Weather data is very crucial in every aspect of human daily life. It plays an important role in many sectors such as agriculture, tourism, government planning, industry and so on. Weather has a variety of parameters like temperature, pressure, humidity and wind speed. The meteorological department deployed sensors for each weather parameter at different geographical locations to collect data. This data is stored mostly in the unstructured format. Thus, a big amount of data has been collected and archived. Therefore, storage and processing of this big data for accurate weather prediction is a huge challenge. Hadoop an apache product it used to support big data sets in a distributed environment. Hadoop has greatest advantages over scalable and fault-tolerant distributed processing technologies. This paper explains a system that uses the historical weather data of a region and apply the MapReduce and Hadoop techniques to analysis these historical data. © 2019 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Static Analysis Techniques for Fixing software Defects in MPI-Based Parallel Programs

The Message Passing Interface (MPI) is a widely accepted standard for parallel computing on distributed ***, MPI implementations can contain defects that impact the reliability and performance of parallelapplications. Detecting and correcting these defects is crucial, yet there is a lack of published models specificallydesigned for correctingMPI defects. To address this, we propose a model for detecting and correcting MPI defects(DC_MPI), which aims to detect and correct defects in various types of MPI communication, including blockingpoint-to-point (BPTP), nonblocking point-to-point (NBPTP), and collective communication (CC). The defectsaddressed by the DC_MPI model include illegal MPI calls, deadlocks (DL), race conditions (RC), and messagemismatches (MM). To assess the effectiveness of the DC_MPI model, we performed experiments on a datasetconsisting of 40 MPI codes. The results indicate that the model achieved a detection rate of 37 out of 40 codes,resulting in an overall detection accuracy of 92.5%. Additionally, the execution duration of the DC_MPI modelranged from 0.81 to 1.36 s. These findings show that the DC_MPI model is useful in detecting and correctingdefects in MPI implementations, thereby enhancing the reliability and performance of parallel applications. TheDC_MPImodel fills an important research gap and provides a valuable tool for improving the quality ofMPI-basedparallel computing systems.

In recent years, the uses of intelligent methods in biomedical studies are growing gradually. In this paper, a novel method for diabetes disease diagnosis using modified spline smooth support vector machine (MS-SSVM) is presented. To obtain optimal accuracy results, we used Uniform Design method for selection parameter. The performance of the method is evaluated using 10-fold cross validation accuracy, confusion matrix, sensitivity and specificity. The comparison with previous spline SSVM in diabetes disease diagnosis also was given. The obtained classification accuracy using 10-fold cross validation is 96.58%. The results of this study showed that the modified spline SSVM was effective to detect diabetes disease diagnosis and this is very promising result compared to the previously reported results. © 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

In data mining, visual representation can help in enhancing the ability of analyzing and understanding the techniques, patterns and their integration. Recently, there are varieties of visualizers have been proposed in marketplace and knowledge discovery communities. However, the detail visualization processes for constructing any incremental tree data structure from its original dataset are rarely presented. Essentially, graphic illustrations of the complex processes are easier to be understood as compared to the complex computer pseudocode. Therefore, this paper explains the visualization process of constructing our incremental Disorder Support Trie Itemset (DOSTrieIT) data structure from the flat-file dataset. DOSTrieIT can be used later as a compressed source of information for building Frequent Pattern Tree (FP-Tree). To ensure understandability, an appropriate dataset and its processes are graphically presented and details explained.

This paper reports on the outcomes of evaluation recently conducted on Small Medium Enterprises (SME) in Malaysia with respect to a newly developed software Process Improvement model called iSPA. It is conducted based on identified critical success factors for a software project to be successful. Initially, the evaluation investigates on the core process and best practices for a software project management and implementation. It also looks at the feasibility and acceptability of software companies to achieve this model and ended up with a tool development. The evaluation findings indicate the acceptance towards a new SPI methodology and relevance of the prototype tool to mitigate and assist in SPI implementation in an organization.

Nowadays, Tension or Stress is a common and serious problem in our Global Village. Stress and stress related factors contribute to tension and reduced ability to handle life's everyday challenges. This paper proposes a new method to reduce the stress and tension of our life and also proves that mentally, spiritually and physically relaxation can be achieved by the recitation of the holy Quran. In this technique of listening, reading and watching the text of the Holy Quran subject (User) can involve the whole body. The entire process will be controlled by brain, as a result during this practice the whole body will receive relaxation/refreshment, and the exhaustion, boring and tiredness will be finished. This physiological biofeedback manner provides groceries for spirit. Hence this means can be used in hospitals for mentally disturb and depression effected patients, for relaxation of the soldiers, for refreshing the students, to cool down workers in industries and for the entertainment of passengers in buses and airplanes. This approach replaces negative thoughts with positive and truthful thoughts. © 2010 IEEE.

Energy resilience in renewable energy sources dissemination components such as batteries and inverters is crucial for achieving high operational fidelity. Resilience factors play a vital role in determining the performance of power systems, regardless of their operating environment and interruptions. This article introduces a Unified Resilience Model (URM) using Deep Learning (DL) to enhance power system performance. The proposed model analyzes environmental factors impacting the resilience of batteries and energy storage devices. This deep learning approach trains performance-impacting factors using previously known low resilience drain data. The learning output is utilized to augment various strengthening factors, thereby improving resilience. Drain mitigation and performance improvements are combined for direct impact verification. This process validates the model's fidelity in enhancing power system performance, with a specific focus on the impact of weather factors. © 2025 The Authors

A millions of data has been produce by cross-organizational research and collaborations must be managed, shared and analyzed. Data grid is a useful technique to solve these tasks that applicable to process the large number of data produced by scientific experiments. It also enables an organization to operate and manage distributed resources over the internet as a secure, robust, and flexible infrastructure. Some problems must be considered in managing data grid such as reliability and availability of the data to the user access, network latency, failures or malicious attacks during execution and etc. The replication strategy is the solution to solve these problems that can minimize the time access to the data by creating many replicas and storing replicas in appropriate locations. In this paper, we present some reviews on the existing dynamic replication replacement strategies due to the limited storage used on data grid and also to improve the management of data grid. It is shown that replication techniques able to improve availability and reliability of data, network latency, bandwidth consumption, fault tolerance and etc in data grid environments. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.

Mobile Advertising via Bluetooth and 2D Barcodes (MAB-2D) has been developed to create a unique 2D barcodes constructed using Bluetooth’s MAC addresses. The aim is to engage the usage of 2D barcodes in the ubiquitous advertising domain, particularly in mobile ads. Together with a distinctive mobile advertising framework based on Bluetooth’s architecture and implementing pull-based technology led to a spam-free environment. The intention of this project is to have a user-driven mobile advertising in interactive and effective ways. This application enables merchants to advertise their goods and services in a confined space straight to customers. The benefit of this project is to broaden advertising strategy and problems such as disruption in customer’s privacy, spamming, time limitation and high cost of advertising. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2019.
