Cloud environments utilize availability and usage of resources as crucial components in order to produce scalability, reliability and low cost. Such resource capabilities require autonomous systems that can handle these resources dynamically in spite of fluctuating workloads and service delivery requirements. Static models of resource management suffer from scalability and inability to react on the fly and accurately predict the demand thus causing Service Level Agreement (SLA) breaches and affecting the Quality of Service (QoS) as well as energy consumption profile. Advanced and elaborative cloud workloads require an intelligent system that can analyse the temporal and spatial patterns without impacting the overall system's performance significantly. Inspired by these challenges, this research proposes a Causal Dilated Geometric Algebra Convolutional Transformer Network (CATNet) along with the Prairie-Dog Optimizer (P-DogO), referred to as CAT-DogNet to learn and predict the dynamic scalability. CATNet integrates Causal Dilated Convolutional Networks in time domain for temporal structure capturing and Geometric Algebra Transformer for spatial resource coding. P-DogO adjusts weight parameters and losses for resource allocation, enhancing them depending on a work environment. A set of comprehensive assessments demonstrate a 0.85% SLA violation rate, average response time of less than 10ms, and overall 12.3% less energy consumption than baseline methods. The system had favourable predictability rates over 99.4% for the resource demand estimate. CAT-DogN et presents a sound and agnostic architecture for autonomous resource allocation in cloud environment, which indeed extend the state of art by considering flexibility, power consumption and QoS compliance.

This research presents an enhanced version of the technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which integrates usability and learning objectives to evaluate the effect of adopting virtual laboratories on student performance. Data from 97 participants, gathered via a survey, was used to examine the correlation between perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), and intention to use (IU) concerning their experiences and outcomes with a simulation-based virtual laboratory. A custom questionnaire was designed to assess TAM components, namely PU, PEOU, and IU, specifically in the context of virtual laboratory learning environments. Findings indicate that the integration of specific laboratory learning objectives fosters the creation of a more credible and authentic simulation tool. This, in turn, optimizes the learning process and enhances students' learning outcomes. The refined TAM model provides valuable insights into the determinants of user acceptance of virtual laboratories and offers practical guidance for educators and instructional designers to construct more effective and efficient virtual laboratory environments in educational contexts.

As a developing country, Sri Lanka needs to go along with cutting-edge technologies. In the beginning phase of this digital advertising, multiple advertisements were displayed on the users’ feeds, including advertisements despite their preferences. This was a terrible user experience for the users. However, smart advertising based on customer preferences can manage the flow of advertisements on the feed as per the users’ preferences. This same technique can be used in handling advertisements while shopping at supermarkets. These advertisements can be directed based on demographic characteristics like face and gender and previous customer transactions. Additionally, providing the nearest supermarket they can reach based on their current location. Queue management is the next most crucial facility that needs to be provided to a supermarket. However, the manual system of queue management is not effective. But with a modernized queue management system, overcrowded supermarkets can be managed effectively. This proposed system also considers providing a chatbot service to manage customer inquiries in a reliable strategy. In this system, we mainly used the Keras model called VGGFace for face detection, the Conventional Neural Network and Keras-based model for gender detection, the TensorFlow model called Single Shot MultiBox Detection MobileNet for queue and crowd detection, the Apriori algorithm base model for predicting the buying pattern, a Keras-based model for Artificial Intelligence chatbot and finally, google map Application Programming Interface for the nearest supermarket finding are models and technology. This system was developed to manage a supermarket properly.

