Diffusion-based zero-shot image restoration and enhancement models have achieved great success in various tasks of image restoration and enhancement. However, directly applying them to video restoration and enhancement results in severe temporal flickering artifacts. In this paper, we propose the first framework for zero-shot video restoration and enhancement based on the pre-trained image diffusion model. By replacing the spatial self-attention layer with the proposed short-long-range (SLR) temporal attention layer, the pre-trained image diffusion model can take advantage of the temporal correlation between frames. We further propose temporal consistency guidance, spatial-temporal noise sharing, and an early stopping sampling strategy to improve temporally consistent sampling. Our method is a plug-and-play module that can be inserted into any diffusion-based image restoration or enhancement methods to further improve their performance. In The traveling salesman problem (TSP) is an essential and the most popular conventional combinatorial optimization network problem in operations research, in which the TSP evaluates the shortest route or path in a network. In TSP, every node has been visited only once, excluding the starting node. In TSP, edge lengths are usually expressed to indicate journey time and expenses instead of distance from a location. The exact arc length can't be predicted because journey times and expenses vary depending on the amount of payload, climate, highway conditions, and so on. As a result, the Neutrosophic numbers introduce a new tool for dealing with unpredictability in TSP. The present article addresses TSP on a neutrosophic network where the edge weight is a neutrosophic number rather than a real number. For solving the Neutrosophic TSP, an algorithmic technique based on the genetic algorithm (GA) is proposed. We created a new mutation and crossover for our suggested GA. We used mathematical examples to show the usefulness of the algorithm that we suggested. The results of experiments suggest that the proposed GA can find the shortest path in a TSP within a neutrosophic framework. In recent years, research has illuminated the potency of implicit data processing in enhancing user preferences. Nevertheless, barriers remain in breaking through the constraints of implicit information. This study aims to bridge this gap by firstly constructing a triangular stable node network model, tailored to manage implicit information with precision. Recognizing the challenge of pinpointing novel structures within large-scale graphs, we propose SLTSNN-a triangular stable node network based on self-supervised learning for personalized prediction. SLTSNN innovates by maximizing mutual information between graph-level and patch-level representations, while augmenting graph representations through extended enhanced representations. Additionally, it incorporates triangular data associations and introduces a triangular allocation attention network, which emphasizes strongly correlated preference features among similar users. Furthermore, SLTSNN employs contrastive learning to maximize mutual information between graph vectors and hidden representations, distinguishing between high-order global and local representations. The model's effectiveness in enhancing user preferences and capturing new graph structures is evidenced by its performance on hit rate and normalized discounted cumulative gain metrics across three datasets. © 2025 IEEE.

This research explores a new finite element model for the free vibration analysis of bi-directional functionally graded (BDFG) beams. The model is based on an efficient higher-order shear deformation beam theory that incorporates a trigonometric warping function for both transverse shear deformation and stress to guarantee traction-free boundary conditions without the necessity of shear correction factors. The proposed two-node beam element has three degrees of freedom per node, and the inter-element continuity is retained using both C1 and C0 continuities for kinematics variables. In addition, the mechanical properties of the (BDFG) beam vary gradually and smoothly in both the in-plane and out-of-plane beam’s directions according to an exponential power-law distribution. The highly elevated performance of the developed model is shown by comparing it to conceptual frameworks and solution procedures. Detailed numerical investigations are also conducted to examine the impact of boundary conditions, the bi-directional gradient indices, and the slenderness ratio on the free vibration response of BDFG beams. The suggested finite element beam model is an excellent potential tool for the design and the mechanical behavior estimation of BDFG structures. © 2024 Techno-Press, Ltd.

DasAtom: A Divide-and-Shuttle Atom Approach to Quantum Circuit Transformation

Neutral atom (NA) quantum systems are emerging as a leading platform for quantum computation, offering superior or competitive qubit count and gate fidelity compared to superconducting circuits and ion traps. However, the unique features of NA devices, such as long-range interactions, long qubit coherence time, and the ability to physically move qubits, present distinct challenges for quantum circuit compilation. In this paper, we introduce DasAtom, a novel divide-and-shuttle atom approach designed to optimise quantum circuit transformation for NA devices by leveraging these capabilities. DasAtom partitions circuits into subcircuits, each associated with a qubit mapping that allows all gates within the subcircuit to be directly executed. The algorithm then shuttles atoms to transition seamlessly from one mapping to the next, enhancing both execution efficiency and overall fidelity. For a 30-qubit Quantum Fourier Transform (QFT), DasAtom achieves a 415.8x improvement in fidelity over the move-based algorithm Enola and a 10.6x improvement over the SWAP-based algorithm Tetris. Notably, this improvement is expected to increase exponentially with the number of qubits, positioning DasAtom as a highly promising solution for scaling quantum computation on NA platforms. © 1982-2012 IEEE.

The International Classification of Diseases (ICD) coding assigns standardized codes to diseases. Automating this process enhances the efficiency and accuracy of clinical records processing. However, current methods struggle with noisy and lengthy clinical texts, making it difficult to ensure the reliability of feature extraction. Furthermore, they typically make separate binary predictions for each code, overlooking the dependencies between them. To address these issues, we propose a novel model called Hierarchical Feature Optimization and Rescorer (HiRes). We employ a cascaded convolution architecture to mitigate noise and enhance feature representation. Additionally, a masked autoencoder-based rescorer is introduced to capture ICD code interdependencies, refining initial predictions for improved accuracy. The model also considers the inconsistencies in code representations. Experiments on the MIMIC datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of our model. © 2025 IEEE.

Federated learning (FL) has been widely applied in medical field, which allows clients to collaboratively train global models without sharing local data. Nevertheless, the diversity and scarcity of samples from rare diseases may result in a decline in the performance of local models on client-side due to using a singular global model. Moreover, direct transmission of local models or parameters will likely lead to user privacy violations. To solve these problems, we propose a Grouped Federated Meta-Learning (GrFML) method to improve the performance of local personalization models while protecting data privacy. Specifically, we first utilize a self-attention mechanism to extract partial features from the client’s local data, which are uploaded to the server (medical data is susceptible to perturbation and data integrity, thus this process does not expose the private data). The server groups clients with similar features based on these extracted features. Then, multiple meta-models are trained on these groups and distributed back to the clients to enhance the performance of the client’s local models. Furthermore, during the FL process, we introduce dynamic perturbation to the uploaded gradients based on the model’s test accuracy to protect their privacy. Typically, the perturbation magnitude is directly proportional to the model’s test accuracy. Extensive experiments shown that the GrFML model significantly improves client personalization model accuracy and achieves a good privacy-utility trade-off.

Alzheimer's disease is the primary cause of dementia. Due to the sluggish rate of progression of Alzheimer's disease, individuals have the opportunity to start receiving therapy early through routine testing. procedures since they are pricy and difficult to find. For many slowly advancing disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease (AD), the capacity to recognise changes in disease progression is essential. Machine learning methods with a high degree of modularity were used throughout the pipeline. We propose the use of Neutrosophic hidden Markov models (NHMMs) to simulate disease progression in a more thorough manner than the clinical phases of the disease. Due to the complexity and ambiguity of reality, decision-makers find it challenging to draw conclusions from precise data. Since they cannot be computed directly, the variables are encoded using a single interval Neutrosophic set. We showed that the trained HMM can imitate sickness development more accurately than the commonly acknowledged clinical phases. © (2023). All Rights Reserved.
