In the present study, we propose an algorithm for mapping virtual machines (VMs) to physical machines (PMs) in cloud data centers. The proposed method models a dynamic system where VMs enter and terminate. The goal of the algorithm is to minimize the power consumption of the PMs and the network while preventing service level agreement violation (SLA). Moreover, oversubscription is leveraged to enhance PM utilization. The mapping problem is formulated as an optimization problem and solved using a heuristic and a meta-heuristic algorithm. For the latter, we used chemical reaction optimization. In addition, to convert various important metrics into one optimization goal, first, the raw revenue of executing the VMs is calculated. Then, all other measured parameters, including PM and network power consumption, migration cost, and SLA violation penalty, are converted to monetary measures to obtain a net revenue, which is considered as the optimization goal. The simulation results show that the implemented CRO algorithm outperforms heuristic methods by a significant margin in terms of SLA violation and power consumption. © 2023, The Authors. Early detection of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) is vital for providing appropriate treatment, which requires accurate diagnosis to identify the types of the disease. Therefore, this study focuses on evaluating the performance of deep learning models in classifying different types of leukemia using three pre-trained CNN models: MobileNet V2, DenseNet201, and EfficientNet, to extract deep features. These features are then combined into a single set. An information exchange technique was used to select the best features after merging, and SMOTEENN was employed to address feature imbalance. The results showed that combining features extracted by the pre-trained CNN models achieved high accuracy and reliability, reaching 99.66%, enhancing the performance in accurately and quickly classifying patients. This approach not only improves diagnostic accuracy but also contributes to accelerating the decision-making process for treatment, enabling doctors to better tailor therapies and thereby improve patient outcomes. The findings underscore the importance of ongoing research in this field and provide future recommendations for enhancing performance and increasing classification accuracy in similar medical applications.

Web-blogging sites such as Twitter and Facebook are heavily influenced by emotions,sentiments,and data in the modern ***,a widely used microblogging site where individuals share their thoughts in the form of tweets,has become a major source for sentiment *** recent years,there has been a significant increase in demand for sentiment analysis to identify and classify opinions or expressions in text or *** or expressions of people about a particular topic,situation,person,or product can be identified from sentences and divided into three categories:positive for good,negative for bad,and neutral for mixed or confusing *** process of analyzing changes in sentiment and the combination of these categories is known as“sentiment analysis.”In this study,sentiment analysis was performed on a dataset of 90,000 tweets using both deep learning and machine learning *** deep learning-based model long-short-term memory(LSTM)performed better than machine learning *** short-term memory achieved 87%accuracy,and the support vector machine(SVM)classifier achieved slightly worse results than LSTM at 86%.The study also tested binary classes of positive and negative,where LSTM and SVM both achieved 90%accuracy.

A multitude of individuals across the globe grapple with motor disabilities. Neural prosthetics utilizing Brain-computer Interface (BCI) technology exhibit promise for improving motor rehabilitation outcomes. The intricate nature of EEG data poses a significant hurdle for current BCI systems. Recently, a qualitative repository of EEG signals tied to both upper and lower limb execution of motor and motor imagery tasks has been unveiled. Despite this, the productivity of the Machine Learning (ML) Models that were trained on this dataset was alarmingly deficient, and the evaluation framework seemed insufficient. To enhance outcomes, robust feature engineering (signal processing) methodologies are implemented. A collection of time domain, frequency domain, and wavelet-derived features was obtained from 16-channel EEG signals, and the Maximum Relevance Minimum Redundancy (MRMR) approach was employed to identify the four most significant features. For classification K Nearest Neighbors, Support Vector Machine, Decision Tree, and Naive Bayes models were implemented with these selected features, evaluating their effectiveness through metrics such as testing accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 Score. By leveraging SVM with a Gaussian Kernel, a remarkable maximum testing accuracy of 92.50% for motor activities and 95.48% for imagery activities is achieved. These results are notably more dependable and gratifying compared to the previous study, where the peak accuracy was recorded at 74.36%. This research work provide an in-depth analysis of the MI Limb EEG dataset and it will help in designing and developing simple, cost-effective and reliable BCI systems for neuro-rehabilitation. © 2025, The Authors. A solution to the task of local subscriber positioning for a Wi-Fi/Indoor network is presented. The use of the Fingerprinting method is proposed. The operation of the Fingerprinting method, that uses quadratic complex planar splines to evaluate the user's position, is explained. Presented finding a user's local position error on a Wi-Fi/Indoor network. Using the proposed method of finding a subscriber's local position in a Wi-Fi/Indoor network reduces location error. © 2022 IEEE.

