The aim of this work is to study two classes of stochastic fractional differential equations via the application of the method of upper and lower solutions combined with the Arzela-Ascoli theorem. We begin by proving an auxiliary result for the integral representation of an Airy-type stochastic problem. The specific symmetry features of an Airy-type stochastic problem depend on the form of the stochastic differential equations (SDE) and the relevant coefficients, it is vital to note. To comprehend each issue’s unique symmetries and their effects, a thorough investigation is necessary. Then, we prove an existence result for extremal solutions for the same problem. Another class of stochastic equations of higher-order type is also studied. We also present some examples to show the validity of the obtained results. The rapid development of photo-realistic face generation methods has raised significant concerns in society and academia, highlighting the urgent need for robust and generalizable face forgery detection (FFD) techniques. Although existing approaches mainly capture face forgery patterns using image modality, other modalities like fine-grained noises and texts are not fully explored, which limits the generalization capability of the model. In addition, most FFD methods tend to identify facial images generated by GAN, but struggle to detect unseen diffusion-synthesized ones. To address the limitations, we aim to leverage the cutting-edge foundation model, contrastive language-image pre-training (CLIP), to achieve generalizable diffusion face forgery detection (DFFD). In this paper, we propose a novel multi-modal fine-grained CLIP (MFCLIP) model, which mines comprehensive and fine-grained forgery traces across image-noise modalities via language-guided face forgery representation learning, to facilitate the advancement of DFFD. Specifically, we devise a fine-grained language encoder (FLE) that extracts fine global language features from hierarchical text prompts. We design a multi-modal vision encoder (MVE) to capture global image forgery embeddings as well as fine-grained noise forgery patterns extracted from the richest patch, and integrate them to mine general visual forgery traces. Moreover, we build an innovative plug-and-play sample pair attention (SPA) method to emphasize relevant negative pairs and suppress irrelevant ones, allowing cross-modality sample pairs to conduct more flexible alignment. Extensive experiments and visualizations show that our model outperforms the state of the arts on different settings like cross-generator, cross-forgery, and cross-dataset evaluations. © 2005-2012 IEEE.

In the few-shot hyperspectral image (HSI) classification, most current models don't fully utilize the advantage of spectral-spatial feature fusion, resulting in low classification accuracy. Therefore, we propose a few-shot HSI classification model with spectral-spatial feature fusion based on fuzzy broad learning system (FBLS) (FSFBLS). Firstly, we use a Gaussian filter to suppress noise while smoothing spectral features based on spatial information to achieve the first fusion of spectral-spatial features. Secondly, we use FBLS with fuzzy rules to fully model the complex mapping relationship between spectral-spatial features and HSI labels to complete HSI classification. The fuzzy processing can extract rich discriminative features to enhance the recognition of different categories. Finally, the guided filter corrects the misclassified samples of FBLS based on the guided image to achieve the second fusion of spectral-spatial features. Extensive experimental results on three public datasets demonstrate that FSFBLS achieves state-of-the-art classification performance compared to nine popular models.

Fingerprint Presentation Attack Detector Using Global-Local Model

The vulnerability of automated fingerprint recognition systems (AFRSs) to presentation attacks (PAs) promotes the vigorous development of PA detection (PAD) technology. However, PAD methods have been limited by information loss and poor generalization ability, resulting in new PA materials and fingerprint sensors. This paper thus proposes a global-local model-based PAD (RTK-PAD) method to overcome those limitations to some extent. The proposed method consists of three modules, called: 1) the global module;2) the local module;and 3) the rethinking module. By adopting the cut-out-based global module, a global spoofness score predicted from nonlocal features of the entire fingerprint images can be achieved. While by using the texture in-painting-based local module, a local spoofness score predicted from fingerprint patches is obtained. The two modules are not independent but connected through our proposed rethinking module by localizing two discriminative patches for the local module based on the global spoofness score. Finally, the fusion spoofness score by averaging the global and local spoofness scores is used for PAD. Our experimental results evaluated on LivDet 2017 show that the proposed RTK-PAD can achieve an average classification error (ACE) of 2.28% and a true detection rate (TDR) of 91.19% when the false detection rate (FDR) equals 1.0%, which significantly outperformed the state-of-the-art methods by ∼10% in terms of TDR (91.19% versus 80.74%). The role that visual discriminative ability plays among giant pandas in social communication and individual discrimination has received less attention than olfactory and auditory ***,we used an eye-tracker technology to investigate pupil fixation patterns for 8 captive male giant pandas Ailuropoda *** paired images(N=26)of conspecifics against:1)sympatric predators(gray wolves and tigers),and non-threatening sympatric species(golden pheasant,golden snub-nosed monkey,takin,and red panda),2)conspecifics with atypical fur colora-tion(albino and brown),and 3)zookeepers/non-zookeepers wearing either work uniform or plain *** each session,we tracked the pan-da's pupil movements and measured pupil first fixation point(FFP),fixation latency,total fixation count(TFC),and duration(TFD)of attention to each ***,pandas exhibited similar attention(FFPs and TFCs)to images of predators and non-threatening sympatric *** of golden pheasant,snub-nosed monkey,and tiger received less attention(TFD)than images of conspecifics,whereas images of takin and red panda received more attention,suggesting a greater alertness to habitat or food competitors than to potential ***'TFCs were greater for images of black-white conspecifics than for albino or brown phenotypes,implying that familiar color elicited more *** reacted differently to images of men versus *** images of women only,pandas gave more attention(TFC)to familiar combinations(uniformed zookeepers and plain-clothed non-zookeepers),consistent with the familiarity *** pandas can use visual perception to discriminate intra-specifically and inter-specifically,including details of human appearance,has applications for panda conservation and captive husbandry.

