The problem of a control system design is discussed to provide an angular position platform stabilization. The platform is used to install various navigation equipment and communication devices. Stabilization of the platform's angular position eliminates the influence of vibrations of the platform's moving base on the operation of this equipment. The platform is equipped with an electrohydraulic drive, which ensures the horizontal position of the platform under conditions of vibrations of the vessel deck. The control system is designed in such a way that fast and slow processes are created in a closedloop system. The discussed approach to control system design allows to provide stability and robustness for position of the platform under vibrations of the vessel deck. The effect of the small parameters of the electrohydraulic drive on control system stability is treated. The selection of the controller parameters is carried out by additionally taking into account the sensitivity function, which reflects the influence of wave disturbances on the angular position of the platform.

This paper considers the method of cascading neural network modules to build the operating device of a specialized computing system. Each module implements some model of neural network. The cascade of modules is formed strictly in accordance with the logical links, found after the analysis of training samples. The structure of the input vector is fragmented according to the logical dependencies of the parameter set. Individual nodes of the cascade process certain fragments of the input vector, taking into account the features of neural network models used in them. The library containing the basic elements was prepared in the Quartus II CAD. The prototype with the ensemble of the main modules is implemented on the Cyclone III FPGA. Comparative assessments of the hardware- and software- implementation of the system for predicting numerical results in sports disciplines and multisport competitions are presented.

This paper proposes a novel game-theoretic decision-making algorithm for safe maneuver planning in highway driving. The problem is formulated as a two-player extensive-form game for safety between the ego vehicle and the environment (all the other vehicles around). In order to make a decision (i.e., plan maneuver), the ego vehicle builds a game tree in the current state. The tree is expanded for each possible maneuver of the ego vehicle and the observations from the environment. For evaluation, we quantify the safety value of a maneuver by computing and over-approximating its trajectory and checking for the worst-case spatiotemporal overlap with possible trajectories of other vehicles. The ego vehicle tries to maximize the safety value, assuming that others will act to minimize it. Among equally safe maneuvers, it chooses the one that travels the longest distance. The minimax solution of the game tree yields a sequence of maneuvers up to a predefined depth. The ego vehicle applies the first maneuver in a receding horizon fashion and repeats the process in constant planning cycles. For validation, we simulated highway driving scenarios and compared our minimax-based planning approach to a rule-based planner and an online look-ahead planner in terms of safety, traveled distance, and computation time. We have shown that our approach incorporates a higher safety level than the baseline planners at the cost of traveled distance and computation time.

An infrared solar spectrum observed by ground-based telescopes is seriously affected by the background radiation both from the telescope and sky,relative to the visible *** accuracy is also influenced by the spectral resolution of the Fourier transform *** the paper,we developed a CO_(2)gas cell and installed it in the sample compartment to calibrate the spectral resolution of the Bruker IFS-125HR at infrared *** measured spectral resolution is 0.00342±0.00086 cm^(-1)and 0.0059±0.00024 cm^(-1)at the wavenumbers of798 cm^(-1)and 2136 cm^(-1),*** also updated a fully reflective sunlight feeding system to observe the solar spectrum near CO 4.66μm and Mg I 12.32μ*** quickly pointing the sunlight feeding system about1 degree away from the solar disk center,we are able to measure the background radiation from the telescope and the sky at Huairou Solar Observing *** removing the background radiation,our observed solar spectrum at CO 4.66μm is consistent with that from the National Solar *** Mg I 12.32μm working line selected by the Accurate Infrared Magnetic Field Measurements of the Sun(AIMS)project is also *** method is helpful not only for the spectral resolution calibration and background radiation correction of AIMS but also for other infrared astronomical telescopes.

File labeling techniques have a long history in analyzing the anthological trends in computational *** situation becomes worse in the case of files downloaded into systems from the ***,most users either have to change file names manually or leave a meaningless name of the files,which increases the time to search required files and results in redundancy and duplications of user ***,no significant work is done on automated file labeling during the organization of heterogeneous user files.A few attempts have been made in topic ***,one major drawback of current topic modeling approaches is better *** rely on specific language types and domain similarity of the *** this research,machine learning approaches have been employed to analyze and extract the information from heterogeneous corpus.A different file labeling technique has also been used to get the meaningful and`cohesive topic of the *** results show that the proposed methodology can generate relevant and context-sensitive names for heterogeneous data files and provide additional insight into automated file labeling in operating systems.

