Gliomas hold a prominent position in neurooncology due to their high malignancy and poor survival rates. Accurately predicting the prognosis and survival risk of glioma patients is crucial for clinical treatment. Recent advances in survival prediction methods emphasize the importance of integrating complementary information from diverse modalities while neglecting the significant modality gap between pathological images and genomic data. To address this issue, we propose a modality-specific knowledge interaction network (MSKI-Net), which integrates whole slide images (WSI), RNA-Seq gene expression data, and copy number variation (CNV) data for glioma survival analysis. The MSKI-Net consists of a modality-specific feature enhancement (MSFE) module, a modality-interactive cross-attention (MICA) module, and a modality-specific knowledge-guided representation learning (MSKR) module. The three modules collaborate by complementing modality-specific features with modality-agnostic knowledge to improve the learning capability of MSKI-Net. Furthermore, we construct a dataset named TCGAmm, which combines WSI, RNA-Seq, and CNV data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) to address the issue of data scarcity. Extensive experiments demonstrate that MSKI-Net achieves superior performance in predicting the survival risk of glioma cancer. © 2024 IEEE.

This Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), facilitates the medical stop regarding real-time monitoring of patients, medical emergency management, remote surgery, patient information management, medical equipment, drug monitoring, etc. However, IoMT devices communicate with each other in an open environment that makes them vulnerable to a wide range of malicious threats from malicious entities. To protect the devices and their associated data, we designed a broadcast authentication scheme for IoMT devices using identity-based public key cryptography that exploits the lightweight features of the Hyper-Elliptic Curve (HEC). We then performed the security analysis based on the Random Oracle Model (ROM), in which we have proved that the proposed scheme is unforgeable under the hardiness of the hyperelliptic curve discrete logarithm problem. The proposed scheme is analyzed in terms of computational and communication overhead and the experimental results justify the superiority of the proposed work in comparison to the existing schemes. © 2024 IEEE.

The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) changed the world’s lifestyle switching many techno-services to be provided remotely instead of direct usual physical interactions between people. This study focused on university students’ perceptions of this virtual technology-engineering change as discrepancies to be analyzed. The research surveyed 777 different students from four Arab middle-east neighboring countries, with related demographics and specifications, expressing full remarkable experiences of e-technology in virtual as well as traditional performances helping reveal overall tolerance possibilities. The study adopted examination technology via ANOVA to test discrepancies within students' perceptions for overall multi-factors deep analysis classification. The exploration highlighted an interesting range of pros and cons remarks including feminism and economic effect as well as other cultural and engineering interaction issues, raising signals to essentially consider and mutually benefit from adequate future generation e-techno adaptation within the region. © The Author(s) 2023.

Voice recognition systems are crucial because they allow seamless human-computer interaction and improve accessibility for users of all abilities. The use of these technologies in hands-free control, language translation, virtual assistants, transcription services, and hands-free control is revolutionising how we engage with technology and enhancing convenience and productivity in general. Several attendance systems based on voice recognition exist, but we wanted to deploy an attendance system with a good graphical user interface specifically for students of GIK institute. For this purpose, we wanted to make a user-friendly and accurate voice recognition system based and trained on self-provided data of ten students. This study introduces an AI-driven attendance system, which demonstrates high efficiency and accuracy in identifying students’ daily class attendance. To achieve this, the Gaussian Mixture Model approach was employed. The paper also delves into the utilization of libraries and methods, encompassing the training and validation of well-known machine learning models. Additionally, the system’s performance, its strengths, weaknesses and potential areas for improvement are also discussed in the study. © 2024 IEEE.

Facial expressions are important information that reflects human emotions. Recognizing dynamic expressions of students in class, 8 kinds of emotions are selected for application: positive emotions: “happy”; negative emotions: “disgust, Sadness, doubts, contempt, anger”; neutral emotion: “focus, surprise”. [1] In this design, the classroom performance scoring system in normal hours is split into four functions: wireless network list acquisition and verification, face recognition, emotion analysis, and scoring record storage. On this basis, SVM and Softmax are used. Facial expression recognition and a data storage database is designed to realize the function of an intelligent scoring system for classroom performance points. To solve this problem, an expression recognition method combining pyramid convolutional neural network and attention mechanism is proposed.