In the interdisciplinary field spanning computer vision and art, text-guided image generation techniques have garnered significant attention, particularly in the realms of virtual try-ons and fashion design. Current approaches to text-guided image generation primarily utilize latent space encoding and alignment of text-image feature spaces, which prove effective in general scenarios. However, when tasked with generating images possessing specific fashion attributes, these methods often result in semantic inconsistencies and missing details in the generated clothing images. To address this challenge, this work presents an effective text-guided image generation method based on cross-modal fashion style learning. First, the fashion text encoding module is constructed to represent the input text description as global-local text descriptors to obtain fashion features. Then, a clothing image style representation module is designed to extract coarse-grained, fine-grained, and hierarchical latent features from the input texture patterns and clothing images. Finally, a cross-modal fashion style learning block, integrating the fashion mapping network and the generative adversarial network, is utilized to reinforce semantic consistency and yield clothing images with intricate details. Extensive experiments conducted on the Viton-HD dataset validate that the proposed method significantly outperforms other state-of-the-art approaches, achieving an initial IS score of 5.22 and a Fréchet Inception Distance (FID) of 16.35. Ablation studies and comparative analysis further demonstrate the potential application of our method, specifically in improving the semantic consistency between fashion texts and generated images, as well as enhancing fashion details in the generated images.

When the Convolutional neural network (CNN) has been introduced for computer vision, many researches use CNN-based model to perform salient object detection (SOD). In recent years, The feature pyramid network (FPN) based structure is more popular for salient object detection tasks. In this paper, to improve the overall performance of salient object detection tasks, we propose a dual attention aggregating network (DAANet), which is an FPN-based deep convolutional neural network with a dual attention aggregation module (DAAM) and dilated refinement block (DRB). The DRB module uses convolutions with different dilation rates to expand the receptive field. The DAAM considers the salient map prediction from the low-level output as pseudo-attention which can efficiently aggregate multi-scale information. The convolution block attention module (CBAM) in DAAM can refine the aggregation of pseudo-attention which enables better performance. We evaluate DAANet on six benchmark datasets that prove the effectiveness of DAANet and its components. Our implementation can be found at: https://***/Att100/DAANet. © 2023 IEEE.

In a learning management system (LMS), the tutor does not interact with the students in person to interpret their reactions and grimaces or to determine the level of course assimilation. As a result, analyzing learners' behavior and traces in an e-learning environment has become necessary for tutors or teachers to assist their students. Many researchers argue that learners' learning styles are an important factor to consider in LMS. These learning styles enable students to tailor their learning to their specific environment. Every learner has a unique learning style and way of perceiving, processing, retaining, and comprehending new information. This approach, which is based on the analysis of learners' interaction traces in LMS, gives teachers a sense of their students' behavior and identifies their learning styles. Our method has demonstrated an accuracy rate of 80% in detecting learning styles, significantly enhancing engagement and motivation. By tailoring content, activities, and assessments to match each student's preferences, we can adapt interventions dynamically.

The transformers have achieved significant accomplishments in the natural language processing as its outstanding parallel processing capabilities and highly flexible attention mechanism. In addition, increasing studies based on transformers have been proposed to model single-cell data. In this review, we attempt to systematically summarize the single-cell language models and applications based on transformers. First, we provide a detailed introduction about the structure and principles of transformers. Then, we review the single-cell language models and large language models for single-cell data analysis. Moreover, we explore the datasets and applications of single-cell language models in downstream tasks such as batch correction, cell clustering, cell type annotation, gene regulatory network inference and perturbation response. Further, we discuss the challenges of single-cell language models and provide promising research directions. We hope this review will serve as an up-to-date reference for researchers interested in the direction of single-cell language models. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Many applications need to meet diverse requirements of a large-scale distributed user *** challenges the current requirements engineering ***-based requirements engineering was proposed as an umbrella term for dealing with the requirements development in the context of the large-scale user ***,there are still many *** others,a key issue is how to merge these requirements to produce the synthesized requirements description when a set of requirements descriptions from different participants are *** techniques are needed for supporting the requirements *** are widely used in industry to represent *** paper chooses the activity diagrams and proposes a novel approach for the activity diagram synthesis which adopts the genetic algorithm to repeatedly modify a population of individual solutions toward an optimal *** a result,it can automatically generate a resulting diagram which combines the commonalities as many as possible while leveraging the variabilities of a set of input *** approach is featured by:1)the labelled graph proposed as the representation of the candidate solutions during the iterative evolution;2)the generalized entropy proposed and defined as the measurement of the solutions;3)the genetic algorithm designed for sorting out the high-quality *** cases of different scales are used to evaluate the effectiveness of the *** experimental results show that not only the approach gets high precision and recall but also the resulting diagram satisfies the properties of minimization and information preservation and can support the requirements traceability.
