Lower limb exoskeleton rehabilitation robots can effectively improve the rehabilitation of stroke patients and can substantially reduce the workload of rehabilitation therapists and improve work efficiency. In this paper, we propose a method to investigate the influence of muscle groups on the hip joint during the gait cycle through kinetic modeling simulation. The method is validated using electromyographic signals (EMG). The patients are treated according to their gait characteristics. Simulation with OpenSim; optimisation by Scone controller; joint motion change curves were analysed by Matlab simulation to verify the correctness of the mathematical model, and the simulation showed excellent following effect. The feasibility of the theory is verified, and a new scheme is proposed for the treatment of stroke patients.

The first signer arranges for an agent to generate a proxy private key using an identity based proxy signature (IBPS) scheme. The agent outputs the proxy signature for the first signer can generate the signature for the original signer using the proxy private key. Because the potential problem of information security must be taken into account with the development of network technology, the proxy private key needed to be protected. We propose an identity-based proxy signing key-insulated proxy signature (IBPSKIPS) scheme to prevent the proxy private key from being exposed. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Key protected deputy signature scheme against the deputy signing key exposure

Key exposure is very harmful to a cryptographic system. To decrease the loss from the deputy signing key vulnerability in identity-based proxy signature systems, we propose the method of key protected deputy signature (IBKPDS) using the method of parallel key insulation. The proposed IBKPDS is based on identities and is shown to be secure with the cryptographic proof. In the proof, there is no random oracle. In an IBKPPS crypto-system, a user stores his short-lived deputy signing key by himself and saves two long-lived keys in two heavily guarded boxes respectively. The derived IBKPDS cryptographic system is heavily key-separated. A thief who wants to obtain crucial information can not corrupt the IBKPDS when he get only one long-lived key. In addition, the user can change the short-lived deputy signing keys frequently at low risk. © 2021, North Atlantic University Union NAUN. All rights reserved.

In recent years, face recognition technology has developed rapidly, and its application range has become more and more extensive. It is one of the most important application fields in computer vision technology. However, there are still many technical factors that restrict the application and promotion of face recognition technology. For example: shadows, occlusions, light and dark areas, dark light, highlights and other factors will make the face recognition rate drop sharply. Therefore, face recognition has extremely high research and application value. We use the Local Binary Patterns (LBP) algorithms with histogram equalization to obtain high-resolution images and improve the recognition rate in different scenarios, and try to apply face recognition to attendance. © 2020 IEEE.

With the rising competition among pharmaceutical companies, the current drug supply chain market has become more competitive with high-quality product segments. The rapid growth of internet pharmacies has made it more difficult to standardize drug safety throughout in complex distributed supply chain networks. There is a high chance of introducing counterfeit drugs which are almost the same as the original pharmaceuticals. Due to the lack of transparency the possibility of tampering with drugs in the current manual and web-based pharmaceutical systems is extremely high. Throughout the past recent years, these counterfeit drugs were recognized as the one of major worldwide problems. This situation is worse in developing countries. The unavailability of verifying the legitimacy of drug suppliers and poor mechanisms to trace the drugs were identified as critical points that need to be resolved. SUPPLYDECK comes as a solution for the critical scenario mentioned. This solution addresses the above problems using blockchain technology, as a distributed digital ledger that ensures transparency, traceability, and security. This can show promise for solving some global supply chain management problems using smart contracts and user authentication along with IoT technology and machine learning concepts that are critically examined with this potential application. © 2022 IEEE.

Applications that support multimedia data such as medical pictures and videos, video broadcasting, and secure video conferencing consume vast quantities of information that require large numbers of servers to provide services for the many client users who access them. Cloud-based sensitive data becomes increasingly important for the respective users to be kept confidential without infringing confidentiality, integrity, and availability. We propose a framework based on the OpenStack cloud-computing platform for multimedia data security. A prototype framework with a helper tool EncSwift is implemented, which allows stringent data access control and applying the data-at-rest Over-Encryption approach. The implementation is evaluated for computation of cryptography operations, cost of communications, and update policy consequences for the framework. With OpenStack Swift’s open source and modular design, our multimedia data management and management framework is well suited to protecting and managing clouds’ multimedia with low computational costs as shown in the experimental results. © 2023 IEEE.

Metamorphic testing is a testing method for problems without test oracles. Integration testing allows for detecting errors in complex systems that may not be found during the testing of their components. In this paper, we propose a novel approach that applies metamorphic testing in integration testing. The main idea is to develop a composite metamorphic relation for the system represented as an acyclic graph. This relation is a logical function of metamorphic relations for the parts of the system (vertices of the graph). It takes into account the features of the parts. Also, it can simplify the search for failure by identifying the subsystem with error. In this paper's theoretical part, we describe an algorithm of relation design. Then, we apply our method to a bioinformatics system for comparative genetic analysis of tissues using production tools. This experiment proves our method can be applied to real-life pipelines and find errors in them. © 2022 ACM.

Breast cancer is a significant global healthcare challenge, particularly in developing and underdeveloped countries, with profound physical, emotional, and psychological consequences, including mortality. Timely diagnosis and accurate treatment are crucial in addressing this issue. We propose the utilization of a feature selection technique to identify the most relevant features from among all features for breast cancer diagnosis, and show that Genetic Algorithms are impressive for this task. The study compares the results of GA with no selection and an alternative method, Principle Component Analysis (PCA). Three machine learning models, all based on supervised learning with data split into training and test data, are employed for binary classification using the selected feature subset. The evaluation metrics employed encompass accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. Among the selected models, Random Forest demonstrates the most favorable outcomes, achieving an accuracy score of 0.96, precision score of 0.96, recall value of 0.98, and an F1-score of 0.97. These results underscore the effectiveness of GA in feature selection for breast cancer diagnosis. Consequently, the integration of Genetic Algorithms (GA) with Random Forest showcases the superior performance among the evaluated models. © 2023 IEEE.