Currently, cloud computing service providers face big challenges in predicting large-scale workload and resource usage time series. Due to the difficulty in capturing nonlinear features, traditional forecasting methods usually fail to achieve high prediction performance for resource usage and workload sequences. Besides, there is much noise in original time series of resources and workloads. If these time series are not de-noised by smoothing algorithms, the prediction results can fail to meet the providers' requirements. To do so, this work proposes a hybrid prediction model named VAMBiG that integrates Variational mode decomposition, an Adaptive Savitzky-Golay (SG) filter, a Multi-head attention mechanism, Bidirectional and Grid versions of Long and Short Term Memory (LSTM) networks. VAMBiG adopts a signal decomposition method named variational mode decomposition to decompose complex and non-linear original time series into low-frequency intrinsic mode functions. Then, it adopts an adaptive SG filter as a data pre-processing tool to eliminate noise and extreme points in such functions. Afterwards, it adopts bidirectional and grid LSTM networks to capture bidirectional features and dimension ones, respectively. Finally, it adopts a multi-head attention mechanism to explore importance of different data dimensions. VAMBiG aims to predict resource usage and workloads in highly variable traces in clouds. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that it achieves higher-Accuracy prediction than several advanced prediction approaches with datasets from Google and Alibaba cluster traces. © 2016 IEEE.

The proliferation of web services with similar functionalities challenges selecting the most relevant service based on Quality of Service (QoS). Skyline queries help by reducing the candidate pool, but the resulting service skyline can still be extensive, making selection difficult. A personalized Skyline service selection method provides a smaller, more manageable set. Current approaches often overlook inter-dependencies between user preferences, complicating complex preference management. This paper introduces CP-Skyline, an efficient method leveraging Conditional Preference Networks (CP-Nets) to incorporate user-specific preferences and personalize the service selection process. We present a personalized conditional preference model based on CP-Nets to prune candidate services and compress the query space, defining a new dominance relation for CP-Skyline computation, and validate our approach through extensive experiments on synthetic and real-world datasets.

Through the neural network model, the rainfall-type debris flow in Jiangjiagou is predicted. Based on seven meteorological factors with time series characteristics, such as daily rainfall, previous effective rainfall, ground temperature, and humidity, which have been screened by features, the Jiangjiagou rainfall debris flow prediction and early warning model based on LSTM-Attention is constructed. The results show that: (1) LSTM-Attention model is 0.02 higher than that of the Attention-LSTM model, and the prediction effect is better. (2) The prediction accuracy of LSTM-Attention model for Jiangjiagou rainfall-type debris flow can reach 0.88, which is 0.05, 0.07, 0.04, 0.25, 0.13 higher than that of LSTM model, RNN model, RNN-Attention model, SVM model, and BP model, respectively. Research results: It provides a new idea and method for the prediction and research of rainfall-type debris flow, which can be referenced by scholars. © 2022 IEEE.

Mobile edge computing (MEC), as a promising paradigm, delivers computation and storage capacities at the edge of the network. It supports delay-sensitive services for mobile users (MUs). However, dynamic and stochastic characteristics of MEC networks necessitate constant migration of installed services across edge servers to keep up with the mobility of MUs. As a result, the cost of maintaining the network increases significantly. Existing studies of MEC rarely consider the cost of service migration due to MU mobility. To minimize the long-term cost for microservices in a hybrid cloudedge system comprising of MUs, small base stations (SBSs), and a cloud data center (CDC), the total cost minimization is formulated as a constrained mixed-integer nonlinear program. To solve it, this work designs a novel meta-heuristic optimization algorithm called Multi-swarm Grey-wolf-optimizer based on Genetic-learning (MGG), which effectively combines strong local search capabilities of grey wolf optimizer with superior global search capabilities of genetic algorithm. MGG simultaneously optimizes service request routing among MUs, SBSs, and CDC, CPU speeds of SBSs, service deployment of SBSs, service migration cost of SBSs, as well as MUs' transmission power and channel bandwidth allocation. Simulation results with Google cluster trace demonstrate that MGG outperforms several state-of-the-art peers with respect to the overall cost of the hybrid system. © 2023 IEEE.
