The invention of artificial intelligence and natural language processing has revolutionised human-machine interaction, and OpenAI's ChatGPT models are at the forefront of this. GPT-3 and GPT-4 models generate human-like text, answer questions and perform all kinds of language-related tasks. ChatGPT relies heavily on the quality of the requests it receives. This paper addresses the issue of efficient prompting in order to maximise its potential. Different prompting techniques are described in the paper: prompt template design, continuous prompts, few-shot learning, chain of thought prompting and metadata expansion. The conclusions show that learning how to write good prompts is crucial for realizing the full potential of ChatGPT in various natural language processing tasks. © 2024 IEEE.

The rapid population growth results in a crucial problem in the early detection of diseases inmedical *** all the cancers unveiled,breast cancer is considered the second most severe ***,an exponential rising in death cases incurred by breast cancer is expected due to the rapid population growth and the lack of resources required for performing medical *** recent advances in machine learning could help medical staff in diagnosing diseases as they offer effective,reliable,and rapid responses,which could help in decreasing the death *** this paper,we propose a new algorithm for feature selection based on a hybrid between powerful and recently emerged optimizers,namely,guided whale and dipper throated *** proposed algorithm is evaluated using four publicly available breast cancer *** evaluation results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach from the accuracy and speed *** prove the superiority of the proposed algorithm,a set of competing feature selection algorithms were incorporated into the conducted *** addition,a group of statistical analysis experiments was conducted to emphasize the superiority and stability of the proposed *** best-achieved breast cancer prediction average accuracy based on the proposed algorithm is 99.453%.This result is achieved in an average time of 3.6725 s,the best result among all the competing approaches utilized in the experiments.

This article examines the development of a Digital Learning Ecosystem (DLE) for engineering education, supported by online learning, within the framework of Erasmus+ international educational projects. We hypothesize that a DLE can address the challenges posed by rapid technological changes associated with Industry 4.0 and digital transformation, thus transforming engineering education to meet modern industry needs. Building on the earlier Erasmus+ CybPhys project, which established a Sharing Modelling and Simulation Environment (SMSE) for digitalizing online technical courses, the DIGITRANS project aims to enhance this architecture to include remote laboratories through the Sharing Remote Experiment Environment (SREE) platform. The project involves acquiring hardware and open-source software for SREE and establishing two physical remote laboratories. A study conducted in spring 2023, using the Technology Acceptance Model framework, indicated positive student perceptions of SMSE, with students believing it would enhance learning outcomes and expressing intentions to use the platform frequently. The efficacy of the DLE in addressing technological advancement challenges will be further evaluated through post-ante assessments and feedback from prospective employers and stakeholders, focusing on the implementation of industry recommendations and the correlation between pre- and post-implementation survey responses from industry and academic experts. © 2024 IEEE.

The focus of this study is to investigate how digital media use affects the daily activities, emotional well-being, and general lifestyle of high school students in relation to education amidst concerns about a 'new terrain or venue' for learning in an era moving full swing towards digitization. The study, conducted with students from grades 9-11, seeks to identify overall trends and associations involving digital media interactions: considering both byproducts of using new technology as an educational tool- in addition discursive aspects allowing for different forms of distraction. In summary, the results showed that digital media use is common and often regarded as educationally beneficial or a positive form of relaxation;however, daily activities are it affected by substantial adverse impacts on everyday life and time management. Suggestions focus on supporting healthy digital media habits, including content-wise engagement and time management tools. © 2024 IEEE.

This study presents a dipper-throated-based ant colony optimization (DTACO) with the Seasonal Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average with eXogenous factor (SARIMAX) model (DTACO+SARIMAX) to forecast monkeypox cases. The work optimizes the SARIMAX model using grid search cross-validation and fine-tunes its hyperparameters using DTACO to improve prediction accuracy. The suggested model's consistency and accuracy are considerable compared to previous studies. Comparisons with state-of-the-art models validate the proposed model's predictions. DTACO+SARIMAX can be used to control disease and monitor monkeypox. Healthcare organizations and governments can better manage and track the pandemic's course by offering accurate predictions, reducing public panic, and enabling effective pandemic planning. The Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Wilcoxon signed-rank tests are conducted on the proposed DTACO-SARIMAX model and compared models. © 2023 IEEE.

Frequently, individuals undergo specific episodes of mental health challenges throughout their lifetime. But the COVID pandemic has triggered a surge in mental health disorders arising from isolation, monotonous routines, demanding workloads, financial disparities, and disruptions to daily schedules. Furthermore, the global pandemic has induced constant anxiety and stress. Beyond the pandemic, the competition and intense pressure of the modern world impact mental health. Access to advanced mental health solutions and the necessary familiarity remain limited for most of the population. Given the integration of technology into daily life, diverse remedies, including mobile and web applications, have emerged to tackle the escalating challenge of mental health disorders. This study proposes an accessible and cost-effective approach that employs machine learning to detect stress levels and discern user emotions from journal entries and facial expressions while integrating self-journaling, video recommendations, and visual content generation to stimulate positive emotions and relieve stress. © 2023 IEEE.

