Evaluation of the parameters affecting the shear strength and ductility of steel–concrete composite beam is the goal of this study. This study focuses on predicting the future output of beam’s strength and ductility based on relative inputs using a soft computing scheme, extreme learning machine (ELM). Estimation and prediction results of the ELM models were compared with genetic programming (GP) and artificial neural networks (ANNs) models. Referring to the experimental results, as opposed to the GP and ANN methods, the ELM approach enhanced generalization ability and predictive accuracy. Moreover, achieved results indicated that the developed ELM models can be used with confidence for further work on formulating novel model predictive strategy in shear strength and ductility of steel concrete composite. Furthermore, the experimental results indicate that on the whole, the newflanged algorithm creates good generalization presentation. In comparison to the other widely used conventional learning algorithms, the ELM has a much faster learning ability.

Coronary Heart Disease is one of many diseases that cause death and still being a health problem for both developed and developing countries. It is estimated to double in the next two decades, making it the biggest leading cause of death in 2020. The causes of coronary heart disease contain age and sex, with the incidence of males is more than in females but the incidence of females will increase after menopause (the end of the menstrual cycle) around the age of 50 years. This is due to estrogen (steroid compounds) have a protective effect on the onset of atherosclerosis. In this study the author wants to create a system that can detect heart disease by users before ensuring himself to the doctor to diagnose heart disease which is very dangerous. The system that the author will design used the certainty factor method to provide an assessment of the symptoms of user diagnosis. The application was designed with the desktop-based visual studio software assistance that is easy to use by everyone because it is familiar with the windows display design.

Sperm morphology is still a standard laboratory analysis in diagnosing infertility in men. Manually identification of sperm form is still not accurate, the difficulty in seeing the form of the invisible sperm from the digital microscope image is often a weakness in the process of identification and takes a long time. Therefore, male fertility identification application system is needed Through sperm abnormalities based on sperm morphology (teratospermia). The method used is invariant moment method. This study uses 15 data testing and 20 data training sperm image. That the process of male fertility identification through sperm abnormalities based on sperm morphology (teratospermia) has an accuracy rate of 80.77%. Use of time to process Identification of male fertility through sperm abnormalities Based on sperm morphology (teratospermia) during 0.4369 seconds.

Differences possessed by children with special needs such as differences in mental traits, sensory abilities, social and emotional behavior etc. of normal children causing learning and developmental barriers on children, so that requiring more specific services. Autism is one category of children with special needs who experience delays in responding to the things around him that caused by chaos in the brain work system. The tendency of autistic children who only focus on themselves makes it difficult to concentrate on one thing and easily switch when being talked. Training focus of the child can be done by giving them basic commands presented with visually appealing from the utilization of augmented reality and leap motion controller.

Nowadays, organizations in both public and private sectors have become increasingly dependent on digital communication and electronic data processing; when data is sent over the internet, it is necessary to utilize a robust method for protecting these data. To accomplish this task, we will create a new method based on the principle of Image Processing, Steganography and Cryptography. In this paper, we proposed an approach to hide the secret data in cover image: Firstly, encoding secret data using Huffman Coding; secondly, detecting the Straight Lines Pixels (SLPs) in a cover image by using Hough Transform. Posteriorly, embedding the encoded data in the SLPs by using Least Significant Bit method (LSB). The main purpose of this approach is the ability to increase embedded data in the image while preserving the image quality. The experimental results showed that the aforementioned proposed method is very efficient to hide data inside the image and provide a better Stego-Image quality.

The library procurement materials is one of the technical services activities in a library as an effort to provide information needed by librarians. in doing the calculation of the procurement book (stock) of in library Universitas Malikussaleh still not automated and computerized and common error occurred on the the given amount of procurement the library because calculation was carried out using the tools count, with the application calculation book of stock it would make simply in calculation stock in library of Universitas malikussaleh. This application calculation stock of book is using deterministic dynamic programming algorithm for calculation process, deterministic dynamic programming itself is a method with gradually solutions and every stage will get an optimal solutions. By using this method it would know whether are the amount of stock of book has been Optimal. This Research conducted by the writer in unit. The library of Universitas Malikussaleh are taking total which start in 2012-2016 and the result by using dynamic programming deterministic algorithm is 270,779 as the optimal solutions in 2016.

In the orthognathic surgery, dental splints are important and necessary to help the surgeon reposition the maxilla or mandible. However, the traditional methods of manual design of dental splints are difficult and time-consuming. The research on computer-aided design software for dental splints is rarely reported. Our purpose is to develop a novel special software named EasySplint to design the dental splints conveniently and efficiently. The design can be divided into two steps, which are the generation of initial splint base and the Boolean operation between it and the maxilla-mandibular model. The initial splint base is formed by ruled surfaces reconstructed using the manually picked points. Then, a method to accomplish Boolean operation based on the distance filed of two meshes is proposed. The interference elimination can be conducted on the basis of marching cubes algorithm and Boolean operation. The accuracy of the dental splint can be guaranteed since the original mesh is utilized to form the result surface. Using EasySplint, the dental splints can be designed in about 10 minutes and saved as a stereo lithography (STL) file for 3D printing in clinical applications. Cox's proportional hazard (CPH) model is a statistical technique that captures the interaction between a set of risk factors and an effect variable. While the CPH model is popular in survival analysis, Bayesian networks offer an attractive alternative that is intuitive, general, theoretically sound, and avoids CPH model's restrictive assumptions. Existing CPH models are a great source of existing knowledge that can be reused in Bayesian networks. The main problem with applying Bayesian networks to survival analysis is their exponential growth in complexity as the number of risk factors increases. It is not uncommon to see complex CPH models with as many as 20 risk factors. Our paper focuses on making large survival analysis models derived from the CPH model tractable in Bayesian networks. We evaluate the effect of two complexity reduction techniques: (1) parent divorcing, and (2) removing less important risk factors based on the accuracy of the resulting models. 2016 Microtome Publishing.
