Artificial intelligence(AI) is the key to mining and enhancing the value of big data, and knowledge graph is one of the important cornerstones of artificial intelligence, which is the core foundation for the integration of statistical and physical representations. Named entity recognition is a fundamental research task for building knowledge graphs, which needs to be supported by a high-quality corpus, and currently there is a lack of high-quality named entity recognition corpus in the field of geology, especially in Chinese. In this paper, based on the conceptual structure of geological ontology and the analysis of the characteristics of geological texts, a classification system of geological named entity types is designed with the guidance and participation of geological experts, a corresponding annotation specification is formulated, an annotation tool is developed, and the first named entity recognition corpus for the geological domain is annotated based on real geological reports. The total number of words annotated was 698 512 and the number of entities was 23 345. The paper also explores the feasibility of a model pre-annotation strategy and presents a statistical analysis of the distribution of technical and term categories across genres and the consistency of corpus annotation. Based on this corpus, a Lite Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers(ALBERT)-Bi-directional Long Short-Term Memory(BiLSTM)-Conditional Random Fields(CRF) and ALBERT-BiLSTM models are selected for experiments, and the results show that the F1-scores of the recognition performance of the two models reach 0.75 and 0.65 respectively, providing a corpus basis and technical support for information extraction in the field of geology.

Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are digital assets based on a blockchain and those are characterized as unique cryptographic tokens and non-interchangeable. To date, research into the NFT marketplace has been relatively limited. As it is an emerging platform with many unique elements, The NFT market has been impacted due to recent fluctuations in crypto-asset markets more broadly. This current bear market cycle has shed light on concerns around the value of NFTs, profit-based motivation, and environmental sustainability. However, periods of volatility and cyclicality are to be expected with any nascent technology as it develops a product-market fit. consequently, the appraisal of real-price for NFT collections is essential for individual financial security and investment making. In this study, we evaluate the machine learning algorithms to appraise their real-price based on NFT item's characteristics, market event information, and their rarity score data acquired by retrieved from the biggest marketplace OpenSea. Furthermore, the procedures were applied to meet the objectives of this study we built prediction models based on various machine-learning algorithms ranging from Random Forest, XGBoost, SVM, Lasso, ElasticNet, Ridge, Linear Polynomial Regression, TabNet, CatBoost, and LightGBM models. From the results, LightGBM regression model outperformed the other by RMSE around 0.905. The best R2 is only found in this model, which has a value of 0.917. © 2023 ACM.

The selection of an appropriate third-party logistics (3PL) provider has become an inescapable option for shippers in today's business landscape, as the outsourcing of logistics activities continues to increase. Choosing the 3PL supplier that best meets their requirements is one of the most difficult difficulties that logistics consumers face. Effective decision-making (DM) is critical in dealing with such scenarios, allowing shippers to make well-informed decisions within a restricted timeframe. The importance of DM arises from the possible financial repercussions of poor decisions, which can result in significant financial losses. In this regard, we introduce p, q-spherical fuzzy set (p, q-SFS), a novel concept that extends the concept of T-spherical fuzzy sets (T-SFSs). p, q-SFS is a comprehensive representation tool for capturing imprecise information. The main contribution of this article is to define the basic operations and a series of averaging and geometric AOs under p, q-spherical fuzzy (p, q-SF) environment. In addition, we establish several fundamental properties of the proposed aggregation operators (AOs). Based on these AOs, we propose a stepwise algorithm for multi-criteria DM (MCDM) problems. Finally, a real-life case study involving the selection of a 3PL provider is shown to validate the applicability of the proposed approach. © 2024 - IOS Press. All rights reserved.

Recognition of human activity is one of the most exciting aspects of time-series classification,with substantial practical and theoretical *** evidence indicates that activity recognition from wearable sensors is an effective technique for tracking elderly adults and children in indoor and outdoor ***,researchers have demon-strated considerable passion for developing cutting-edge deep learning sys-tems capable of exploiting unprocessed sensor data from wearable devices and generating practical decision assistance in many *** study provides a deep learning-based approach for recognizing indoor and outdoor movement utilizing an enhanced deep pyramidal residual model called Sen-PyramidNet and motion information from wearable sensors(accelerometer and gyroscope).The suggested technique develops a residual unit based on a deep pyramidal residual network and introduces the concept of a pyramidal residual unit to increase detection *** proposed deep learning-based model was assessed using the publicly available 19Nonsens dataset,which gathered motion signals from various indoor and outdoor activities,including practicing various body *** experimental findings demon-strate that the proposed approach can efficiently reuse characteristics and has achieved an identification accuracy of 96.37%for indoor and 97.25%for outdoor ***,comparison experiments demonstrate that the SenPyramidNet surpasses other cutting-edge deep learning models in terms of accuracy and ***,this study explores the influence of several wearable sensors on indoor and outdoor action recognition ability.