The brain tumour is the mass where some tissues become old or damaged,but they do not die or not leave their *** brain tumour masses occur due to malignant *** tissues must die so that new tissues are allowed to be born and take their *** segmentation is a complex and time-taking problem due to the tumour’s size,shape,and appearance *** finding such masses in the brain by analyzing Magnetic Resonance Images(MRI)is a crucial task for experts and *** could not work for large volume images simultaneously,and many errors occurred due to overwhelming image *** main objective of this research study is the segmentation of tumors in brain MRI images with the help of digital image processing and deep learning *** research study proposed an automatic model for tumor segmentation in MRI *** proposed model has a few significant steps,which first apply the pre-processing method for the whole dataset to convert Neuroimaging Informatics technology Initiative(NIFTI)volumes into the 3D NumPy *** the second step,the proposed model adopts U-Net deep learning segmentation algorithm with an improved layered structure and sets the updated *** the third step,the proposed model uses state-of-the-art Medical Image Computing and computer-Assisted Intervention(MICCAI)BRATS 2018 dataset withMRI modalities such as T1,T1Gd,T2,and Fluidattenuated inversion recovery(FLAIR).Tumour types in MRI images are classified according to the tumour *** of these masses carried by state-of-the-art approaches such that the first is enhancing tumour(label 4),edema(label 2),necrotic and non-enhancing tumour core(label 1),and the remaining region is label 0 such that edema(whole tumour),necrosis and *** proposed model is evaluated and gets the Dice Coefficient(DSC)value for High-grade glioma(HGG)volumes for their test set-a,test set-b,and test set-c 0.9795, 0.9855 and 0.9793, respectively.

The Sequence-to-Sequence (Seq2Seq) of neural network (NN) method based on recurrent neural network (RNN) and attention mechanism plays an important role in information extraction and automatic summarization. However, this method can’t make full use of the text linguistic feature information, and there is a problem of unregistered words in the generated results, which affects the accuracy and readability of the text summarization. To solve this problem, the text linguistic feature is used to improve the input characteristics, and the copy mechanism is introduced to alleviate the problem of unregistered words in the summarization generation process. On this basis, a new method named Copy-Generator Model (CGM) based on Seq2Seq model is proposed to improve the effect of text summarization. The results of experiments using LCSTS (Large Scale Chinese Short Text Summarization) as the data source show that the proposed method in this paper can effectively improve the accuracy of summarization and can be applied to automatic text summarization.

Numerous disabilities such as deaf and mute are suffered from not being capable of communicating with normal people, it is necessary to find a way to solve this problem. A feasible method is Sign Language Recognition (SLR) which is a sort of pattern recognition technique. In this paper, machine learning and deep learning methods are applied to recognize and classify American Sign Language (ASL), and only 24 English letters are classified because letter J and Z require fingers to move. First, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and manifold algorithms are used to do dimension reduction to accelerate the training of machine learning and visualize it. Second, various machine learning methods such as Random Forest Classification (RFC), K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Gaussian Naïve Bayes (GNB), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) are applied to classify the pattern. Since the SVM algorithm has several hyperparameters, this study uses the Grid Search method to find the best combination of hyperparameter which lead to predicting more accurately. It is found that different dimensionality reduction algorithms have unequal effects on the accuracy of each prediction model, and it can be concluded that the manifold algorithm is the best dimension reduction algorithm only for KNN but not for other prediction models, and PCA is much more feasible than KNN applied in such machine learning algorithms except KNN. Two deep learning algorithms such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Deep Neural Networks (DNN) are also used in classification and their accuracy is highest among such algorithms mentioned above. © 2022 IEEE.

Trust is essential in the constantly developing environment of online social networks. The Nexus Terroism Impact and Intro Trust facilitate the communication, decision-making, and maintenance of digital communities among individuals. Trust-based Learning with Classification Principle (TLCP) is introduced in this research to improve the assessment of trust in social networks. To ascertain its efficacy, our proposed methodology undergoes a 10-fold cross-validation against the Trust Assessment Methodology (TAM). The traditional Trust Assessment Model (TAM) evaluates and regulates trust in Internet social networking. This method incorporates trust assessment factors to generate a user dependability judgment that is both discriminatory and dynamic. The Trustworthy Account Management (TAM) challenge is designed to enhance digital trust by addressing disinformation, deception, and hostile conduct. The TLCP is able to accurately evaluate trust by utilizing reputation scoring, community analysis, and user behavior metrics. Trust levels are dynamically adjusted as a result of the identification of trustworthy behavioral patterns and danger indicators by machine learning algorithms and social media data. This research examines the connections between trust management and digital interactions and suggests a general solution to alleviate specific trust evaluation issues across online social networks. © 2024 IEEE.
