Accuracy in training sentiment analysis models for large number of review datasets is affected by the correct classification of sentiment labels. Improving the accuracy of sentiment labels, and text representation also affects the performance of sentiment analysis models. Deep learning methods have been widely used to solve various sentiment analysis problems. To improve the performance of deep learning in sentiment analysis, it is necessary to use the right labeling method and good text representation to be used as an embedding layer. This study proposes sentiment labeling using Lexicon and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) as well as used FastText as embedding words in sentiment classification. As a corpus, the InSet Lexicon Dictionary is employed for feature extraction. The sentiment data used is the reviews given by users on several applications provided on Google Play. The results showed that the LSTM network using Word-embedded FastText with a dimension of 300 words received a small error value of 0.111 with an accuracy of 95.55% for data labeled based on Lexicon. © 2023 IEEE.

The recent advancements in vision technology have had a significant impact on our ability to identify multiple objects and understand complex *** technologies,such as augmented reality-driven scene integration,robotic navigation,autonomous driving,and guided tour systems,heavily rely on this type of scene *** paper presents a novel segmentation approach based on the UNet network model,aimed at recognizing multiple objects within an *** methodology begins with the acquisition and preprocessing of the image,followed by segmentation using the fine-tuned UNet ***,we use an annotation tool to accurately label the segmented *** labeling,significant features are extracted from these segmented objects,encompassing KAZE(Accelerated Segmentation and Extraction)features,energy-based edge detection,frequency-based,and blob *** the classification stage,a convolution neural network(CNN)is *** comprehensive methodology demonstrates a robust framework for achieving accurate and efficient recognition of multiple objects in *** experimental results,which include complex object datasets like MSRC-v2 and PASCAL-VOC12,have been *** analyzing the experimental results,it was found that the PASCAL-VOC12 dataset achieved an accuracy rate of 95%,while the MSRC-v2 dataset achieved an accuracy of 89%.The evaluation performed on these diverse datasets highlights a notably impressive level of performance.

The self-attention architecture is also considered to be a significant contribution in sequence processing tasks. It has the ability to highlight the distinctive features of a sequence, has been very successful in natural language processing and speech separation. In addition, the intra- and inter-architecture of the dual-path bi-directional long-short term memory framework has been demonstrated to be very effective for processing extremely long sequences. Based on these properties, we design a core architecture called intra- and inter-self-attention framework. Parallel models is more efficient and stable than a single model. In this research, we propose a parallel intra- and inter-self-attention framework (PI2SA) for the cocktail party effect task. The experimental results demonstrate that our PI2SA is remarkably effective. It outperforms both traditional self-attention models and a basic intra- and inter-architecture. Our PI2SA achieves competitive results with state-of-the-art deep learning models on the cocktail party effect problem. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

This paper contributes a sophisticated statistical method for the assessment of performance in routing protocols salient Mobile Ad Hoc Network(MANET)routing protocols:Destination Sequenced Distance Vector(DSDV),Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector(AODV),Dynamic Source Routing(DSR),and Zone Routing Protocol(ZRP).In this paper,the evaluation will be carried out using complete sets of statistical tests such as Kruskal-Wallis,Mann-Whitney,and *** articulates a systematic evaluation of how the performance of the previous protocols varies with the number of nodes and the mobility *** study is premised upon the Quality of Service(QoS)metrics of throughput,packet delivery ratio,and end-to-end delay to gain an adequate understanding of the operational efficiency of each protocol under different network *** findings explained significant differences in the performance of different routing protocols;as a result,decisions for the selection and optimization of routing protocols can be taken effectively according to different network *** paper is a step forward in the general understanding of the routing dynamics of MANETs and contributes significantly to the strategic deployment of robust and efficient network infrastructures.

This study is trying to address the critical need for efficient routing in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks(MANETs)from dynamic topologies that pose great challenges because of the mobility of *** objective was to delve into and refine the application of the Dijkstra’s algorithm in this context,a method conventionally esteemed for its efficiency in static ***,this paper has carried out a comparative theoretical analysis with the Bellman-Ford algorithm,considering adaptation to the dynamic network conditions that are typical for *** paper has shown through detailed algorithmic analysis that Dijkstra’s algorithm,when adapted for dynamic updates,yields a very workable solution to the problem of real-time routing in *** results indicate that with these changes,Dijkstra’s algorithm performs much better computationally and 30%better in routing optimization than Bellman-Ford when working with configurations of sparse *** theoretical framework adapted,with the adaptation of the Dijkstra’s algorithm for dynamically changing network topologies,is novel in this work and quite different from any traditional *** adaptation should offer more efficient routing and less computational overhead,most apt in the limited resource environment of ***,from these findings,one may derive a conclusion that the proposed version of Dijkstra’s algorithm is the best and most feasible choice of the routing protocol for MANETs given all pertinent key performance and resource consumption indicators and further that the proposed method offers a marked improvement over traditional *** paper,therefore,operationalizes the theoretical model into practical scenarios and also further research with empirical simulations to understand more about its operational effectiveness.

