Recently, Behr [1] introduced a notion of the chromatic index of signed graphs and proved that for every signed graph (G, σ) it holds that ∆(G) ≤ χ′(G, σ) ≤ ∆(G) + 1, where ∆(G) is the maximum degree of G and χ′ denotes its chromatic index. In general, the chromatic index of (G, σ) depends on both the underlying graph G and the signature σ. In the paper we study graphs G for which χ′(G, σ) does not depend on σ. To this aim we introduce two new classes of graphs, namely 1± and 2±, such that graph G is of class 1± (respectively, 2±) if and only if χ′(G, σ) = ∆(G) (respectively, χ′(G, σ) = ∆(G) + 1) for all possible signatures σ. We prove that all wheels, necklaces, complete bipartite graphs Kr,t with r ≠ t and almost all cacti graphs are of class 1±. Moreover, we give sufficient and necessary conditions for a graph to be of class 2±, i.e. we show that these graphs must have odd maximum degree and give examples of such graphs with arbitrary odd maximum degree bigger than *** Codes G.2.2 © 2022, CC BY.

In this paper, the feasibility of using commercial power Silicon Carbide (SiC) Schottky diodes as a current mode ?-radiation detector have been examined. Diodes with almost identical electric characteristics are purchased from two different manufacturers, On Semiconductor and RoHM. They have been tested under gamma radiation exposure from a Co-60 source. The current response during irradiation has been measured for various dose rates with reversed diode bias. Investigated range of dose rates was from 0.258 Gy/h to 26.312 Gy/h, and reverse diode bias values were 10 V, 20 V, 50 V, 100 V and 200 V. Tested Schottky diodes produce stable current response for the investigated dose rates. Although the manufacturers are different, the results show that the dosimetric characteristics of these diodes have an excellent match. Sensitivity was proportional to the applied reverse bias voltage. A simple power-law can very well describe the dependence of measured radiation-induced current on dose rate. © 2021 IEEE.

In this disruptive 4.0 era, many generations are competing in creating a new innovation, it makes technological growth increase sharply, one of which is blockchain technology. This technology has ledgers that are simultaneously decentralized and distributed. There is a node that functions to record all transaction histories on the Blockchain with all different networks. Blockchain This is certainly a very practical and safe technology for the world of education, one of which is Gamification. Gamification itself means a concept that has layers of features like a game that is connected or integrated with the blockchain. Gamification provides opportunities for the world of education by creating game elements that focus on the orientation of creating new educational spaces. This study uses the analisis Gamifikasi method and SWOT analysis to determine the overall use of the system starting from the strategies, opportunities, strengths and weaknesses. With this research, it is hoped that gamification in the blockchain system can run optimally in improving the implementation of Blockchain technology in the world of education. The novelty of this research is to apply a concept that has a feature layer such as a game that is connected or integrated with a block chain.

In the last few days home automation is one of the biggest developments that technology has achieved today. Nowadays there are many products that control automatically, or by using remote control, or by voice commands too. In home control automation, we can control home appliances using a smart phone. The main focus of this automation research is that the system can control the status of the ON / OFF of the room lights and the door of the house remotely. In this study, we have designed and built a home control system with voice commands via a smartphone. The system consists of MIT App Inventor, Firebase, WEMOS D1 microcontroller equipped with an embedded micro-controller and Wi-Fi onboard shield, 4-channel relay used for three LED lights and one door lock for the house. The test results, the system can control the ON / OFF status of the room lights and the house door remotely well. This home control system is very useful in everyday life because it reduces human workload, saves electricity, and reduces worries about home security for people who work. © 2019 IEEE.

The appearance of tumor cell clusters in pleural effusion is usually a vital sign of cancer metastasis. Segmentation, as an indispensable basis, is of crucial importance for diagnosing, chemical treatment, and prognosis in patients. However, accurate segmentation of unstained cell clusters containing more detailed features than the fluorescent staining images remains to be a challenging problem due to the complex background and the unclear boundary. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a fused 3-stage image segmentation algorithm, namely Coarse segmentation-Mapping-Fine segmentation (CMF) to achieve unstained cell clusters from whole slide images. Firstly, we establish a tumor cell cluster dataset consisting of 107 sets of images, with each set containing one unstained image, one stained image, and one ground-truth image. Then, according to the features of the unstained and stained cell clusters, we propose a three-stage segmentation method: 1) Coarse segmentation on stained images to extract suspicious cell regions-Region of Interest (ROI); 2) Mapping this ROI to the corresponding unstained image to get the ROI of the unstained image (UI-ROI); 3) Fine Segmentation using improved automatic fuzzy clustering framework (AFCF) on the UI-ROI to get precise cell cluster boundaries. Experimental results on 107 sets of images demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can achieve better performance on unstained cell clusters with an F1 score of 90.40%.

