This work analyzes the possibilities of the EfficientNetB3 architecture, reinforced by modern image data augmentation methods, in the classification of brain cancers from MRI scans. Our key objective was to greatly boost the accuracy and reliability of brain tumor diagnosis by combining the advantages of a pre-trained EfficientNetB3 model, along with a custom-designed data augmentation strategy geared at effectively resolving the inherent variabilities in MRI images. To achieve this, comprehensive preprocessing protocols were applied to the MRI datasets designated for training, validation, and testing. These protocols included the resizing and normalization of images to ensure uniformity and compatibility with the neural network. Further, our approach utilized real-time image augmentation techniques such as rotations, shifts, and flips during the training process, thereby enhancing the model's exposure to a wide range of imaging scenarios and increasing its robustness against variations not present in the training set. The outcome of this research was a notable enhancement in the model's classification accuracy, achieving up to 99% accuracy in identifying various types of brain tumors. These results not only demonstrate the effectiveness of integrating sophisticated convolutional network architectures with extensive image augmentation in medical diagnostics but also suggest potential pathways for setting new standards in the accuracy and reliability of medical image analysis, particularly in the critical domain of brain tumor diagnosis. © 2024 IEEE.

correct understanding of the Holy Quran is an essential duty for all Muslims. Tajweed rules guide the reciter to perform Holy Quran reading exactly as it was uttered by Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. This work focused on the recognition of one Quranic recitation rule. Qalqalah rule is applied to five letters of the Arabic Alphabet (Baa/Daal/Jeem/Qaaf/Taa) having sukun vowelization. The proposed system used the Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) as the feature extraction technique, and the Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) model was used for recognition. The available dataset consists of 3322 audio samples from different surahs of the Quran for four professional readers (Sheihk) AlHussary, AlMinshawy, Abdel Baset, and Ayman Swayed. The best results were gained using Ayman Swayed audio samples with a validation accuracy of 90.8%. © 2023 IEEE.

The fast development of Large Language Models (LLMs) has made transformative applications in several fields attainable or possible. However, language models must often be more effective in specialized areas, especially health and prevention. This paper presents a novel method for fine-tuning LLMs using activity-related data to optimize them for the applicability of such models in health and wellbeing applications. We thus empirically evaluate this approach on the Cardiac Exercise Research corpus for fine-tuning the LLMs. The fine-tuning utilizes Quantized Low-Rank Adaptation (QLoRA) to ensure the models' size remains small while maintaining high performance and accuracy to keep the semantic understanding and relevance with health-related queries. Our results in answering domain-related prompts showed an improved user satisfaction and sentiment scores, providing strong confidence in the method's effectiveness. This study highlights the potential of domain-specific LLMs in advancing personalized healthcare. It instills a sense of optimism about the future of healthcare and the seamless integration of AI within health prevention and well-being domains. © 2024 IEEE.

It's difficult to effectively remove redundancy in Li-DAR point clouds due to their extremely sparse and nonuniform distribution. Taking advantage of both octree-based methods and voxel-based schemes, we propose to design an effective temporal-spatial context to compress the sequence octree-structured point cloud data into a more compact bitstream. In this paper, we first build a temporal-spatial multiscale context for the deep learning entropy model. It further utilize the correlation of sequential point cloud data from both the spatial domain and temporal domain. In terms of spatial context, we design a hierarchical dependency in an octree to encode the occupancy information of each non-leaf octree node into a bitstream. We propose to further group the nodes according to their octant which effectively expands the context receptive field. In terms of temporal context, the KNN algorithm is applied to explore the most relative context with the strongest dependency in the temporal domain. Finally, we design a voxel re-localization network to convert the discrete voxels into refined 3D points, which makes up for the coordinate loss in the process of generating an octree. The quantitative evaluation shows that our method outperforms state-of-The-Art baselines with saving most bitrate on KITTI Odometry dataset, and achieving the best reconstreuction benefit by the designed refinement module. © 2023 IEEE.

The current paper proposes a new approach for peripheral speech emotion analysis and gender estimation incorporating the best machine learning architectures such as CNNs and LSTMs. Its correct depiction of emotions and the variation of the gendered speech to indicate manifold signal-to-noise ratio make the approach accommodate the difficulty inherent in recognizing emotions from the recording of voices as well as predicting the gender of a speaker. It is then able to ally with preprocessing and collection of a vast range of different speech samples, feature extraction of pitch, tone and spectral data. These features serve as input to the CNNs and LSTMs: LSTMs work well at temporal regular features and the CNNs work well in feature extraction by location (spatio feature). The approach is tested on the RAVDESS and IEMOCAP datasets and establishes a near perfect match to prior approaches with reference to recognition accuracy of emotion analysis and gender prediction. Thus, applying the identified dual method approach, which could be described by such characteristics as highly accurate data pre-preprocessing, clear indication of the features of interest, a different CNN-LSTM model joint training, it offers a reasonably good platform to gain certain insights into such characteristics of the speech as our experiment demonstrates. This work offers satisfactory configurations on concerns such as human computer relation, customer relation and mental health surveillance to suggest that other applications could be achieved in future. © 2025 IEEE.

Recently,energy harvesting wireless sensor networks(EHWSN)have increased significant attention among research *** harvesting energy from the neighboring environment,the sensors in EHWSN resolve the energy constraint problem and offers lengthened network *** is one of the proficient ways for accomplishing even improved lifetime in *** clustering process intends to appropriately elect the cluster heads(CHs)and construct *** several models are available in the literature,it is still needed to accomplish energy efficiency and security in *** this view,this study develops a novel Chaotic Rider Optimization Based Clustering Protocol for Secure Energy Harvesting Wireless Sensor Networks(CROC-SEHWSN)*** presented CROC-SEHWSN model aims to accomplish energy efficiency by clustering the node in *** CROC-SEHWSN model is based on the integration of chaotic concepts with traditional rider optimization(RO)***,the CROC-SEHWSN model derives a fitness function(FF)involving seven distinct parameters connected to *** accomplish security,trust factor and link quality metrics are considered in the *** design of RO algorithm for secure clustering process shows the novelty of the *** order to demonstrate the enhanced performance of the CROC-SEHWSN approach,a wide range of simulations are carried out and the outcomes are inspected in distinct *** experimental outcome demonstrated the superior performance of the CROC-SEHWSN technique on the recent approaches with maximum network lifetime of 387.40 and 393.30 s under two scenarios.
