Large Language Models (LLM) is a type of artificial neural network that excels at language-related tasks. The advantages and disadvantages of using LLM in software engineering are still being debated, but it is a tool that can be utilized in software engineering. This study aimed to analyze LLM studies in software engineering using bibliometric and content analysis. The study data were retrieved from Web of Science and Scopus. The data were analyzed using two popular bibliometric approaches: bibliometric and content analysis. VOS Viewer and Bibliometrix software were used to conduct the bibliometric analysis. The bibliometric analysis was performed using science mapping and performance analysis approaches. Various bibliometric data, including the most frequently referenced publications, journals, and nations, were evaluated and presented. Then, the synthetic knowledge method was utilized for content analysis. This study examined 235 papers, with 836 authors contributing. The publications were published in 123 different journals. The average number of citations per publication is 1.44. Most publications were published in Proceedings International Conference on Software Engineering and ACM International Conference Proceeding Series, with China and the United States emerging as the leading countries. It was discovered that international collaboration on the issue was inadequate. The most often used keywords in the publications were "software design," "code (symbols)," and "code generation." Following the content analysis, three themes emerged: 1) Integration of LLM into software engineering education, 2) application of LLM in software engineering, and 3) potential and limitation of LLM in software engineering. For several years, traffic congestion has been a major problem in big cities where the number of cars and different means of transportation has been increasing significantly. The problem of congestion is becoming more and more critical, and if not treated smartly this issue will negatively affect drivers by wasting time and fuel gas while waiting for hours in lanes. This paper presents a new and smart way to mitigate this issue in an affordable cost, minimum processing power, and low power consumption. This concept takes into consideration the majority of the cases that may cause congestion and presents a smart and accurate outputs to ease traffic flow leading to the prediction of the peak hours of traffic congestion for smarter control. A model is designed to study the case of a four lanes crossroad with two traffic lights and two LCD monitors. The strategy in reading data is divided into two parts: real data from sensors and pre collected data from google maps to create a kind of a predicted pattern over a certain time interval. The responsiveness of the system is analyzed thoroughly, and the accuracy of all possible cases is carefully considered and evaluated. Each part of the system was tested alone, and the overall system is still in an ongoing testing phase. The results have shown minimum faulty errors and accepted outputs that can lead to safe traffic control decisions. Finally, integrating more IoT devices and sensors between V2V, V2P, V2I with the help of artificial intelligence will definitely optimize this system with higher accuracy. © 2023 IEEE.

The number of electronic devices involved in cyber related crimes has increased significantly in the last few years. This is primarily due to advancements in technology and increased accessibility to devices. This poses significant challenges with respect to forensic investigations as investigators are faced with processing huge volumes of data from various sources within a limited time. Due to the urgency, frequency, and magnitude of some cases, investigators may miss deadlines, and crucial leads. In this paper, we consider these above stated challenges and propose a new definition for big data forensics, which recognises the time aspect and variety of sources when carrying our digital forensics. This definition will help digital forensic tool designers consider these critical aspects and design comprehensive tools to combat the limitations of the current state-of-the-art. We review an existing tool, the Forensic Cloud Environment (FCE), against the proposed definition. We show how its design leverages the power of Hadoop Distributed File system (HDFS), HBase, and MapReduce to provide a comprehensive solution for big data forensics. In conclusion, we provide an argument for FCE as a solution for resolving big data forensic challenges based on general Scientific Working Group on Digital Evidence (SWGDE) forensic principles. © 2022 IEEE.

Data visualization is considered the most efficient solution in IoT. It visualizes the endless stream of information collected by the respective smart systems to exponentially increase its value due to the meaningful insights it provides. Notably, numerous tools and techniques visualize the meaningful information obtained. It is, however, prudent that the analysis of this information considers the possibilities of anomalies within the data. The proper mechanisms must be implemented to detect these anomalies to ensure that the visualized information is accurate and reliable. This research discussion delves into reviewing current literature on the different tools and techniques that could detect anomalies in IoT. The review would reveal that the machine learning and deep learning approaches are the most-used approaches for anomaly detection. Several images would emerge regarding the visualization tools, including Grafana, Tableau, Orange, Power Bi tool, Kibabana, and Plotly. Tableau was identified as the popular and leading software used by numerous entities for visualizing the data in meaningful insights leading to powerful decisions. Some of its salient features include offering Api's and sophisticated developer tools such that different companies could use to meet specific needs, it has a less learning curve and has the ability to handle with extensive amounts of data generated in the network. Notably, the fusion of Big Data and IoT will continue to develop and advance both the existing and new visualization tools. These developments will arise because the IoT networks will continue to obtain data from various sources as the number of smart devices increases tremendously. © 2022 IEEE.

