Detecting chewing is vital to tracking eating habits, which is necessary to preserve good well-being and health. Advancements in wearable sensors have recently enabled cap-turing a wide range of sensor data, including signals from inertial measurement units (IMUs) and photoplethysmography (PPG). This research presents a new deep-learning design that efficiently detects chewing occurrences employing IMU and PPG sensor data acquired from an early instrument. The design includes convolutional neural networks (CNN) and bidirectional long short-term memory (LSTM). The CNN-BiLSTM network presented in this study combines the advantages of both CNN and BiLSTM to capture spatial and temporal characteristics from the sensor data effectively. The CNN layers extract localized patterns and characteristics from the IMU and PPG data, whereas the BiLSTM layers represent the extended relationships and time-based changes in chewing behavior. By integrating these two formidable designs, our network attains a high level of resilience and precision in detecting chewing. We assess the efficacy of the CNN-BiLSTM network using a standardized dataset obtained from several individuals wearing wearable devices while engaging in eating events. The dataset comprises IMU and PPG sensor data that have been annotated with associated chewing sessions. The experimental findings clearly show that the suggested network outperforms the current leading approaches, obtaining an accu-racy of 98.18 % and an F1-score of 98.29 %, the highest recorded. The CNN-BiLSTM network performs better than baseline models such as CNN, LSTM, BiLSTM, GRU, and BiGRU, emphasizing the efficacy of integrating spatial and temporal modeling for chewing identification.

Data poisoning attacks, where adversaries manipulate training data to degrade model performance, are an emerging threat as machine learning becomes widely deployed in sensitive applications. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of data poisoning including attack techniques, adversary incentives, impacts on security and reliability, detection methods, defenses, and key research gaps. We examine label flipping, instance injection, backdoors, and other attack categories that enable malicious outcomes ranging from IP theft to accidents in autonomous systems. Promising detection approaches include statistical tests, robust learning, and forensics. However, significant challenges remain in translating academic defenses like adversarial training and sanitization into practical tools ready for operational use. With safety and trustworthiness at stake, more research on benchmarking evaluations, adaptive attacks, fundamental tradeoffs, and real-world deployment of defenses is urgently needed. Understanding vulnerabilities and developing resilient machine learning pipelines will only grow in importance as data integrity is fundamental to developing safe artificial intelligence.

Swarm intelligence is a class of nature-inspired metaheuristic algorithms, that is specifically derived from biological systems in nature with an emphasis on their social interactions. These algorithms have been primarily developed to solve complex combinatorial optimization problems and are extremely popular among researchers in metaheuristic algorithms. This is evident from the numerous published scientific papers describing algorithms inspired by biological systems, ranging from insects such as ants and bees to the largest animals on the planet like whales. All these algorithms share some common concepts and relationships that can be explicitly identified, named, and formalized. These shared concepts and relationships can be organized and represented through the construction of an ontology. The goal of this paper is to present a formal ontology that standardizes vocabulary, as well as a set of rules enabling precise communication and reasoning about these algorithms. Ultimately, this will improve our understanding, analysis, research processes, and utilization of these computational approaches.

Due to the rising cases of Covid-19 in the world especially in Malaysia, the impact had been hit hard for many people. Due to this all people must be isolated in their home. It has affected the well-being and working life of millions of people across the world. Due to this disease, the mental health among people has increased significantly for the past 2 years. According to MoH, out of 983 Malaysian students, about 20.4%, 6.6%, and 2.8% are experienced minimal to moderate, marked to severe, and most extreme levels of anxiety, respectively. The main stressors are the remote online teaching, and uncertainty about the future regarding study and career which can affect mental health. Thus, the main objective of this project is to develop a product that may provide different medication methods to its users by helping people who suffer anxiety, stress, and depression. We used aromatherapy, positive quotes, and music therapy in order to release stress. The user can also check his or her pulse rate by only touching the fingerprint through the sensor. The microcontrollers used in this project are Arduino Uno and Arduino Mega to build the project circuit. The experimental results can improve body health, mind and spirit which enhances both physical and emotional health.

A smart contract is a digital program of transaction protocol (rules of contract) based on the consensus architecture of blockchain. Smart contracts with Blockchain are modern technologies that have gained enormous attention in scientific and practical applications. A smart contract is the central aspect of a blockchain that facilitates blockchain as a platform outside the cryptocurrency spectrum. The development of blockchain technology, with a focus on smart contracts, has advanced significantly in recent years. However, research on the smart contract idea has weaknesses in the implementation sectors based on a decentralized network that shares an identical state. This paper extensively reviews smart contracts based on multi-criteria analysis, challenges, and motivations. Therefore, implementing blockchain in multi-criteria research is required to increase the efficiency of interaction between users via supporting information exchange with high trust. Implementing blockchain in the multi-criteria analysis is necessary to increase the efficiency of interaction between users via supporting information exchange and with high confidence, detecting malfunctioning, helping users with performance issues, reaching a consensus, deploying distributed solutions and allocating plans, tasks and joint missions. The smart contract with decision-making performance, planning and execution improves the implementation based on efficiency, sustainability and management. Furthermore, the uncertainty and supply chain performance lead to improved users’ confidence in offering new solutions in exchange for problems in smart contacts. Evolutionary algorithms are effective methods for solving optimization problems that do not require any special assumptions to find optimal solutions. Optimization based on teaching and learning has been parallelized using CUDA parallelization technology. The results show that the proposed parallel version of the algorithm is fast and efficient in teaching and learning phases.

