The psychology of personality is a part of psychology analyzing personality and its diversity for the people. It’s purpose is to depict how individuals are pesonally various due to psychological motives. Personality type refers to the psychological classification of people into various classes. Personality traits are distinguished from personality types, that come in various degrees. Many theories related to personality are available, but most of them include several and sometimes many sub theories. Constructing the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and The Big Five (BF) personality traits is crucial in personality pyscology. Our objective is twofold. Firstly, it is planned to develop a correlation model between MBTI and BF personality traits and apply it to conversational interfaces’ language models. Secondly, it is aimed to extend this approach to time-sensitive design by utilizing fixed-effect analysis, which is particularly useful when analyzing data from multiple individuals across various time points. The results show distinct observations, as seen in popular language models like ChatGPT.

The emergence of e-textiles has facilitated impressive growth in the field of wearable technologies in recent years. Textile-based electrodes enabled long-period electrocardiogram monitoring within the health care field as they are less irritant to the skin and can be naturally embedded into the clothes. Beyond the specific health-oriented applications, physiological signals monitoring is also beneficial during other activities such as daily activities and sports. In this work, a system of a knitted t-shirt embedded with textile electrodes that targets measuring heart rate and respiration rate during various positions and activities is created. The performance of the implemented system is benchmarked against the performance of an off-the-shelf product using root mean square error. It has been shown that the proposed system can achieve good performance with heart rate respiration rate values close to that of the benchmark device.

Research in the area of knowledge management for improving academic performance has been on the rise in recent years. The effectiveness of knowledge management in improving the quality of decision-making in higher education is a new challenge in the drive for university performance improvement. Therefore, this paper tries to propose one conceptual framework used to measure academic performance in universities. By applying knowledge management process integrated with Business Intelligence System with data-driven analysis concept. This can provide new insights into the theme of academic knowledge management processes for future research opportunities. The model developed is based on comprehensive research developments on research trends and mapping of knowledge management articles and academic performance as well as a systematic literature review. This literature review examines the current state, clusters, and main topics of research related to knowledge management based on authors, sources, cited articles, countries of article authors, and journals that are productive in producing articles. Herein, 429 articles are utilized as metadata taken from the Scopus database published in 2018-2024. Hence, the data analysis of scientific articles is then reviewed using a bibliometric approach and article mapping with using tool VOSviewers to get a network visualization image. The findings of bibliometric analysis point to a rise in publications and a strong level of interest among academics in the field of knowledge management for performance evaluation in higher education institutions. © 2024 IEEE.

This tutorial paper introduces hybrid feedback control through a self-contained examination of hybrid control systems modeled by the combination of differential and difference equations with constraints. Using multiple examples, it illustrates the power of hybrid feedback control, which stems from the integration of continuous and discrete dynamics, where state variables update instantaneously at specific events while flowing continuously otherwise. The paper defines hybrid closed-loop systems as interconnected hybrid plants and controllers with designated inputs and outputs, and formalizes their solutions. It summarizes key properties of hybrid systems and reviews various control strategies, including supervisory control with logic variables to select feedback controllers, event-triggered control to minimize control input updates, and strategies using multiple Lyapunov-like functions for stabilization. Pointers to further reading and other strategies in the literature are provided. © 2024 IEEE.

Blood pressure estimation is crucial for early detection and prevention of many cardiovascular diseases. This paper explores the potential of the relatively new transformer architecture for accomplishing this task in the domain of biological signal processing. Several preceding studies of blood pressure estimation solely for PPG signals have had success with CNN and LSTM neural networks. In this study two types of transformer variants are considered: the time series and the convolutional vision transformers. The results obtained from our research indicate that this type of approach may be unsuitable for the task. However, further research is needed to make a definitive claim, since only simple transformer type are considered. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