Vehicular ad hoc networks(VANETs)provide intelligent navigation and efficient route management,resulting in time savings and cost reductions in the transportation ***,the exchange of beacons and messages over public channels among vehicles and roadside units renders these networks vulnerable to numerous attacks and privacy *** address these challenges,several privacy and security preservation protocols based on blockchain and public key cryptography have been proposed ***,most of these schemes are limited by a long execution time and massive communication costs,which make them inefficient for on-board units(OBUs).Additionally,some of them are still susceptible to many *** such,this study presents a novel protocol based on the fusion of elliptic curve cryptography(ECC)and bilinear pairing(BP)*** formal security analysis is accomplished using the Burrows–Abadi–Needham(BAN)logic,demonstrating that our scheme is verifiably *** proposed scheme’s informal security assessment also shows that it provides salient security features,such as non-repudiation,anonymity,and ***,the scheme is shown to be resilient against attacks,such as packet replays,forgeries,message falsifications,and *** the performance perspective,this protocol yields a 37.88%reduction in communication overheads and a 44.44%improvement in the supported security ***,the proposed scheme can be deployed in VANETs to provide robust security at low overheads.

The research project focuses on prototyping an IoT (Internet of Things) system for measuring and monitoring the quality of the Wang River in Lampang Municipality. The system utilizes EC (Electrical Conductivity), pH, and temperature sensors connected to an ESP32 microcontroller with a custom-developed board. Additionally, the IoT system is supported by a solar cell system to provide power. The software programming is implemented using Arduino C++ on the PlatformIO platform, which is integrated with Visual Studio code. The IoT platform chosen for this project is ThingsBoard, specifically the community version. The research findings indicate that the utilization of IoT technology combined with the sensors has improved the prototype of a low-cost IoT monitoring system for assessing the quality of the Wang River in Lampang Municipality. © 2023 IEEE.

Balancing the consistency of style and the integrity of content is the main challenge in arbitrary style transfer domain. Currently, local style details can be effectively captured by attention mechanism but easily produce distorted style patterns and inconsistent content structure. In this paper, we propose a Content Affinity Preserving Arbitrary Style Transfer (CAPAST) framework to ensure style features can be stably integrated into the content structure. Considering the local feature learning ability of CNN and the global feature representation advantage of transformer, a dual encoder is proposed to capture local and global features of images with the combination between transformer and CNN. In addition, a channel and spatially aligned attention (CSAA) is introduced to generate high-quality results by stably fusing style features and content features. In experiments, we demonstrated the superior performance of our method in preventing content structure distortion and maintaining consistency between style and content. People having visual impairment can't perform routine tasks on their own such that they are obliged to perform even the simplest task with assistance. Since their issue can't be resolved with visual glasses or lenses, the various mode of advancing technologies is playing an immense role in aiding them. Plenty of research work and development of gadgets have been proposed regarding the assistance of visually impaired people. From deep learning along with sensor-based initiative systems to various ranges of software have been developed but until now every system or software heeds on a particular feature. This article is based on purposing the idea of developing a cross-platform application named Optic Ally, intelligent assistance for visually impaired people that will provide all salient features in it regarding their assistance. For this idea of Optic Ally application, a novel model-driven framework is introduced that comprises a meta-model, tree editor, and graphical modeling tool that is Sirius based with drag and drop palette. The modeling and visualization of the features of this app are done using the Sirius-based graphical modeling tool. Moreover, a case study has been demonstrated for the validity of the proposed framework. The outcome of the case study proves that the proposed framework is competent in modeling and visualizing features effectively. The initial developed stage of the application is also shown in this article. Optic Ally application features include object detection, object finder, location, voice assistance, guardian help, link account and profile setup for the visually impaired user whereas for the guardian user the features include location, profile setup and guardian help © 2022 IEEE.

Energy is essential to practically all exercises and is imperative for the development of personal ***,valuable energy has been in great demand for many years,especially for using smart homes and structures,as individuals quickly improve their way of life depending on current ***,there is a shortage of energy,as the energy required is higher than that *** new plans are being designed to meet the consumer’s energy *** many regions,energy utilization in the housing area is 30%–40%.The growth of smart homes has raised the requirement for intelligence in applications such as asset management,energy-efficient automation,security,and healthcare monitoring to learn about residents’actions and forecast their future *** overcome the challenges of energy consumption optimization,in this study,we apply an energy management *** fusion has recently attracted much energy efficiency in buildings,where numerous types of information are *** proposed research developed a data fusion model to predict energy consumption for accuracy and miss *** results of the proposed approach are compared with those of the previously published techniques and found that the prediction accuracy of the proposed method is 92%,which is higher than the previously published approaches.