Intelligent traffic control requires accurate estimation of the road states and incorporation of adaptive or dynamically adjusted intelligent algorithms for making the *** this article,these issues are handled by proposing a novel framework for traffic control using vehicular communications and Internet of Things *** framework integrates Kalman filtering and *** smoothing Kalman filtering,our data fusion Kalman filter incorporates a process-aware model which makes it superior in terms of the prediction *** traditional Q-learning,our Q-learning algorithm enables adaptive state quantization by changing the threshold of separating low traffic from high traffic on the road according to the maximum number of vehicles in the junction *** evaluation,the model has been simulated on a single intersection consisting of four roads:east,west,north,and south.A comparison of the developed adaptive quantized Q-learning(AQQL)framework with state-of-the-art and greedy approaches shows the superiority of AQQL with an improvement percentage in terms of the released number of vehicles of AQQL is 5%over the greedy approach and 340%over the state-of-the-art ***,AQQL provides an effective traffic control that can be applied in today’s intelligent traffic system.

The expanding adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) applications has amplified the challenge of identifying optimal solutions for resource allocation while balancing multiple competing objectives. As devices and applications proliferate, the complexity of resource management in fog computing escalates, necessitating advanced optimization techniques capable of adapting to evolving conditions and requirements. This paper presents a comparative analysis of two optimization strategies: Pareto-based multi-objective methods, exemplified by FP-NSGA-II (Fog Placement NSGA-II), a customized version of the Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II tailored for task placement in fog environments, and weighted sum objective approaches, represented by Time Cost aware Scheduling (TCaS) and Weighted Sum-Genetic Algorithm (WS-GA). Through simulations and performance evaluations, this study compares these approaches in terms of trade-off management, scalability, and solution quality across varying system workloads. The experimental results highlight the strengths of the Pareto-based method, emphasizing its superior scalability and solution quality compared to weighted objective methods, along with its enhanced ability to balance multiple objectives while maintaining solution quality. The findings indicate that the Pareto-based approach is particularly effective in scenarios with competing objectives, as it provides a diverse set of solutions that can be tailored to specific application requirements.

The use of covert communications has become more widespread recently as a solution to the information security issue. Information security can be partially solved by the discovery and creation of covert routes. Covert channel use is still in its early phases, even though information security concerns are growing as a result of quick technology advancements. As a result, several problems and concerns need to be resolved, and the future plan is foggy. This paper seeks to give a thorough comparison of earlier and more recent attempts in this field. It offers a survey of the literature on the drawbacks and gaps in conventional detection techniques, emphasizing the most recent techniques for discovering and creating these covert channels while carefully considering machine learning and deep learning-based detection techniques. Additionally, it broadens the topic to cover the crucial function that these channels play in technology. Timing channels, storage channels, and hybrid channels are just a few of the ways covert channels may be utilized to transfer data. They can be used to get around security measures like intrusion detection systems and firewalls. Additionally, they may be used to steal confidential data from a system, including passwords, credit card numbers, and intellectual property. system security is seriously threatened by covert channels, and more study on covert channel production and detection is required to stay up with the changing threat environment. © 2023 IEEE.

Lung cancer is a leading cause of global mortality *** detection of pulmonary tumors can significantly enhance the survival rate of ***,various computer-Aided Diagnostic(CAD)methods have been developed to enhance the detection of pulmonary nodules with high ***,the existing method-ologies cannot obtain a high level of specificity and *** present study introduces a novel model for Lung Cancer Segmentation and Classification(LCSC),which incorporates two improved architectures,namely the improved U-Net architecture and the improved AlexNet *** LCSC model comprises two distinct *** first stage involves the utilization of an improved U-Net architecture to segment candidate nodules extracted from the lung ***,an improved AlexNet architecture is employed to classify lung *** the first stage,the proposed model demonstrates a dice accuracy of 0.855,a precision of 0.933,and a recall of 0.789 for the segmentation of candidate *** suggested improved AlexNet architecture attains 97.06%accuracy,a true positive rate of 96.36%,a true negative rate of 97.77%,a positive predictive value of 97.74%,and a negative predictive value of 96.41%for classifying pulmonary cancer as either benign or *** proposed LCSC model is tested and evaluated employing the publically available dataset furnished by the Lung Image Database Consortium and Image Database Resource Initiative(LIDC-IDRI).This proposed technique exhibits remarkable performance compared to the existing methods by using various evaluation parameters.

The Android operating system released by Google in 2007 has experienced very significant development. In 2019, the number of Android application users reached 2.5 billion. One of the contributing factors is the nature of the android application, which is very flexible and easy to install. Users can download APK files on the internet. Generally, APK files are stored in archive format, so they are pretty easy to manage. However, APK files may be used to spread malware behind this convenience. This study aims to provide an overview of the process of planting malware/backdoor on Android applications and how to prevent it. This study initiated the injection of malicious code on five android applications, namely WhatsApp, Telegram, DroidCam, Fifa Mobile, and Tokopedia. According to the results, four applications were successfully injected, while one application failed. The failure most likely occurred as a result of the application's source code being obfuscated. Obfuscation is therefore strongly advised for Android applications to prevent code injection that could potentially lead to malware insertion. © 2023 IEEE.
