From the beginning,the process of research and its publication is an ever-growing phenomenon and with the emergence of web technologies,its growth rate is *** a rough estimate,more than thirty thousand research journals have been issuing around four million papers annually on *** engines,indexing services,and digital libraries have been searching for such publications over the ***,getting the most relevant articles against the user requests is yet a *** is mainly because the articles are not appropriately indexed based on the hierarchies of granular subject *** overcome this issue,researchers are striving to investigate new techniques for the classification of the research articles especially,when the complete article text is not available(a case of nonopen access articles).The proposed study aims to investigate the multilabel classification over the available metadata in the best possible way and to assess,“to what extent metadata-based features can perform in contrast to content-based approaches.”In this regard,novel techniques for investigating multilabel classification have been proposed,developed,and evaluated on metadata such as the Title and Keywords of the *** proposed technique has been assessed for two diverse datasets,namely,from the Journal of universal computer science(***)and the benchmark dataset comprises of the articles published by the Association for computing machinery(ACM).The proposed technique yields encouraging results in contrast to the state-ofthe-art techniques in the literature.

Smart agriculture is an emerging innovative sector that harnesses technological advancements like sensor monitoring, image processing, soil quality evaluation, and automated water systems, all of which contribute towards enhanced crop yields and superior quality of produce. With the progression towards automated systems in smart agriculture, the need for a robust data infrastructure that assures data integrity is critical. This demands an integrated approach with anomaly detection algorithms and a robust classification technique to ensure an error-free data pipeline. This study employs two distinct datasets to achieve abnormal image classification using a vision transformer (ViT) and a convolutional neural network (CNN). The primary dataset, obtained through direct collection from cotton fields in Karachi and Balochistan, Pakistan, comprises high-resolution agricultural images captured using specialised cameras and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The secondary dataset was sourced from a publicly available database. The two classification models, ViT and CNN, were applied to both datasets. These supervised models are primarily used to classify images as normal or abnormal. The results of the two classification models were also compared, with the ViT model surpassing the CNN model in performance and achieving the highest accuracy on both datasets. The Vision Transformer model proved to be robust for supervised data, showing remarkable accuracy of 96.00% on the public dataset, 99.18% on both camera based images and 97.56% on UAV images of collected dataset as compared to the CNN model's accuracy that are 82.00% on the public dataset and 98.36% on camera and 95.12% on UAV images of collected dataset. © 2023 IEEE.

This study proposes a novel nature-inspired meta-heuristic optimizer based on the Reptile Search Algorithm combed with Salp Swarm Algorithm for image segmentation using gray-scale multi-level thresholding,called *** proposed method introduces a better search space to find the optimal solution at each ***,we proposed RSA-SSA to avoid the searching problem in the same area and determine the optimal multi-level *** obtained solutions by the proposed method are represented using the image *** proposed RSA-SSA employed Otsu’s variance class function to get the best threshold values at each *** performance measure for the proposed method is valid by detecting fitness function,structural similarity index,peak signal-to-noise ratio,and Friedman ranking *** benchmark images of COVID-19 validate the performance of the proposed *** results showed that the proposed RSA-SSA outperformed other metaheuristics optimization algorithms published in the literature.

The fractional k-symbol Raina function (k-FRF) is convoluted with a class of analytic functions in a complex domain to build a new fractional integral operator (FIO) in this attempt. We research the polynomials produced by the suggested FIO in terms of their geometry and stability. On the basis of the Hadamard product’s characteristics, sufficient criteria are shown (convolution product).