The expeditious growth of the wearable and implantable body sensors and wireless communication technologies have provided both inspiration and motivation for increasingly development of m-healthcare information systems as a promising next generation e-health system. In m-healthcare systems, the authorized mobile patients with the same disease symptoms can constitute a social group to share their health condition and medical experience. The privacy of social communication transferred over open wireless channels is an essential system requirement. Furthermore, the m-healthcare system on contrary to the traditional e-Health system allows mobile patients to move across distinguished location domains during different time periods. The mobility of patients considerably increases the cost of key management in terms of communication overhead if it is addressed with a naïve solution such as treating as a leave in the old location and a new join in the visited location. This paper proposes a privacy-preserving scheme, which maintains the secrecy of patients’ personal health information using secure group communication in m-healthcare information systems while supporting mobility of patients. The scheme is highly scalable, and treats patients’ mobility with the minimum rekeying cost, as such efficiently preserve secrecy of communication between patients associated with a social group. The security properties of the proposed scheme as well as its performance based on simulation experiments are evaluated. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed scheme outperforms the existing solution in terms of communication overhead. © 2021, CC BY.

This paper studies the integration of modular arithmetic, matrix algebra and complex number arithmetic. It describes implementation strategies of matrix transformations for residue matrices over complex plane that can be applied in the computer science fields which deal with cryptographic applications for more secure. Their mathematical properties over complex plane are analyzed to apply in cryptographic matrix transformation techniques. A new implementation approach to Hill cipher is proposed using the residue matrices over complex plane.

An Empirical Study of Security Practices for Microservices systems

Despite the numerous benefits of microservices systems, security has been a critical issue in such systems. Several factors explain this difficulty, including a knowledge gap among microservices practitioners on properly securing a microservices system. To (partially) bridge this gap, we conducted an empirical study to manually analyze 861 security points collected from 10 GitHub open-source microservices systems and Stack Overflow posts concerning security in microservices systems, leading to a catalog of 28 microservices security practices. We then ran a survey with 63 microservices practitioners to evaluate the usefulness of these 28 practices. Our findings demonstrate that the survey respondents affirmed the usefulness of the 28 practices. We believe that the catalog of microservices security practices can serve as a valuable resource for microservices practitioners to more effectively address security issues in microservices systems. It can also inform the research community of the required or less explored areas to develop microservices-specific security practices and tools. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The diversity of personality possessed by humans makes one hesitate to explore the work that interests him. The world of psychology has several test tools that can be used to analyze a person's personality which is the end result of a test that is used to see a person's personality tendency and what type of work is suitable for the interest, where current state and private companies still use manual tests by making questionnaires or a series of questions which will be given to the object which is employee candidate to study. Then the questionnaire is filled in by each object so that the value is collected and recalculated, by using a manual system an employee will wait a very long time to see the *** solve this problem, a system is designed to facilitate the analysis of the personality of prospective employees and to place them in the positions or professions. The system was designed using the Edward Personal Preference Schedule method is one of the personality test tools that is able to reveal 15 personalities. Based on the results of the processed data there are 3 types of personality, the first type is a personality with the highest score, namely autonomy with a score of 18, the second type is affiliation with a score of 17, and the third type is domination with a score of 17 so it can be concluded that respondents X were advised to work in military sections such as the TNI. © 2019 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In outcome base education, we need to utilize students' feedback as one of the key inputs to determine the effectiveness of teaching and learning activities of a university. Analyzing only rating scores does not reveal the true sentiment of students. Textual comments are more reflected true sentiment of the students. This paper is to implement a feedback analysis system based on rating score and textual comments. We used two types of dataset which include rating scores and textual comments, respectively. K-means clustering algorithm is used to cluster rating scores. Classification models are built with various classification algorithms using labeled dataset that got from clustering step. For textual comment analysis, we used Naïve Bayes classifier to train a model and classify test dataset into negative and positive sentiments using 10-fold cross validation. We also tested the model to classify the unlabeled textual comments. According to experimental results, we found that Support Vector Machine gives the best precision result for rating score classification. For textual comment analysis, Naïve Bayes classifier gives optimum result. © 2020 IEEE.