Smart cities have attracted extensive coverage from multidisciplinary studies, and many artificial intelligence (AI) solutions have been designed. Conversely, cybersecurity has constantly been a crucial issue and is becoming gradually dangerous in smart cities. The attack defence models are inappropriate for perceiving multistep assaults as the recognition rules are restricted, and efficacy is partial due to many false security alarms. Therefore, an innovative solution is immediately required to progress cybersecurity defence ability. Machine learning (ML) methods are commonly employed to recognize numerous attacks because they could help network administrators grab analogous initials to avert intrusion. This study presents Cybersecurity using a Crested Porcupine Optimizer Algorithm with Hybrid Deep Learning Models (CCPOA-HDLM). The foremost intention of this study is to improve cybersecurity detection and classification in smart city environments. To accomplish that, the CCPOA-HDLM method comprises distinct processes such as min-max normalization, improved Salp swarm algorithm (ISSA)-based feature selection, Multi-Channel Convolutional Neural Network - Recurrent Neural Network (MCNN-RNN)-based cybersecurity detection, and crested porcupine optimizer (CPO)-based parameter selection process. Primarily, data normalization utilizing min-max normalization is implemented. Next, the CCPOA-HDLM method utilizes ISSA based feature selection method to select optimum features. The CCPOA-HDLM technique employs a hybrid of the MCNN-RNN model for the cybersecurity detection and classification process. Moreover, the hyperparameter range of the hybrid of DL techniques occurs using the CPO technique. The experimental validation of the CCPOA-HDLM approach is performed on the UNSW-NB15 dataset, and the outcome portrayed a superior accuracy value of 99.04 % over other recent approaches under various measures. © 2025 The Authors

Natural language in social media is often ambiguous, carrying diverse perspectives that are critical for opinion analysis. With vast amounts of unstructured data, particularly on platforms like Twitter, it is impractical to manually analyse relevant insights. This rapid data growth has highlighted the need for intelligent filtering and mining techniques in decision support systems to help organizations build brand reputation, foster online communities, and enhance profitability. Multi-Emotion detection is key for capturing implicit user opinions and specific emotional states;however, challenges such as text bipolarity, limited representative feature vectors, and inadequate annotated lexicons often hinder accuracy. This research aims to improve multi-emotion detection accuracy by extracting emotion implied tokens and converting them into feature vectors that capture semantic relevance. Using annotated lexicons, word embeddings, unigrams, and term frequency, these vectors are trained across five machine learning models, which are Naïve Bayes (NB), Logistic Regression (LR), Support Vector Machine (SVM), K- nearest neighbor (KNN), and Multi- layer Percepton (MLP). Finally, two ensemble techniques are applied to refine model outputs, achieving an improvement accuracy over previous work worked. The proposed system, evaluated on a real dataset, achieves a hamming score of 0.55 and an average F1 score of 0.68, demonstrating its potential for effective multi-label emotion detection. © 2025 IEEE.

In the digital era, learning programming has become an essential skill, and assessing students' understanding in this area plays a crucial role in enhancing educational quality. However, evaluating subjective programming exam responses, especially those involving conceptual explanations or procedural descriptions, remains a challenging task due to the diversity and complexity of answers. Manual grading can lead to delays and inconsistencies in scoring. This research aims to develop an automated system for evaluating Thai subjective programming exams using Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to assess the correctness of responses. The system is implemented in Python, utilizing the ThaiNLP library for word tokenization, alongside Machine Learning algorithms such as Naive Bayes, Decision Tree, and Support Vector Machine (SVM) for classification and prediction of answers. The experimental dataset includes responses from 120 students who answered subjective questions about Python commands. Expert testing indicated high user satisfaction with an average score of 4.05. The findings show that SVM achieved the highest accuracy at 85.33%. This system can enhance efficiency and consistency in exam evaluation, reducing grading time and contributing to standardized scoring.

Millions of people across the globe were affected by this rapidly spreading disease by the year 2020. Contamination of the respiratory system results from contracting COVID-19. Nonetheless, establishing a conclusive diagnosis of COVID-19 may prove difficult due to the subtle differences it shares with conventional pneumonia and the complexities involved in identifying areas of infection. A growing number of approaches based on deep learning (DL) are being proposed for the automated detection of COVID-19 from CT scan images. By employing the data pretreatment methodology, unprocessed image data becomes prepared for further analysis. The proposed framework utilised transfer learning to construct VGGNet, which is capable of discerning the Covid-19 disease. The model was subsequently assessed in comparison to the most sophisticated models, VGG16 and VGG19, using the SARS-COV2 CT scan dataset. This dataset contains 1230 CT scans of non-infected images and 1252 CT scans of Covid-19-infected images. The model has achieved 99% accuracy, 98% precision, 97% recall, and 98% F1-score, among other performance metrics. © IFIP International Federation for Information Processing 2025.
