K-Means is one of the popular methods for generating clusters. It is very well-known and commonly used for its convenience and fastness. The main disadvantage of these criteria is that user should specify the number of cluster in enhance. As a repetitive clustering strategy, a K-Means criterion is very delicate to the preliminary beginning circumstances. In this paper, has been proposed a clustering strategy known as Multi-dimensional K-Means clustering criteria. This algorithm auto generates preliminary k (the preferred variety of cluster) without asking input from the user. It also used a novel strategy of establishing the preliminary centroids. The experiment of the proposed strategy has been conducted using synthetic data, which is taken form LIyod’s K-means experiments. The algorithm is suited for higher education for calculating the student’s CGPA and extracurricular activities with graphs. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2019.

Knowledge Graphs typically suffer from incompleteness. A popular approach to knowledge graph completion is to infer missing knowledge by multi-hop reasoning over the information found along other paths connecting a pair of entities. However, multi-hop reasoning is still challenging because the reasoning process usually experiences multiple semantic issue that a relation or an entity has multiple meanings. In order to deal with the situation, we propose a novel Hierarchical Reinforcement Learning framework to learn chains of reasoning from a Knowledge Graph automatically. Our framework is inspired by the hierarchical structure through which a human being handles cognitionally ambiguous cases. The whole reasoning process is decomposed into a hierarchy of two-level Reinforcement Learning policies for encoding historical information and learning structured action space. As a consequence, it is more feasible and natural for dealing with the multiple semantic issue. Experimental results show that our proposed model achieves substantial improvements in ambiguous relation tasks. © 2020 Inst. Sci. inf., Univ. Defence in Belgrade. All rights reserved.

XAI refers to the techniques and methods for building AI applications which assist end users to interpret output and predictions of AI models. Black box AI applications in high-stakes decision-making situations, such as medical domain have increased the demand for transparency and explainability since wrong predictions may have severe consequences. Model explainability and interpretability are vital successful deployment of AI models in healthcare practices. AI applications' underlying reasoning needs to be transparent to clinicians in order to gain their trust. This paper presents a systematic review of XAI aspects and challenges in the healthcare domain. The primary goals of this study are to review various XAI methods, their challenges, and related machine learning models in healthcare. The methods are discussed under six categories: Features-oriented methods, global methods, concept models, surrogate models, local pixel-based methods, and human-centric methods. Most importantly, the paper explores XAI role in healthcare problems to clarify its necessity in safety-critical applications. The paper intends to establish a comprehensive understanding of XAI-related applications in the healthcare field by reviewing the related experimental results. To facilitate future research for filling research gaps, the importance of XAI models from different viewpoints and their limitations are investigated. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Skin diseases are the most common diseases in humans. The inherent variability in the appearance of skin diseases makes it hard even for medical experts to detect disease type from dermoscopic images. Recent advances in image processing using the Convolution Neural Networks have led to better results in diagnosing systems. We aim to develop an advanced diagnostic system in a manner that meets the requirements of real-Time and extensibility of medical services for skin disease detection. The proposed system provides offline diagnosis for the users who have not Internet connection or online diagnosing uses on-cloud service. The user captures the affected area and get the offline immediate report. The schema offers the users a communication window with dermatologists to get medical recommendations in addition to an online accurate diagnosis service. The new images that are labeled by dermatologists are used to retrain the model to enhance model accuracy. To maximize the number of users, the system is implemented in a mobile-based environment. With the growing numbers of portable apps, it becomes easy for people to obtain up-To-date data. Users are familiar with looking for answers from the virtual globe including health issues. The following experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method. The average obtained accuracy is 83% in testing cases. © 2019 IEEE.

