Schizophrenia is a chronic mental disorder with distorted thinking, hallucinations, and social difficulties. Early diagnosis is vital, but current methods are limited. This research proposes a web-based application integrating machine learning, emotion recognition, and game-based elements to track symptoms and aid in early diagnosis. Interactive exercises focus on specific symptoms like cognitive evaluation, emotional analysis, and memory assessment. By combining computer science, psychology, and machine learning, the project aims to improve early detection and ultimately enhance the quality of life for affected individuals. Key components include using Deep Convolutional Neural Network (DCNN) architecture for recognizing facial and physical expressions associated with schizophrenia with an 87% accuracy rate, and utilizing Vector Regressor (SVR) with a 93% accuracy rate, along with Vision Transformer (ViT) and Custom CNN models for cognitive assessment, achieving accuracy rates of 99% and 98%, respectively. © 2024 IEEE.

In the recent digital era security has become more challenging. There is a plethora of ways to find solution to ensure monitor the system and provide required security. Key logger is one of the cyber attacks which record the key strokes of the targeted systems or devices from the host person. In other words, the program retrieves vital information such as login credentials, passwords and other sensitive information. There are many types of key logger, software key loggers is one of the key logger type which use software applications to collect the information from the targeted machine to host machine. It is indeed difficult to trace the software key logger because it runs in background without any noticeable signs. However, there are some signs like network traffic and unexpected activity. This paper concentrates on the implementation of key logger and its observation using python file, JavaScript file and etc. © 2024 IEEE.

This research introduces a sophisticated framework for real-time video captioning that seamlessly integrates a cohesive ensemble of machine learning *** development of open-domain video descriptions that can manage variable-length input (sequences of words) and output (sequences of frames)while being sensitive to temporal structure is required due tothe complex dynamics present in real-world films. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks are used to extract descriptive narratives and brief summaries from movies. LSTMs have demonstrated state-of- the-art performance in the generation of picture captions andare great at capturing sequential information. Our algorithmis trained on pairs of videos and matching texts to provide relevant captions for video events. It gains the ability to connecta string of words to a sequence of video frames. The modelnot only learns the temporal structure inside the sequence of frames, but also develops a language model for generating coherent and contextually relevant sentences. Our approach usesthe VGG16 model to extract visual features, which results in a rich representation of the video information. These visual cues, along with the LSTM-based sequence-to-sequence model, enable the production of elaborate captions that faithfully capture the temporal dynamics and visual aspects of the video clips. © 2024 IEEE.

Indonesia has entered a period of demographic bonus. Human resources must be optimized. The number of children who do not in employment, education or training (NEET) in each province needs attention. Several factors that could contribute to the decline in the NEET percentage are literacy rates and the number of adolescents with computer skills. Increasing these two factors is believed to be able to reduce the percentage of NEET in every province in Indonesia. To find out the relationship between these two factors and how much influence they have on the percentage of NEET, this research is modeled by Cauchy regression and includes spatial effects. The results of the analysis show that the best model is when the spatial effect is modeled by Fernandez Steel Skew Normal conditionally autoregressive (FSSN CAR). This result is seen from the smallest value of the Watanabe Akaike Information Criterion (WAIC) in this model, which is 190.5. The parameter estimated shows that the higher the literacy rate and the number of adolescents with computer skills, the lower the percentage of NEET in each province in Indonesia. The results of this research can be useful for the Indonesian government to increase the number of educational facilities related to these two factors. © (2024), (International Association of Engineers). Aspect’s extraction is a critical task in aspect-based sentiment analysis,including explicit and implicit aspects *** extensive research has identified explicit aspects,little effort has been put forward on implicit aspects extraction due to the complexity of the ***,existing research on implicit aspect identification is widely carried out on product reviews targeting specific aspects while neglecting sentences’dependency ***,in this paper,a multi-level knowledge engineering approach for identifying implicit movie aspects is *** proposed method first identifies explicit aspects using a variant of BiLSTM and CRF(Bidirectional Long Short Memory-Conditional Random Field),which serve as a memory to process dependent sentences to infer implicit *** can identify implicit aspects from four types of sentences,including independent and three types of dependent *** study is evaluated on a largemovie reviews dataset with 50k *** experimental results showed that the explicit aspect identification method achieved 89%F1-score and implicit aspect extraction methods achieved 76%*** addition,the proposed approach also performs better than the state-of-the-art techniques(NMFIAD andML-KB+)on the product review dataset,where it achieved 93%precision,92%recall,and 93%F1-score.

