider a small object in 3D moving under the influence of a force that may depend explicitly on time, on the position of the object, and on its velocity. The equations of motion of classical mechanics are assumed to hold. If the position of the object is specified at some initial and some final time, obtaining the trajectory of the object requires the solution of a two-point boundary value problem. To solve the problem various numerical technics can be applied. This paper extends the recently proposed shooting-projection method to 3D. We introduce a Lagrangian from which, applying the principle of least action, the projection trajectory is derived. Analysis of the action reveals the meaning of the projection trajectory. Using the shooting-projection method, the considered two-point boundary value problem is solved for the case of a projectile motion in the presence of air resistance and wind.

The security of information in this global era is increasingly becoming a vital need in various aspects of life. An information will have a higher value when it comes to aspects of business decisions. This study presents a learning application to explain how to secure data using cryptographic techniques. This study aims to design a prototype learning application of cryptographic techniques using algorithm RC4 method. Based on the results of data analysis and after completing the design of RC4 algorithm cryptographic learning software, the authors found this software shows every step and stages of the processes (data input process (Plaintext or Ciphertext string), Key padding process (U), formation process in S-Box table, the Key-Flow formation process (K-keystream), encryption process and decryption process) contained in RC4 algorithm cryptography, so it can help understanding or learning work procedures of algorithms in the cryptographic method. Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 is an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) application that is used to create and develop software. In this application there were various features that facilitate programming such as compilation, debugging, project settings, designing and editing visual interfaces, and so on. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

With the technological advances in the field of multimedia, associated with the generalization of their uses in many applications such as television archiving, motion tracking, video surveillance, etc. Semantic analysis and automatic understanding of large collections of video documents become a major problem. Consequently, the need for a system, which will allow to effectively manipulate video content is undeniable. This paper presents an approach that allows the systematic video analysis using deep learning and ontology generation. The proposed approach permits the extraction and the building of an ontology using results obtained by the deep learning techniques such as key frames, detected objects and actions (movements).