This paper explains risk assessment for circuit breaker utilization by using failure modes, effects, and criticality analysis (FMECA). The circuit breaker components are divided into three main parts such as live part, operating mechanism and insulation, and control device. FMECA is analyzed to 4 groups such as finance, safety, environment and efficiency. Finally, criticality is categorized into 4 levels such as low level, medium level, high level and highest risk level. Data collection and analysis were performed. The results of the criticality analysis will assist in making maintenance resource management decisions in order to avoid damage to the system with efficient usage of available or limited resources. © 2020 IEEE.

In industrial domains with time and cost intensive manual or semi-automated inspection the demand for automation is high. Utilizing state of the art deep learning models for localization in vision-based domains such as wood log analysis, the precision can be increased while reducing the demand for manual inspection. In this paper a YOLO network is trained on wood log images to allow for detection of single wood piles in images with hundreds and thousands instances. Due to the high variability in scale and large amount of wood logs within the images, common YOLO architectures are not applicable. Thus, tiling is necessitated to implicitly form a multi-resolution image pyramid. Due to lack in training data, besides common data augmentation modelling of different seasonal and weather conditions is applied. The wood log detection process can be run on a client/server architecture to allow for both, preview and refined results. Evaluation on real-world data sets shows an log detection accuracy of 82,9% utilizing a tiny YOLO model and 94,1% with a fully connected YOLO model, respectively. © 2021 The Authors.

Researchers compared the classification and the clusterization of users of online course for the personification of the users’ information system interface. When interacting with control and information systems, users may manifest individual features, including implicit characteristics that may affect one’s results within the system. At the same time due to information system building peculiarities one of the most comprehensive statistics can be collected via e-learning systems. When using a course, the user leaves a wide trail of activity that may contain different information depending on the learning environment structure. Online blended learning courses draw the researcher’s attention to the impact of digital teaching models on students as well as its ability to adjust distant learning courses to individual students’ needs and differences. Information personalization is a highly relevant content presentation at the most individual level. Therefore, the task of personalization is to show users information that meets their needs and interests. With the increasing volume of smartphones, computers, and sensors in the Internet of Things (IoT) model, enhancing security and preventing ransom attacks have become a major concern. Traditional security mechanisms are no longer applicable due to the involvement of devices with limited resources, which require more computing power and resources. Ransomware is comparatively a new and cruel malware in cyberspace with higher rates of attacks around the world. Ransomware could encrypt entire data to make users unable to access their files and important information. In some cases, the system has been hostage completely by the hackers, and the user may receive a demand for ransom money using different resources o access of his/her own data/system. One of the problems associated with the Internet of Things is how to keep your smartphones secure and keep your data safe as most of the antivirus solutions are not useful in this case. This research concludes the impact of ransomware on the IoT, malware processes, and work on detecting and monitoring smartphone infections. The paper also discusses ransomware awareness to end-user with strategy to defeat it. © 2020 IEEE.

A Unified Graph-Theoretic Framework for Free-Fermion Solvability

We show that a quantum spin system has an exact description by non-interacting fermions if its frustration graph is claw-free and contains a simplicial clique. The frustration graph of a spin model captures the pairwise anticommutation relations between Pauli terms of its Hamiltonian in a given basis. This result captures a vast family of known free-fermion solutions. In previous work, it was shown that a free-fermion solution exists if the frustration graph is either a line graph, or (even-hole, claw)-free. The former case generalizes the celebrated Jordan-Wigner transformation and includes the exact solution to the Kitaev honeycomb model. The latter case generalizes a non-local solution to the four-fermion model given by Fendley. Our characterization unifies these two approaches, extending generalized Jordan-Wigner solutions to the non-local setting and generalizing the four-fermion solution to models of arbitrary spatial dimension. Our key technical insight is the identification of a class of cycle symmetries for all models with claw-free frustration graphs. We prove that these symmetries commute, and this allows us to apply Fendley's solution method to each symmetric subspace independently. Finally, we give a physical description of the fermion modes in terms of operators generated by repeated commutation with the Hamiltonian. This connects our framework to the developing body of work on operator Krylov subspaces. Our results deepen the connection between many-body physics and the mathematical theory of claw-free graphs.