Fence Theorem: Towards Dual-Objective Semantic-Structure Isolation in Preprocessing Phase for 3D Anomaly Detection

3D anomaly detection (AD) is prominent but difficult due to lacking a unified theoretical foundation for preprocessing design. We establish the Fence Theorem, formalizing preprocessing as a dual-objective semantic isolator: (1) mitigating cross-semantic interference to the greatest extent feasible and (2) confining anomaly judgements to aligned semantic spaces wherever viable, thereby establishing intra-semantic comparability. Any preprocessing approach achieves this goal through a two-stage process of Semantic-Division and Spatial-Constraints stage. Through systematic deconstruction, we theoretically and experimentally subsume existing preprocessing methods under this theorem via tripartite evidence: qualitative analyses, quantitative studies, and mathematical proofs. Guided by the Fence Theorem, we implement Patch3D, consisting of Patch-Cutting and Patch-Matching modules, to segment semantic spaces and consolidate similar ones while independently modeling normal features within each space. Experiments on Anomaly-ShapeNet and Real3D-AD with different settings demonstrate that progressively finer-grained semantic alignment in preprocessing directly enhances point-level AD accuracy, providing inverse validation of the theorem’s causal logic. With the rising competition among pharmaceutical companies, the current drug supply chain market has become more competitive with high-quality product segments. The rapid growth of internet pharmacies has made it more difficult to standardize drug safety throughout in complex distributed supply chain networks. There is a high chance of introducing counterfeit drugs which are almost the same as the original pharmaceuticals. Due to the lack of transparency the possibility of tampering with drugs in the current manual and web-based pharmaceutical systems is extremely high. Throughout the past recent years, these counterfeit drugs were recognized as the one of major worldwide problems. This situation is worse in developing countries. The unavailability of verifying the legitimacy of drug suppliers and poor mechanisms to trace the drugs were identified as critical points that need to be resolved. SUPPLYDECK comes as a solution for the critical scenario mentioned. This solution addresses the above problems using blockchain technology, as a distributed digital ledger that ensures transparency, traceability, and security. This can show promise for solving some global supply chain management problems using smart contracts and user authentication along with IoT technology and machine learning concepts that are critically examined with this potential application.

Automated cognitive assessment tools are state-of-the-art in assessing cognition development. Due to the low availability of resources, building automated cognitive ability evaluation tools is challenging. This study focuses on developing machine learning models using a limited amount of data to assess Reasoning IQ, Knowledge IQ, Mental Chronometry and Attention-levels of Sinhala-speaking children between the age of 7 to 9 years. Our solution includes Sinhala speech recognition systems, image classification models, gaze estimation, blink count detection and facial expression recognition models to evaluate the above four cognitive ability measuring factors. Open domain speech recognition has been used to evaluate complex Sinhala child verbal responses and limited vocabulary responses were assessed using an end-to-end speech recognition system, respectively achieving 40.1% WER and 97.14% accuracy. Additionally, the image classification models for handwritten Sinhala letter recognition and two shape recognition models have gained 97%, 89% and 99% accuracy. The linear regression model for attention level evaluation that utilizes the inputs from a combination of eye-gaze estimation, facial expression recognition and blink rate detection models has gained 85% accuracy.

In modern era where software development is of vital importance, software developers are challenged with conditions like Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) which hinders their ability to work effectively. Furthermore, people with difficulties with using their hands also find it challenging to program in the traditional manner. As a solution, coding with one’s voice has been experimented with, but current solutions lack interactivity and are harder to use and setup leaving much room for improvement in this domain. In this research work, by using input classifier models with accuracies over 90%, intent classifiers with accuracies over 70%, code parsing and various human computer interaction techniques, we developed a conversationally interactive, programming language agnostic, easy to setup and easy to use Voice Coding Assistant. This will potentially help a global audience of programmers to achieve their goals and improve productivity and lead a healthier life. We have named the system thus developed, “Venic”.

Applications that support multimedia data such as medical pictures and videos, video broadcasting, and secure video conferencing consume vast quantities of information that require large numbers of servers to provide services for the many client users who access them. Cloud-based sensitive data becomes increasingly important for the respective users to be kept confidential without infringing confidentiality, integrity, and availability. We propose a framework based on the OpenStack cloud-computing platform for multimedia data security. A prototype framework with a helper tool EncSwift is implemented, which allows stringent data access control and applying the data-at-rest Over-Encryption approach. The implementation is evaluated for computation of cryptography operations, cost of communications, and update policy consequences for the framework. With OpenStack Swift's open source and modular design, our multimedia data management and management framework is well suited to protecting and managing clouds' multimedia with low computational costs as shown in the experimental results.