Real-time understanding and response to human emotions have become critical in today’s connected world of prevalent human-computer interaction. This study presents a novel approach to real-time emotion detection using a camera-based system that analyzes both voice and facial expressions. Our method advances the state-of-the-art by integrating deep learning techniques with parallel models for audio and visual inputs through a weighted fusion approach, a strategy not commonly employed in existing systems. Utilizing datasets such as CK+48 and the Ryerson Audio-Visual Database of Emotional Speech and Song (Ravdess), our system achieves superior performance metrics, including an accuracy of up to 92.92% and an F1 score of 92.94%. Encapsulated within a user-friendly microservice with an intuitive online interface, our solution enables seamless real-time interaction using only a webcam and microphone. Ongoing efforts focus on refining the system’s ability to recognize diverse voices and expressions, aiming to create technology that empathizes with human emotions and enhances interpersonal interactions. ©2024 IEEE.

Post-installed anchors are commonly used for steel-to-concrete connections, attributable to ease of installation as drilling technology advances. Besides, they offer the advantage of minimizing misalignment issues during construction compared to cast-in anchors. The anchor design calculations in EN 1992-4:2018 can be daunting for practicing engineers, given its complexity and state-of-the-art compared to ETAG 001 (2013). In an earlier publication, the authors described a methodology for simplifying the complex empirical equations in EN 1992-4:2018 for designing the tensile capacity of post-installed anchors into a simplified design tool. This work is a sequel to the previous work to develop a simplified design tool for estimating the design shear capacity of post-installed anchors (mechanical and bonded anchors) encompassing all failure modes. The calculation was first automated using a spreadsheet for the characteristic shear resistance of anchors and was verified using Hilti PROFIS engineering software. The simplified design tool is summarized based on the lowest resistance of the anchor encompassing all failure modes. The design tool is demonstrated for an example of a 125 mm thick C30/37 concrete slab for commonly available anchor sizes of M8, M10, M12, M16, M20, and M24. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Electric load is characterized by uncertainty, randomness, and volatility, so accurate prediction will be challenging. This paper thus comes up with a hybrid prediction model called CEEMDAN-SSA-BiGRU Attention to predict the load. First, it preprocesses the load data from a selected power grid in Chicago, USA, from 2012 to 2015. Then, the load data is divided into a series of IMF sequences combined with the original data, shaping a new feature set using CEEMDAN (Complete Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition with Adaptive Noise). SSA (Sparrow search algorithm) optimized the hyperparameter of the BiGRU Attention network, and the network processed the new feature set to make predictions. The results from the experiments show that the judgment coefficient (R-square, R2) of the model, the root mean square error (RMSE), and the mean absolute error (MAE) are 90.2%, 51618, and 39470, respectively. The three indexes are much better than other models and have a higher forecast precision degree and stable ability, which shows the model's superiority in long-term load forecasting.. © 2024 IEEE.

Black silicon (b-Si) is a nanostructured surface modification with excellent optical properties and is an attractive candidate for optoelectronic applications. In this work, a preliminary simulation study is done to determine the optical properties of b-Si layers on silicon photovoltaic cells for thermophotovoltaic applications. Finite-difference time-domain method was used to simulate the optical responses of b-Si photovoltaic cells. Black silicon nanostructures of about 50 to 650 nm in diameter and 200 to 1800 nm in height were studied. The optical properties improved with decreasing nanostructure diameter and increasing height. The light trapping properties in these nanostructures were discussed and were attributed to the refractive index gradients of the b-Si layer. © Institute of Technology PETRONAS Sdn Bhd (Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS) 2024.