One of the most important subjects in statistics is the theory of estimation. In this paper, we consider the generalized Bayes shrinkage estimator of the mean vector for multivariate normal distribution with the unknown covariance matrix under balanced quadratic loss. Also, we find the minimax and admissible estimator of the mean vector based on the generalized Bayes estimator. We obtain Stein’s unbiased risk estimator (SURE) threshold with a generalized Bayes shrinkage estimator and we find the wavelet shrinkage generalized Bayes SURE. Finally, we present a simulation study to test the validity of the generalized Bayes SURE and the concrete compressive strength dataset is given to test the efficiency of this estimator in denoising. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

One of the most common kinds of cancer is breast *** early detection of it may help lower its overall rates of *** this paper,we robustly propose a novel approach for detecting and classifying breast cancer regions in thermal *** proposed approach starts with data preprocessing the input images and segmenting the significant regions of *** addition,to properly train the machine learning models,data augmentation is applied to increase the number of segmented regions using various scaling *** the other hand,to extract the relevant features from the breast cancer cases,a set of deep neural networks(VGGNet,ResNet-50,AlexNet,and GoogLeNet)are *** resulting set of features is processed using the binary dipper throated algorithm to select the most effective features that can realize high classification *** selected features are used to train a neural network to finally classify the thermal images of breast *** achieve accurate classification,the parameters of the employed neural network are optimized using the continuous dipper throated optimization *** results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach in classifying the breast cancer cases when compared to other recent approaches in the ***,several experiments were conducted to compare the performance of the proposed approach with the other *** results of these experiments emphasized the superiority of the proposed approach.

A substitution box(S-Box)is a crucial component of contemporary cryptosystems that provide data protection in block *** the moment,chaotic maps are being created and extensively used to generate these SBoxes as a chaotic map assists in providing disorder and resistance to combat cryptanalytical *** this paper,the construction of a dynamic S-Box using a cipher key is proposed using a novel chaotic map and an innovative tweaking *** projected chaotic map and the proposed tweak approach are presented for the first time and the use of parameters in their workingmakes both of these dynamic in *** tweak approach employs cubic polynomials while permuting the values of an initial S-Box to enhance its cryptographic *** of the parameters are provided using the cipher key and a small variation in values of these parameters results in a completely different unique *** analysis and exploration confirmed that the projected chaoticmap exhibits a significant amount of chaotic *** security assessment in terms of bijectivity,nonlinearity,bits independence,strict avalanche,linear approximation probability,and differential probability criteria are utilized to critically investigate the effectiveness of the proposed S-Box against several *** proposed S-Box’s cryptographic performance is comparable to those of recently projected S-Boxes for its adaption in real-world security *** comparative scrutiny pacifies the genuine potential of the proposed S-Box in terms of its applicability for data security.

A Mobile Ad hoc Network(MANET)is a group of low-power con-sumption of wireless mobile nodes that conﬁgure a wireless network without the assistance of any existing infrastructure/centralized *** primary aim of MANETs is to extendﬂexibility into the self-directed,mobile,and wireless domain,in which a cluster of autonomous nodes forms a MANET routing *** Intrusion Detection System(IDS)is a tool that examines a network for mal-icious behavior/policy violations.A network monitoring system is often used to report/gather any suspicious attacks/*** IDS is a software program or hardware system that monitors network/security trafﬁc for malicious attacks,sending out alerts whenever it detects malicious *** impact of Dynamic Source Routing(DSR)in MANETs challenging blackhole attack is investigated in this research *** Cluster Trust Adaptive Acknowledgement(CTAA)method is used to identify unauthorised and malfunctioning nodes in a MANET *** system is active and provides successful delivery of a data packet,which implements Kalman Filters(KF)to anticipate node ***,KF is used to eliminate synchronisation errors that arise during the sending and receiving *** order to provide an energy-efﬁcient solution and to minimize network trafﬁc,route optimization in MANET by using Multi-Objective Particle Swarm Optimization(MOPSO)technique to determine the optimal num-ber of clustered MANET along with energy dissipation in *** to the researchﬁndings,the proposed CTAA-MPSO achieves a Packet Delivery Ratio(PDR)of 3.3%.In MANET,the PDR of CTAA-MPSO improves CTAA-PSO by 3.5%at 30%malware.
