Light urban electric vehicles are an important target, both for the researchers and manufacturers. Concerning the motor's choice, more ways are investigated, but the most important is that as compact as possible solutions have to be used. In the top of the preferences, the permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) and brushless DC motors (BLDC) are situated. These are preferred thanks to their high power density, high efficiency and low maintenance cost. Even the main manufacturing technology and associated power electronics are quite similar, they essentially differ in the controlling technology, simpler and more advantageous being the BLDC. As integration technology, the in-wheel motor technology seems to be the one which improves the safety, efficiency, weight, controllability and finally the costs. Even the control principle is very well defined, the practical implementation can be different. The paper deals with four different control strategies for the BLDC motors. Resistance loss is one of the main parameters in the designing of slurry pipeline transportation,how to predict calculation accurately is an extremely important *** this paper,aiming at long-distance characteristics of iron concentrate slurry pipeline transportation,a new model based on the modified parameters of Fei Xiangjun resistance loss model and Durand resistance loss model was put forward,the modified model made a comparative analysis between data measured at the scene and results calculated in two models mentioned *** results show that the calculation results of the resistance loss using modified Fei Xiangjun are more accurate in the real operation ***,slurry flow rate and the concentration are both factors that would affect the pipe resistance loss were deeply discussed,which can give a reference in the designing of pipeline transportation.

This paper is concerned with finite-time chaos control of unified hyperchaotic systems with multiple parameters. Based on the finite-time stability theory in the cascade-connected systems, a nonlinear control law is presented to achieve finite-time chaos control. The controller is simple and easy to be constructed. Simulation results for Lorenz hyperchaotic system, Lü hyperchaotic system, Chen hyperchaotic system are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. © 2015 SERSC.

Modern cellular networks utilising the Long-Term Evolution (LTE) set of standards face an ever-increasing demand for mobile data from connected devices. Header compression is employed to minimise the overhead for IP-based cellular network traffic. In this paper, we evaluate the three header compression implementations used by such networks with respect to their potential throughput increase and complexity for different mobile service scenarios. We compare RTP, UDP and TCP profile compressions regarding their compression gain and complexity. Specifically, we consider header compression as defined by (i) IP Header Compression (RFC 2507), (ii) Robust Header Compression version 1 (RFC 3095), and (iii) the recently updated Robust Header Compression version 2 (RFC 5225) with TCP/IP profile (RFC 6846).This paper presents the performance evaluation of these header compression schemes for UDP, RTP and TCP, for both IPv4 and IPv6 streams in error-free and error-prone scenarios. A comparison between the Robust Header Compression methods and IP Header Compression is also provided. Our results show that all implementations have great potential for saving bandwidth in IP-based wireless networks, even under varying channel conditions. We also present for the first time an analysis of certain RTP header fields which, depending on the transmission characteristics, could have high impact on the overall compression gain. © 2016, Technical University of Budapest. In online business, it is important to construct sale web pages offering attractive services for popular products in order to improve page access as well as purchase rates. Moreover, online shop owners need to hold various types of (campaign) sales frequently throughout the year to keep customers coming back. Also, online shopping systems have to adapt to its circumstances such as customers' needs and the surrounding economic situations. To cope with these requirements, a self-organized IoT (Internet of Things) aware systems is proposed for online shopping. In our approach, awareness is achieved by monitoring/analyzing the data of user's behavior, in particular the eye gaze. The particular focus here is the analysis of the users' eye gaze with the objective to derive insights about products the user is interested in or not and adapt the system accordingly by presenting other products with similar attributes, hiding products with less interesting attributes and building a user's interest model by integrating all the positive preferences.

Solar flare has various influences on the global environment, in particular on the magnetic storm and the likelihood of natural disasters. Specifically, it may have serious impacts on the Earth such as failure of satellite communication and navigation (GPS), satellite damage, increased radiation exposure to astronauts, geomagnetic storm and aurora, and power plant failures causing more serious disaster. For a precise forecast of larger scale solar flares causing serious disaster, it is important to improve the space weather forecast, which is basically a daily forecast of the solar flare. In the work so far, a machine-learning algorithm called Support Vector Machine (SVM) was used to forecast the space weather. We extend this technology by integrating Genetic Algorithm (GA) elaborately combined with Case Based Reasoning for more precise forecast or imbalanced data classification. Finally, basic evaluation of this architectural idea called CBGALO shows it is promising in improving solar flare prediction.

Characterizing motion types of G-band bright points in the quiet Sun

We study the motion of G-band bright points （GBPs） in the quiet Sun to obtain the characteristics of different motion types. A high resolution image sequence taken with the Hinode/Solar Optical Telescope （SOT） is used, and GBPs are automat- ically tracked by segmenting 3D evolutional structures in a space-time cube. After putting the GBPs that do not move during their lifetimes aside, the non-stationary GBPs are categorized into three types based on an index of their motion type. Most GBPs that move in straight or nearly straight lines are categorized as a straight mo- tion type, a few moving in rotary paths into rotary motion, and the others fall into a motion type we called erratic. The mean horizontal velocities are 2.18±0.08 km s-1, 1.63±0.09km s^-1 and 1.33±0.07 km s^-1 for straight, erratic and rotary motion types, respectively. We find that a GBP drifts at a higher and constant velocity during its whole life if it moves in a straight line. However, it has a lower and variational velocity if it moves on a rotary path. The diffusive process is ballistic-, super- and sub-diffusion for straight, erratic and rotary motion types, respectively. The corresponding diffusion index （γ） and coefficients （K） are 2.13±0.09 and 850±37km^2 s^-1, 1.82±0.07 and 331 ±24 km^2 s^-1, and 0.73±0.19 and 13±9 km^2 s^-1. In terms of direction of motion, it is homogeneous and isotropic, and usually persists between neighboring frames, no matter what motion type a GBP is classified as.