Nowadays, the handwritten alphabet recognition system plays an important role in any language (English, Hindi, Tamil, Chinese, Myanmar, etc.). There is limited research on the Myanmar handwritten alphabet recognition system, especially on Shan State alphabet recognition. One prevalent problem in this area of research is that there is neither a standard dataset for the Shan alphabet nor any research on the Shan handwritten alphabet recognition system. To overcome this problem, this study aims to create an image dataset for Shan alphabet handwritten recognition. The dataset developed consists of 19 alphabet classes that are widely used to write Shan text in Shan state of Myanmar due to the distinctive orthographic representation of the Shan alphabets. This dataset was collected by 1000 Shan native participants of different age groups in Shan state. Thus, a total of 19,000 images were created for each class in this dataset. This dataset will be useful for Shant state alphabet recognition system in Myanmar and assist in natural language processing (NLP) based applications in Myanmar.

In the context of smart cities where green infras-tructure is incentived, besides important benefits like regulating temperatures and absorbing pollutants among others, tour by urban forests is a way to experience closer contact with nature near of big urban centers. Eventually, visitors get lost, and helping these people with velocity is important to avoid severe incidents. Normally, rescue operations mobilize firefighters, ex-pensive equipment like helicopters and public resources. Following that idea of reducing search time in rescue operations, this paper considers the Data Mule Routing Problem with Limited Autonomy (DMRP-wLA). To find high-quality solutions, this paper proposes an Ant Colony Optimization algorithm enhanced with Reinforcement Learning to create an adaptive decision-making algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.

This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of Natural Language Processing (NLP) within Human-computer Interaction (HCI) to identify trends, challenges, and future directions. Analyzing 1,710 SCOPUS-indexed documents (1983-2024) using a PRISMA flowchart, the results show that the United States and China are leading contributors. Key developments include emotion recognition, chatbot interfaces, and speech processing, highlighting NLP’s role in user-centered technologies. Despite growing applications, challenges such as reliability and ethical concerns persist. This analysis emphasizes the need for ethical frameworks and technological advancements to address deployment issues and align NLP innovations with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By mapping global research trends, this study provides insights into the transformative potential of NLP in HCI for developing inclusive and responsive systems.

HYBRID FIREFLY ALGORITHM AND SPERM SWARM OPTIMIZATION ALGORITHM USING NEWTON-RAPHSON METHOD (HFASSON) AND ITS APPLICATION IN CR-VANET

This paper proposes a new hybrid algorithm, combining FA, SSO, and the N-R method to accelerate convergence towards global optima, named the Hybrid Firefly Algorithm and Sperm Swarm Optimization with Newton-Raphson (HFASSON). The performance of HFASSON is evaluated using 23 benchmark functions from the CEC 2017 suite, tested in 30, 50, and 100 dimensions. A statistical comparison is performed to assess the effectiveness of HFASSON against FA, SSO, HFASSO, and five hybrid algorithms: Water Cycle Moth Flame Optimization (WCMFO), Hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization and Genetic Algorithm (HPSOGA), Hybrid Sperm Swarm Optimization and Gravitational Search Algorithm (HSSOGSA), Grey Wolf and Cuckoo Search Algorithm (GWOCS), and Hybrid Firefly Genetic Algorithm (FAGA). Results from the Friedman rank test show the superior performance of HFASSON. Additionally, HFASSON is applied to Cognitive Radio Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (CR-VANET), outperforming basic CR-VANET in spectrum utilization. Swarm intelligence is a class of nature-inspired metaheuristic algorithms, that is specifically derived from biological systems in nature with an emphasis on their social interactions. These algorithms have been primarily developed to solve complex combinatorial optimization problems and are extremely popular among researchers in metaheuristic algorithms. This is evident from the numerous published scientific papers describing algorithms inspired by biological systems, ranging from insects such as ants and bees to the largest animals on the planet like whales. All these algorithms share some common concepts and relationships that can be explicitly identified, named, and formalized. These shared concepts and relationships can be organized and represented through the construction of an ontology. The goal of this paper is to present a formal ontology that standardizes vocabulary, as well as a set of rules enabling precise communication and reasoning about these algorithms. Ultimately, this will improve our understanding, analysis, research processes, and utilization of these computational approaches. © 2023 IEEE.