Graph-based or multidimensional blockchains have been proposed to improve the scalability and efficiency of existing blockchain applications. However, when implemented in mobile Internet of Things (mIoT) networks, these blockchain systems can frequently split and merge and cause the merging algorithm to process a large number of similar blocks (a block is similar or identical when it exists once in multiple blockchains). The presence of similar blocks hinders the merging process, as it consumes time and computational resources to scan, validate, and potentially merge similar blocks. This paper presents an efficient approach for merging graph-based or multidimensional blockchains in mIoT networks by avoiding similar blocks and effectively detecting and merging new blocks that were created after the split. Our proposed merging algorithm employs depth-first search and Merkle tree techniques to minimize the time and computational resources spent on identical blocks. Finally, we evaluate the performance of our method in highly mobile networks and demonstrate that it can execute the merge with a more than 72% reduction in time in comparison to merging algorithms without block similarity handling. © 2023 IEEE.

Recognizing and reacting to the emotions of others is a key necessity for successful human engagement since emotions are such an important and vital component of being human. Speaking is the most intuitive method by which individuals ex-press themselves. It follows that this communication medium should be extended to computer programs. Affective computing focuses on the automated perception, understanding, and synthesizing of emotional responses, consequently, speech emotion recognition seeks to recognize a speaker's core emotional state derived from the voice signal. The paralinguistic information conveyed by speech expressions has been identified to be beneficial in speech processing in a variety of ways, most notably as a significant component of computer emotional intelligence and contributing to Human – computer Interaction. In this regard, this study uses a spoken emotion recognition technology to deliver "Yet Another Mobile Net-work Tool" where 1295 primary dataset acquired from Bells University of Technology. The dataset consists of five emotions (anger, fear, neutral, happy, and sad) that were used for the experiment. The experimental results show that the study obtained a recognition accuracy of 85.5% and a rejection rate of 10.5%. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Beyond Euclidean Structures: Collaborative Topological Graph Learning for Multiview Clustering

Graph-based multiview clustering (MVC) approaches have demonstrated impressive performance by leveraging the consistency properties of multiview data in an unsupervised manner. However, existing methods for graph learning heavily rely on either Euclidean structures or the manifold topological structures derived from fixed view-specific graphs. Unfortunately, these approaches may not accurately reflect the consensus topological structure in a multiview setting. To address this limitation and enhance the intrinsic graph learning process, an adaptive exploration of a more appropriate consistency topological structure is required. Toward this end, we propose a novel approach called collaborative topological graph learning (CTGL) for MVC. The key idea is to adaptively discover the consistent topological structure to guide intrinsic graph learning. We achieve this by introducing an auxiliary consistency graph that formulates the topological relevance learning function. However, estimating the auxiliary consistency graph is not straightforward, as it is based on the learned view-specific graphs and requires prior availability. To overcome this challenge, we develop a collaborative learning strategy that simultaneously learns both the auxiliary consistency graph and view-specific graphs using tensor learning techniques. This strategy enables the adaptive exploration of the consistency topological structure during graph learning, resulting in more accurate clustering outcomes. Extensive experiments are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method. The source code can be found at https://***/CLiu272/CTGL .

Depression has become a major global public health challenge. Social media texts reflect users’ emotional and psychological states, providing a valuable data source for depression detection through natural language analysis. However, current research still faces limitations in modeling the collaborative representation of user texts and dynamic behaviors. To address this, we propose MVDep, a model that integrates multi-view features to enhance social text representation for depression detection. Specifically, we enhance text representation by investigating depression from multi-view, including social media texts, user profiles, and social behaviors, enabling more effective depression detection. First, we conduct initial filtering of social media texts using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), and then screen out the uncertain domain of data samples based on the three-way decision (3WD). Next, we extract quantified user profiles and social behavioral features to enhance the representation of depression tendencies for uncertain domain samples. Finally, we fuse the multi-view features derived from social media texts, user profiles and social behaviors, improving the model’s ability to detect depression. We evaluate our model on the SWDD dataset, demonstrating its superiority over state-of-the-art baseline models in depression detection tasks. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.