An investigation area of interest including the use of blockchain technology to address Internet of Things security concerns (IoT). Despite the fact that numerous relevant ideas have been offered, there are few published works that provide hypothetical and information backing. The examination of model building and execution assessment is the focus of this research. First, an IoT security paradigm is outlined, using blockchain and the Inter-Planetary-File-system (IPFS) in a view. Many of the security risks associated with traditional IoT designs can be avoided with this paradigm, and framework execution is entirely focused on distributed large limit stockpiling, simultaneity, and query. In addition, the suggested model's display is evaluated using normal idleness and throughput, which are important for further investigation and enhancement of this course. The blockchain-based security model's feasibility has been demonstrated via analysis and experiments. © 2022 IEEE.

Sasirangan cloth is one of the traditional cloths owned by Indonesia and is a typical cloth originating from the province of South Kalimantan. This Sasirangan cloth has many motifs and is unique. Sasirangan cloth is also one of the potentials that can attract local and foreign tourists to visit South Kalimantan. However, in recent years, tourist visits to South Kalimantan have decreased due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Then it also has an impact on the delay in the implementation of the Banjarmasin Sasirangan Festival which is usually held annually. The next impact is a decrease in turnover and interest in shopping for Sasirangan cloth, so that employees who work for Sasirangan cloth craftsmen are dismissed and reduce people's income. So the purpose of this study is to report the results of the development of a Virtual Reality Game application called VR-SasiranganKu by integrating the interaction of Non-Player Character (NPC) behavior with the type of narrative in the simulation genre game. VR-SasiranganKu is recommended to introduce and at the same time promote Sasirangan cloth to users, then justify the reaction to knowledge and shopping experience, and evaluate user experience using the UX Honeycomb method. Respondents involved as many as 100 people who are local and national tourists. The results show that the interaction of NPC behavior can provide good direction to users regarding the introduction of Sasirangan cloth by presenting an appropriate interaction design based on the narrative and the theme of the NPC that has been adopted, the results of justification using VR-SasiranganKu can provide knowledge reaction and very good shopping experience, and based on user experience evaluation that VR-SasiranganKu has adopted a very good UX with an average score of 4.91. © 2022 IEEE.

The rapid growth of electronic commerce (e-commerce) has revolutionized the global business landscape, transforming the way consumers and businesses interact, purchase, and sell goods and services. However, this sector faces a myriad of challenges that impede its sustainable growth and development. This research paper critically examines the current problems encountered by the electronic commerce sector and proposes viable solutions to address these issues. The study identifies three major problem areas affecting the sector: (1) Security and Privacy Concerns, (2) Logistics and Supply Chain Bottlenecks, and (3) Customer Experience and Trust. Regarding security and privacy, the proliferation of cyber-attacks, data breaches, and identity theft has eroded consumer confidence, hindering e-commerce adoption. The paper aims to investigate the latest technologies and best practices, such as blockchain, advanced encryption techniques, and robust authentication methods, to fortify e-commerce platforms against cyber threats and safeguard user data. The second problem area, logistics and supply chain bottleneck, poses challenges related to order fulfilment, inventory management, and last-mile delivery. Through an in-depth analysis, the research proposes innovative approaches like utilizing machine learning algorithms for predictive inventory management, integrating Internet of Things (IoT) devices for real-time tracking, and exploring drone and autonomous vehicle deliveries to enhance overall logistics efficiency. The third issue addressed in this paper pertains to customer experience and trust. The inability to tangibly experience products before purchase, coupled with ambiguous return policies, often deters potential customers from engaging in e-commerce transactions. Securing Data in Multimode Fibers by Exploiting Mode-Dependent Light Propagation Effects

Multimode fibers hold great promise to advance data rates in optical communications but come with the challenge to compensate for modal crosstalk and mode-dependent losses, resulting in strong distortions. The holographic measurement of the transmission matrix enables not only correcting distortions but also harnessing these effects for creating a confidential data connection between legitimate communication parties, Alice and Bob. The feasibility of this physical-layer-security-based approach is demonstrated experimentally for the first time on a multimode fiber link to which the eavesdropper Eve is physically coupled. Once the proper structured light field is launched at Alice's side, the message can be delivered to Bob, and, simultaneously, the decipherment for an illegitimate wiretapper Eve is destroyed. Within a real communication scenario, we implement wiretap codes and demonstrate confidentiality by quantifying the level of secrecy. Compared to an uncoded data transmission, the amount of securely exchanged data is enhanced by a factor of 538. The complex light transportation phenomena that have long been considered limiting and have restricted the widespread use of multimode fiber are exploited for opening new perspectives on information security in spatial multiplexing communication systems. © 2022, CC BY.
