The field of information security, in general, has seen shifts a traditional approach to an intelligence system. Moreover, an increasing of researchers to focus on propose intelligence systems and framework based on the forensic case studies because of the limitations of traditional methods such as analysis intensive data manually, intelligence visualization to make the evidence more understandable and intelligence system for store data. However, most of these intelligence systems are still facing different limitations. Furthermore, the primary goal of this work analysis popular intelligence system that was used based on forensic. Moreover, propose new algorithms and hybrid model which it's achieved good results in dif-ferent other fields to develop the forensic systems in the future. © 2021

YOLOCSP-PEST for Crops Pest Localization and Classification

Preservation of the crops depends on early and accurate detection of pests on crops as they cause several diseases decreasing crop production and quality. Several deep-learning techniques have been applied to overcome the issue of pest detection on crops. We have developed the YOLOCSP-PEST model for Pest localization and classification. With the Cross Stage Partial Network (CSPNET) backbone, the proposed model is a modified version of You Only Look Once Version 7 (YOLOv7) that is intended primarily for pest localization and classification. Our proposed model gives exceptionally good results under conditions that are very challenging for any other comparable models especially conditions where we have issues with the luminance and the orientation of the images. It helps farmers working out on their crops in distant areas to determine any infestation quickly and accurately on their crops which helps in the quality and quantity of the production yield. The model has been trained and tested on 2 datasets namely the IP102 data set and a local crop data set on both of which it has shown exceptional results. It gave us a mean average precision (mAP) of 88.40% along with a precision of 85.55% and a recall of 84.25% on the IP102 dataset meanwhile giving a mAP of 97.18% on the local data set along with a recall of 94.88% and a precision of 97.50%. These findings demonstrate that the proposed model is very effective in detecting real-life scenarios and can help in the production of crops improving the yield quality and quantity at the same time.

Decentralized Anonymous Payment Systems (DAP), often known as cryptocurrencies, stand out as some of the most innovative and successful applications on the blockchain. These systems have garnered significant attention in the financial industry due to their highly secure and reliable features. Regrettably, the DAP system can be exploited to fund illegal activities such as drug dealing and terrorism. Therefore, governments are increasingly worried about the illicit use of DAP systems, which poses a critical threat to their security. This paper proposes Privacy and Compliance in Regulated Anonymous Payment System Based on Blockchain (PCRAP), which provides government supervision and enforces regulations over transactions without sacrificing the essential idea of the blockchain, that is, without surrendering transaction privacy or anonymity of the participants. The key characteristic of the proposed scheme is using a ring signature and stealth address to ensure the anonymity of both the sender and receiver of the transaction. Moreover, a Merkle Tree is used to guarantee government supervision and enforce regulations. Our proposed scheme satisfies most of the stringent security requirements and complies with the standards of secure payment systems. Additionally, while our work supports government regulations and supervision, it guarantees unconditional anonymity for users. Furthermore, the performance analysis demonstrates that our suggested scheme still remains applicable and effective even when achieving complete anonymity. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2024.

One of the highly focused areas in the medical science community is segmenting tumors from brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The diagnosis of malignant tumors at an early stage is necessary to provide treatment for patients. The patient’s prognosis will improve if it is detected early. Medical experts use a manual method of segmentation when making a diagnosis of brain tumors. This study proposes a new approach to simplify and automate this process. In recent research, multi-level segmentation has been widely used in medical image analysis, and the effectiveness and precision of the segmentation method are directly tied to the number of segments used. However, choosing the appropriate number of segments is often left up to the user and is challenging for many segmentation algorithms. The proposed method is a modified version of the 3D Histogram-based segmentation method, which can automatically determine an appropriate number of segments. The general algorithm contains three main steps: The first step is to use a Gaussian filter to smooth the 3D RGB histogram of an image. This eliminates unreliable and non-dominating histogram peaks that are too close together. Next, a multimodal particle swarm optimization method identifies the histogram’s peaks. In the end, pixels are placed in the cluster that best fits their characteristics based on the non-Euclidean distance. The proposed algorithm has been applied to a Cancer Imaging Archive (TCIA) and brain MRI Images for brain Tumor detection dataset. The results of the proposed method are compared with those of three clustering methods: FCM, FCM_FWCW, and FCM_FW. In the comparative analysis of the three algorithms across various MRI slices. Our algorithm consistently demonstrates superior performance. It achieves the top mean rank in all three metrics, indicating its robustness and effectiveness in clustering. Adopting the CloudIoT-based healthcare paradigm provides various prospects for medical IT and considerably enhances healthcare services. However, compared to the advanced development of CloudIoT-based healthcare systems, their usage is relatively low among healthcare professionals in hospitals. Thus, a study on the healthcare professionals acceptance and adoption of CloudIoT-based healthcare is critical. This study explores factors influencing healthcare professionals adoption of CloudIoT-based healthcare solutions by extending the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 model. Data was collected from 300 healthcare professionals in Jordan through an online questionnaire developed using the Google^® form application. The Bayesian Network and Structural Equation Modeling techniques were used to analyze and validate the proposed model. The results revealed that the healthcare professional’s behavioral intention is directly affected by seven factors: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, habit, trust, privacy, and security. The results also indicate that trust mediates the influence of privacy, facilitating conditions, and performance expectancy on behavioral intention. The research results will aid CloudIoT service providers, healthcare organizations, designers, and developers by offering comprehensive knowledge of the significant factors of CloudIoT-based healthcare adoption. The paper proposes 'AdaptVR' a virtual reality (VR) system designed to enhance dental training through realistic real tile simulations and adaptive learning environment, to overcome traditional training challenges in dental education. The system aims to provide personalized learning experiences, facilitating skill development and comprehensive assessments for students. The proposed system was tested by 17 dentistry students and 5 experts. AdaptVR framework is done for operative dentistry which is removing decay especially Class I and Class II of classification of caries. Results from the experiment revealed that 77.3% of participants exceed their expectations, 59.1% saw a positive effect on their dental skills, 90.9% reported higher levels of engagement, and 65% indicated that vibration and force feedback provided students with a genuine sensation. AdpatVR's experimental findings show an average accuracy of 50.85% for Class I, 51.7% for Class II, and 82.09% for the Class II box technique. The error percentage averages 49% for Class I, 48% for Class II, and 18% for Class II box technique. © 2024 IEEE.

