The current development of Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technology focuses on several key areas. These can be briefly described in various ways, including the design of FFF devices, their print speed, workspace size, and the precision of the produced parts. Given the pace and trends in these technologies, increasing demands are placed on the materials used in FFF technology. This article describes the design and verification of the effectiveness of a device intended for the active cooling of the created PVB (polyvinyl butyral) material. The goal is to create a cooling unit capable of rapidly cooling the material over a significant distance, thereby stabilizing the filament diameter and preventing potential deformation in subsequent processes. The verification of the cooling unit’s effectiveness occurs at various cooling intensities, and, in conclusion, presents the results of these measurements and their impact on the stability of the filament diameter and the reduction of undesirable effects caused by uneven or slow cooling of the filament. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Museum ecosystems need digital transformation to provide value added to museums. This study discusses the digital museum ecosystem conceptual model based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology and the Internet of Things (IoT). The new conceptual model integrates three elements of the museum ecosystem, people, collections & infrastructure, and museum services collaborating and communicating to achieve outputs in supporting the achievement of museum organizational goals through IoT and AI-based digital technology. The conceptual model describes various forms of implementing IoT and AI in the museum ecosystem for museum management along with the value added or results generated for museum management. The development of this ecosystem conceptual model into a physical museum has an impact on optimizing museum performance by providing value added in the form of convenience and prosperity for users and various museum stakeholders, especially in Society 5.0.

Growth and development are events that every living thing will experience. These events are two events, namely growth, and development. These two events are related to one another, where growth refers to a change in the shape of the body, or cell size and effect change an organ or limb's function in its operation. Every parent must consider child development because this will significantly determine and influence how the child develops in the future. Measurement of height, weight, or head circumference is carried out at the Posyandu to aim that the development of children under five in an area can be monitored and make it easier to determine policies. The results of this measurement will later be recorded on a card called the "Kartu Menuju Sehat"(KMS). Technological developments bring about considerable changes in the world of health. This paper discusses the design of a head circumference monitoring system. The use of a rotary sensor is an option in designing a head circumference gauge. The measurement results using a rotary sensor show that the measurement accuracy is 100%. Testing the system with a black box shows that 100% of the structure built is acceptable and according to the design scenario. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Code review is considered a key process in the software industry for minimizing bugs and improving code quality. Inspection of review process effectiveness and continuous improvement can boost development productivity. Such inspection is a time-consuming and human-bias-prone task. We propose a semi-supervised learning-based system ReviewRanker which is aimed at assigning each code review a confidence score which is expected to resonate with the quality of the review. Our proposed method is trained based on simple and well-defined labels provided by developers. The labeling task requires little to no effort from the developers and has an indirect relation to the end goal (assignment of review confidence score). ReviewRanker is expected to improve industry-wide code review quality inspection by reducing human bias and the effort required for such a task. The system has the potential of minimizing the back-and-forth cycle existing in the development and review process. Design of mmWave Broadband Rotary Joint and 360° Beam-Steering Rotenna Based on Gap Waveguide Technology

This work presents the design and fabrication of a groove gap waveguide-based rotary joint and a rotenna (rotary antenna) with 360° mechanical beam-steering for wideband mmWave applications. The proposed rotary joint incorporates two WR-22 to groove gap waveguide transitions, connected back-to-back with an innovative transformer. A key advantage of gap waveguide technology is its ability to operate without physical contact between the rotary joint's components, allowing the rotor to rotate freely near the stator with an air gap, while wave leakage is suppressed. By replacing common coaxial connectors with standard waveguide flanges and introducing a novel transformer between the rotor and stator, we have successfully developed a wideband rotary joint suitable for mmWaves. To demonstrate the practical applicability of this concept, we designed a rotenna with 360° mechanical beam-steering. This design addresses the common limitations of electronically steerable antennas, such as limited steering range, gain degradation, and high cost and complexity. To validate the concept, prototypes of the proposed rotary joint and rotenna were fabricated and measured. The measured and simulated results show good agreement. The rotary joint exhibits a 44.4% fractional bandwidth over the frequency range of 35 to 55 GHz with an insertion loss below 0.68 dB. Additionally, the engineered rotenna demonstrates a peak realized gain of 13 dBi with no scan loss over the full 360° steering range. © 1963-2012 IEEE.

There is much biodiversity on this earth, some of it utilized for foodstuff and medicine. In Indonesia, some plants are utilized either in traditional or modern medicine, such as the Ziziphus mauritiana. All this time, to find out the types of Ziziphus mauritiana by using simple methods or only seeing them directly, many people cannot distinguish the type of this plant. Additionally, many methods have been proposed to identify plant types using digital pictures, but the accuracy results are still below 85% because the research carried out only utilizes texture features or shape features. In this research, the method utilized is a backpropagation neural network based on texture and shape on the GLCM features of these plants accurately.. © 2021 IEEE.

In this paper, we performed an analysis of the outage probability $(P_{\mathrm{out}})$ at the output of the receiver with selection combination (SC) with L branches of the wireless communication system in the presence of Beaulieu-Xie (BX) fading and BX co-channel interference (CCI). The mathematical form of the function for $P_{\mathrm{out}}$ as a normalized signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) was derived, based on which a graph was drawn for different values of fading and CCI parameters. The second part of the paper considers applying machine learning approach relying on ChatGPT with aim to enable fading type recognition based on $P_{\mathrm{out}}$ measurements, which can be further used in order to perform Quality of Service (QoS) adaptation by tuning receiver’s parameters.

To improve e-government services released by Communication and Information Technology Office of Samarinda City, each system needs to be able to interoperate even when developed by different developers. Interoperation can be achieved by using one data source which is API (Application Programming Interface) for general data objects such as announcements. Given this condition, API built by using microservice can support further enhancement even if API is developed by developers who use different programming languages. The result shows that microservice API can be used to interoperate in relaying data between e-government services and can be developed using more than one programming language and base codes. Further development of this API can be done by adding more data objects, using AWS Cognito as authorization management, adding AWS Elasticsearch to load and filter data, and by showing data objects in real-time on the front end. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
