The transmittance properties for the stacked metallic sub-wavelength slit arrays were experimentally and numerically investigated. The calculated spectra based on the FDTD method well reproduced the experimental spectra. The details of the airgap space dependence were measured, and the characteristic behavior of multiple optical modes are observed.

In this paper we study an anisotropic implicit obstacle problem driven by the $(p(\cdot),q(\cdot))$-Laplacian and an isotropic implicit obstacle problem involving a nonlinear convection term (a reaction term depending on the gradient) which contain several interesting and challenging untreated problems. These two implicit obstacle problems have both highly nonlinear and nonlocal functions and three multivalued terms where two of them are appearing on the boundary and the other one is formulated in the domain. Under very general assumptions on the data, we develop general frameworks to examine the nonemptiness and compactness of the set of weak solutions to the problems under consideration. The proofs of our main results use the theory of nonsmooth analysis, Tychonoff's fixed point theorem for multivalued operators, the theory of pseudomonotone operators and variational approach. © 2022, The Authors. The new coronavirus has caused more than 1 million deaths and continues to spread rapidly. This virus targets the lungs, causing respiratory distress which can be mild or severe. The X-ray or computed tomography (CT) images of lungs can reveal whether the patient is infected with COVID-19 or not. Many researchers are trying to improve COVID-19 detection using artificial intelligence. In this paper, relying on Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN), we propose a Semi-supervised Classification using Limited Labelled Data (SCLLD) for automated COVID-19 detection. Our motivation is to develop learning method which can cope with scenarios that preparing labelled data is time consuming or expensive. We further improved the detection accuracy of the proposed method by applying Sobel edge detection. The GAN discriminator output is a probability value which is used for classification in this work. The proposed system is trained using 10,000 CT scans collected from Omid hospital. Also, we validate our system using the public dataset. The proposed method is compared with other state of the art supervised methods such as Gaussian processes. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time a COVID-19 semi-supervised detection method is presented. Our method is capable of learning from a mixture of limited labelled and unlabelled data where supervised learners fail due to lack of sufficient amount of labelled data. Our semi-supervised training method significantly outperforms the supervised training of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) in case labelled training data is scarce. Our method has achieved an accuracy of 99.60%, sensitivity of 99.39%, and specificity of 99.80% where CNN (trained supervised) has achieved an accuracy of 69.87%, sensitivity of 94%, and specificity of 46.40%. Software testing is a process of implementing a program with the aim of finding an error. A good test case is if the test has the possibility of finding an uncovered error. A successful test is if the test finds an error that was not initially found. One of the testing types available is black box testing. This paper proposes testing using black box testing technique. The black box testing method consists of several ways including equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, comparison testing, sample testing, robustness testing, and others. Among the many methods of testing, Boundary Value Analysis was chosen in this study. Boundary Value Analysis is a method of testing by determining the value of the lower limit and upper limit of the data that will be tested. This test is performed on the functions of Augmented Reality prototype of Indonesia fruit recognition by using the cloud method on Android mobile devices. From testing the distance of marker objects to Android mobile devices on cloud recognition using an Android camera shows that the higher the augmentable rating of the target image and the more the number of markers features detected, the easier the image will be tracked by AR. If the distance between the camera and the real object gets farther away, then the virtual object cannot be displayed. Testing with mobile devices using HSDPA, 3G and WIFI networks connecting a cloud database server to display virtual objects shows the average results of devices that use WIFI networks provide the fastest performance. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Indonesia had been suffered by earthquake and tsunami for many centuries. Since many lives have taken by tsunami strikes, alert and response system are very important as important part of Disaster Risk Reduction, especially in area with high population density. This research conducted in Kangkung fishing village in Bandar Lampung coastal area which is an earthquake and tsunami prone area. The aim of the research is to study alert and response of Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction. The research conducted by qualitative method and purposive-descriptive approach. There were 53 respondents which participated in the survey and interview. It is reported that 'Smart Resilient City' model suitable for community needs of alert and response of earthquake and tsunami disaster. This research meets conclusion that 'Smart Resilient City' model may become a great solution in Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction to cope with the hazard of earthquake and tsunami comprehensively and sustainably.