Assessing and prioritizing crucial drivers for CloudIoT-based healthcare adoption: an analytic hierarchy process approach

The CloudIoT paradigm has profoundly transformed the healthcare industry, providing outstanding innovation and practical applications. However, despite its many advantages, the adoption of this paradigm in healthcare settings remains limited. There is a lack of comprehensive understanding of the factors that ensure successful implementation. To address this issue, we have used the Analytic Hierarchy Process to prioritize 26 factors that could potentially influence the adoption of CloudIoT-based healthcare. These factors were derived from existing literature and categorized into four main groups: personal-specific, technology-specific, environment-specific, and organization-specific factors. Our findings revealed that performance expectancy, trust, facilitating conditions, task complexity, and perceived security are the top five critical factors influencing CloudIoT-based healthcare adoption. Interestingly, our results indicated that environmental factors were less influential than those in the other categories, with personal, technological, and organizational factors dominating the top ten significant factors. The insights from this study can help policymakers, CloudIoT service providers, healthcare providers, designers, and developers better understand the factors contributing to the successful implementation of CloudIoT-based healthcare. A Transfer Learning-Based Framework for Enhanced Classification of Perceived Mental Stress Using EEG Spectrograms

Stress is a significant health concern, impacting both physical and mental well-being. Prolonged exposure to stress can lead to numerous physical health issues, including cardiovascular diseases, and a weakened immune system. This study presents a novel methodology for classifying perceived mental stress using electroencephalography (EEG) signals. By utilizing the publicly available Leipzig Study for Mind-Body-Emotion Interactions dataset, we analyze EEG data collected from 53 participants over a 7-minute resting-state duration. Our approach involves transforming EEG signals into spectrograms using the Short-Time Fourier Transform (STFT), resulting in a time-frequency representation of the input signals. We employ transfer learning to fine-tune three pre-trained deep neural networks i.e., ResNet50, EfficientNetB0, and DenseNet121 for classifying stress into two and three levels. Our findings demonstrate that the ResNet50 model achieves superior classification accuracies of 95.80% and 86.02% for two and three-level stress classification, respectively, outperforming existing state-of-the-art methods. This study is the first to utilize STFT-generated spectrograms and transfer learning for perceived stress classification, highlighting the efficacy of deep learning techniques in quantifying perceived mental stress through non-invasive EEG recordings. Our results indicate that the proposed method can significantly enhance the accuracy of stress classification frameworks, offering potential improvements in mental health assessment and intervention strategies. © 2013 IEEE.

Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) systems are known to perform poorly in recognition of atypical speech, which certainly includes emotional speech. The labor-intensive nature of developing comprehensive speech databases for training purposes has led to the widespread adoption of synthetic speech data generation, utilizing existing natural speech, in numerous research studies. This paper examines the impact of standard data augmentation techniques, including pitch shifting, time stretching and volume adjustment on the accuracy of isolated-word recognizer of emotional speech. The experiments carried out indicate a significant increase in accuracy achieved through a single augmentation based on pitch-shifting for all emotional states. © 2024 IEEE.