The modernization of the information communication infrastructure of the regional data transmission network has advanced in order to increase the maximum transmission speed of existing transport routes, ensuring the quality of the service and its reliability. In the present research work, a new approach for the 3D visibility network algorithm has been developed, showing how graph theory applied to wireless sensor networks (WSNs) enables technological development for new solutions in areas such as public infrastructure. The possibility of determining in such networks whether an area of interest is sufficiently covered by a given set of sensors by means of the Voronoi diagram is discussed. The parking dynamics and parking system were modeled with cellular neural networks (CNNs) based on weather conditions, and magnetic parking sensors were replaced with pillar sensors. The proposed method has proven its effectiveness in determining the position of the minimum sensors covering the area of interest, in order to find a solution in the occupation of parking spaces in the presence of different weather conditions. The proposed approach and experimental results offer potential applications in various fields such as lighting and rendering, motion planning, pattern recognition, computer graphics and computational geometry, in order to conduct studies on problems and perspectives of pillar sensor technology while reducing costs compared to magnetic ones.

Indonesia's tourism sector, a cornerstone of its economy, has seen significant growth with both domestic and international tourists, drawn by its diverse landscapes and cultural sites. In 2022, the country welcomed around 10 million international visitors, indicating the industry's potential. In this context, employing artificial intelligence for personalized travel recommendations is crucial. This study proposes an innovative approach, converting tourism data into a bipartite format focused on the user-place relationship. We introduce the Enhanced Graph Convolutional Neural Network (Enhanced GCN), tailored for the tourism sector's complexities. Compared to the traditional Graph Convolutional Network (GCN), the Enhanced GCN shows superior predictive accuracy, reducing the Mean Squared Error (MSE) to 2.38. This advance represents a significant step in providing more accurate, customized travel suggestions. However, the current MSE suggests room for further improvement. Future research will aim to refine the Enhanced GCN, enhancing its ability to meet and predict tourists' needs in Indonesia's dynamic tourism environment. Ultimately, the goal is to use artificial intelligence to transform how visitors experience Indonesia's cultural and natural offerings, thereby bolstering the tourism industry's growth.. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper describes a Plastic Waste Hotspot Detection System which has been developed in an international collaborative research project to realize an 'Environmental AI-Human Actions integration' with marine plastic waste reduction actions. In this project, various local conditions are obtained to the system to realize an environmentally resilient society. The nature conservation activities such as marine plastic waste collection and reduction actions are implemented based on these conditions. In the process of integration of Environmental AI and Human Actions, the effects of these activities and activists' contribution to environmental improvement and global-scale knowledge are accumulated, shared, analyzed, and visualized through global-scale analysis. This paper describes the Plastic Waste Hotspot Detection system as one of the systems that integrate AI systems and human actions. This paper examines the feasibility and effectiveness of the system through the fieldwork tests in Phuket, Thailand and Surabaya, Indonesia. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, the design of fixed-wing autonomous UAVs is aimed. The goal is to lock onto rival UAVs during the competition, avoid these locks with aggressive maneuvers, and perform the designated tasks autonomously. Autonomous Aircraft System; It consists of a ground control station, ground antenna, controller, and autonomously operating aircraft components. In the declaration, the system’s performance features, mechanical and aerodynamic design, flight control systems and communication systems are detailed. In addition, the UAV’s autonomous locking, image processing and task performance capabilities are presented, supported by tests and analysis. The final system architecture and performance analysis results show that the UAV meets the design requirements.

In today digital era traditional manual attendance systems in educational institutions are both inefficient and outdated. This study assesses the impact of implementing technology-driven attendance systems developed using the Waterfall Model, which promises to revolutionize educational settings by enhancing operational efficiency and reducing administrative burdens. The research involved deploying automated attendance software across various institutions and comparing its efficacy with traditional methods in terms of time efficiency, accuracy, and cost. The results indicate that technology-based systems significantly reduce the time and effort required for attendance recording, minimize manual errors, and offer real-time data that helps quickly identify attendance patterns and issues. These improvements lead to enhanced student engagement and accountability. Moreover the transition to automated systems results in considerable administrative cost savings by decreasing reliance on extensive paperwork, thereby allowing for a better allocation of resources towards improving the educational experience. Ultimately, the study confirms that adopting modern attendance monitoring technologies not only streamlines processes but also enhances the educational framework, making institutions more efficient and responsive. This shift benefits administrative and educational outcomes and sets a robust foundation for future educational practices, highlighting the critical role of technology in advancing educational environments. © 2024 IEEE.