Performance comparison of partitioned and global approaches for weakly hard real-time systems

One way to minimizing resource requirements is through the careful management and allocation, in example, scheduling. Research on weakly hard real-time scheduling on multiprocessor has been extremely limited; most prior research on real-time scheduling on weakly hard real-time has been confined to uniprocessors. The need for multiprocessor is due to issues that impose limits on the performance of a single processor. As real-time application systems increasingly come to be implemented upon multiprocessor environments, thus, this study applies multiprocessor scheduling approach for verification of weakly hard real-time tasks and to guaranteeing the timing requirements of the tasks. In fact, within the multiprocessor, the task allocation and migration problems seem even harder than in uniprocessor case; thus, in order to cater that problem, the sufficient and efficient scheduling algorithm supported by accurate schedulability analysis technique is present to provide weakly hard real-time guarantees. The proposed approach involves the two existing multiprocessor real-time scheduling algorithms combining with the hyperperiod analysis and deadline models; weakly hard constraints and μ-pattern. In this paper, the Matlab simulation tool is used in order to validate the result of analysis. From the experimental and performance evaluation results, it proved that the proposed approach is satisfied the tasks deadlines with less number of misses.

The usage range of nowadays wireless communications become wide, all of the develop applications uses wireless communication which improve the mobility and improve the mobility of the network subscribers. As known that the antenna diversity scheme developed from 'SISO' to 'MIMO' that has a maximum capacity and ability to improve the communication quality with a good shields among the fading effects and other impairments. In this research work study and analysis to the antenna systems and antenna schemes was done taking into consideration the central antenna system and the distributed antenna system 'CAS' and 'DAS'. A Matlab simulation was developed to test antenna configuration system in term of effeteness of fading channel while using different modulation order.

Learning from natural bacteria flagellum, we demonstrate a magnetic polymer multilayer conical microrobot that bestow the controllable propulsion upon external rotating magnetic field with uniform intensity. The magnetic microrobots were constructed by template-assisted Layer-by-Layer technique technique and subsequent functionalization of magnetic particle onto the big opening of the microrobots. Geometric variables of the polymer microrobots, such as the diameter and wall thickness, can be controlled by selection of porous template and layers of assembly. The microrobots perform controllable propulsion through the manipulation of magnetic field. The comparative analysis of the movement behavior reveals that the deformation of microrobots may attributed to the propulsion upon rotating magnetic field, which is similar as that of natural bacteria. The influence of actuation frequencies and frequencies on the velocity of the microrobots is studied. Such use of polymer polymer multilayer tubular micro/nanoarchitectures results in significant savings in the processing costs and provides a simple and cost-effective fabrication route for the mass production of magnetic polymer microrobots. © 2024, The Authors. Fundamental investigations in non-locality have shown that while the no-signaling principle alone is not sufficient to single out the set of quantum non-local correlations, local quantum mechanics and no-signaling together exactly reproduce the set of quantum correlations in the two-party Bell scenario. Here, we introduce and study an intermediate hybrid no-signaling quantum set of non-local correlations that we term HNSQ in the multi-party Bell scenario where some subsystems are locally quantum while the remaining subsystems are only constrained by the no-signaling principle. Specifically, the set HNSQ is a super-quantum set of correlations derived from no-signaling assemblages by performing quantum measurements on the trusted subsystems. As a tool for optimization over the set HNSQ, we introduce an outer hierarchy of semi-definite programming approximations to the set following an approach put forward by Doherty-Parillo-Spedalieri. We then show that in contrast to the set NS of no-signaling correlations, there exist extreme points of HNSQ in the tripartite Bell scenario that admit quantum realization. We perform an extensive numerical analysis of the maximal violation of the facet Bell inequalities in the three-party binary input-output scenario and study the corresponding self-testing properties. In contrast to the usual no-signaling correlations, the new set allows for simple security proofs of (one-sided)-device-independent applications against super-quantum adversaries. Humans rely increasingly on sensors to address grand challenges and to improve quality of life in the era of digitalization and big data. For ubiquitous sensing, flexible sensors are developed to overcome the limitations of conventional rigid counterparts. Despite rapid advancement in bench-side research over the last decade, the market adoption of flexible sensors remains limited. To ease and to expedite their deployment, here, we identify bottlenecks hindering the maturation of flexible sensors and propose promising solutions. We first analyze continued...challenges in achieving satisfactory sensing performance for real-world applications and then summarize issues in compatible sensor-biology interfaces, followed by brief discussions on powering and connecting sensor networks. Issues en route to commercialization and for sustainable growth of the sector are also analyzed, highlighting environmental concerns and emphasizing nontechnical issues such as business, regulatory, and ethical considerations. Additionally, we look at future intelligent flexible sensors. In proposing a comprehensive roadmap, we hope to steer research efforts towards common goals and to guide coordinated development strategies from disparate communities. Through such collaborative
