Indoor positioning system determine the position of objects in a closed room or story building. This system can determine not only the position but also the orientation and direction of a person's movement. This research uses Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) a network technology that utilizes wireless technology and can work at frequencies of 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz. The aims to produce a system that can monitor the presence of employees. This makes the supervisor's work more effective because it can unify based on the information displayed on the android application. Based on observation and testing that has been done, the proposed system can display BSSID as MAC address and SSID from user data by authentication by admin. The system can monitor the user's position in the faculty office area with the application of the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm and the calculation of Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) and using the Fingerprinting method with an average Euclidean distance accuracy of 2.37 meters and able to display the user's position with a 100% success percentage. Then, the system is able to read the value of RSSI with 2.08% error.

Lack of awareness and experience in CPR often discourages individuals from initiating rescue actions of Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA). This research presents a new approach to CPR training using embedded system-based devices. This system, which resembles the human body's torso and head sections, monitors and calculates key parameters critical to successful CPR, including compression, airway management, and breathing techniques. Sensor nodes are placed to measure pressure during compression and monitor airway and respiratory processes. The collected data is transmitted and processed using Internet of Things (IoT) technology with a multi-user Android application, facilitating collaborative training sessions. Experimental testing validated the system's functional capabilities with successful network connection, real-time data transmission, and effective execution of CPR procedures. Hardware implementations use microcontrollers and sensors, with Arduino and NodeMcu ESP8266 enabling data processing and transmission. Software components developed within the Arduino IDE and Android Studio ensure efficient data handling and visualization. The results highlight the system's effectiveness in improving the accessibility and affordability of CPR training, potentially improving intervention by witnesses, and improving OHCA survival rates.

Network functions virtualization (NFVs) is a paradigm shift in order to integrate network functions (NFs). Moreover, Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) can easily be transferred from one device to another without the need for a new special hardware installation. On the other hand, VNF placement (VNF-P) is proved to be NP-hard. In this paper we present a multi-objective meta-heuristic solution using the NSGA-II algorithm for the VNF-P problem. The goal of our algorithm is to place VNFs corresponding to different service chains onto physical hosts, in such a way that could increase the physical resource utilization, and reduce the number of used (active) physical hosts. The simulation results using the well-known CloudSim framework show robustness of the proposed method in terms of criteria such as resource utilization, number of used physical hosts and so on.

This paper deals with examining the possibility of peer grading when ranking graphical user interface (GUI) design images. The assessment was made on real images created by students on a GUI design course. Students' assignments to design a graphical user interface were being subjected to pairwise comparison and ranking was made based on pairwise comparison matrix. Obtained students' ranking was compared to experts' opinion using Spearman's and Kendall's metrics. The results suggest the possibility of using students' peer to peer grades to obtain objective rank from their subjective comparisons.
