Current trend projected the global population to increase to 9 billion by the year 2050 which will increase the demand of food production by around 70%. The agricultural sector also supplies produce to bio-based products such as bioenergy and bioplastics which is also increasing the demand for crops. However, the situation is not as simple as planting more crops, as current agricultural practices are not sustainable. Environmental impact and climate changes could be reduced with the utilization of indoor farming could bring about a more sustainable farming solution. Combined with the utilization of precision farming solutions such as IoT based sensors and robotic systems indoor farming could become the next step in sustainable farming. The implementation of precision farming in indoor farming comes with its problems which may cause a challenge in the development and deployment period. This paper serves as the preliminary research for the development of a robotic system to be deployed at Sarawak's Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC)'s greenhouse. © 2024 IEEE.

ChatGPT is a powerful artificial intelligence(AI)language model that has demonstrated significant improvements in various natural language processing(NLP) tasks. However, like any technology, it presents potential security risks that need to be carefully evaluated and addressed. In this survey, we provide an overview of the current state of research on security of using ChatGPT, with aspects of bias, disinformation, ethics, misuse,attacks and privacy. We review and discuss the literature on these topics and highlight open research questions and future *** this survey, we aim to contribute to the academic discourse on AI security, enriching the understanding of potential risks and mitigations. We anticipate that this survey will be valuable for various stakeholders involved in AI development and usage, including AI researchers, developers, policy makers, and end-users.

Optimizing Image Retrieval in Cloud Servers with TN-AGW: A Secure and Efficient Approach

The increasing use of cloud-based image storage and retrieval systems has made ensuring security and efficiency crucial. The security enhancement of image retrieval and image archival in cloud computing has received considerable attention in transmitting data and ensuring data confidentiality among cloud servers and users. Various traditional image retrieval techniques regarding security have developed in recent years but they do not apply to large-scale environments. This paper introduces a new approach called Triple network-based adaptive grey wolf (TN-AGW) to address these challenges. The TN-AGW framework combines the adaptability of the Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) algorithm with the resilience of Triple Network (TN) to enhance image retrieval in cloud servers while maintaining robust security measures. By using adaptive mechanisms, TN-AGW dynamically adjusts its parameters to improve the efficiency of image retrieval processes, reducing latency and utilization of resources. However, the image retrieval process is efficiently performed by a triple network and the parameters employed in the network are optimized by Adaptive Grey Wolf (AGW) optimization. Imputation of missing values, Min–Max normalization, and Z-score standardization processes are used to preprocess the images. The image extraction process is undertaken by a modified convolutional neural network (MCNN) approach. Moreover, input images are taken from datasets such as the Landsat 8 dataset and the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) dataset is employed for image retrieval. Further, the performance such as accuracy, precision, recall, specificity, F1-score, and false alarm rate (FAR) is evaluated, the value of accuracy reaches 98.1%, the precision of 97.2%, recall of 96.1%, and specificity of 917.2% respectively. Indoor Uncertain Semantic Trajectory Similarity Join

With the widespread deployment of indoor positioning systems, an unprecedented scale of indoor trajectories is being produced. By considering the inherent uncertainties and the text information contained in such an indoor trajectory, a new definition named Indoor Uncertain Semantic Trajectory is defined in this paper. In this paper, we focus on a new primitive, yet quite essential query named Indoor Uncertain Semantic Trajectory Similarity Join (IUST-Join for short), which is to match all similar pairs of indoor uncertain semantic trajectories from two sets. IUST-Join targets a number of essential indoor applications. With these applications in mind, we provide a purposeful definition of an indoor uncertain semantic trajectory similarity metric named IUS. To process IUST-Join more efficiently, both an inverted index on indoor uncertain semantic trajectories named 3IST and the first acceleration strategy are proposed to form a filtering-and-verification framework, where most invalid pairs of indoor uncertain semantic trajectories are pruned at quite low computation cost. And based on this filtering-and-verification framework, we present a highly-efficient algorithm named Indoor Uncertain Semantic Trajectory Similarity Join Processing (USP for short). In addition, lots of novel and effective acceleration strategies are proposed and embedded in the USP algorithm. Thanks to these techniques, both the time complexity and the time overhead of the USP algorithm are further reduced. The results of extensive experiments demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed work.

Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) is the revolution that promotes customized and flexible mass production technologies in automation and manufacturing processes. The application of industrial revolution 4.0, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber-Physical System (CPS), and big data, are used in the water industry to provide better water quality, accurate real-time data, etc. This paper compiles IR 4.0 technology applications, advantages, disadvantages, impacts, and challenges in the water sector, including water supply, wastewater treatment, and stormwater management. It is found that the current water industry is facing a few challenges, such as managing water services, balancing water costs with energy prices, maintaining aging water and wastewater infrastructure, and environmental issues. However, with the application of numerous IR 4.0 innovations, all the challenges can be solved or minimized. Meanwhile, the advantages and impacts of adopting IR 4.0 in water industries are thoroughly discussed. Despite the numerous advantages of IR 4.0, significant drawbacks have restricted the adoption of IR 4.0 in the water industry. The high start-up cost, reluctance, uncertainty, and problems of adopting IR 4.0 are some key challenges that need to be addressed. An Improved Robust Sparse Convex Clustering

Job Resumes Recommendation using Integration of Fuzzy Discernibility Matrix Feature Selection and Convolutional Neural Network Multi-label Text Classification

The manual analysis of job resumes poses specific challenges, including the time-intensive process and the high likelihood of human error, emphasizing the need for automation in content-based recommendations. Recent advancements in deep learning, particularly Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) for Multi-label Text Classification (MLTC), offer a promising solution for addressing these challenges through artificial intelligence. While CNN is renowned for its robust feature extraction capabilities, it faces specific challenges such as managing high-dimensional data and poor data interpretability. To address these limitations, this study employs the Fuzzy Discernibility Matrix (FDM) feature selection technique to determine the relevance of skills for each job vacancy. FDM assigns weights to the features of each job category and ranks their relevance based on the highest scores, which are then utilized in the MLTC CNN model. The integration of FDM and MLTC CNN serves as the foundation for generating content-based recommendations derived from key features in job resumes. This study produces a content-based job recommendation system that displays the top three job categories, accompanied by explanations of the skills supporting each selected category. These recommendations also consider cosine similarity values between analyzed items and the integrated results of FDM and MLTC CNN. The application of FDM for feature weighting has been proven to enhance multi-label text classification outcomes by providing better insights during the feature selection process. With a recall of 97.26%, precision of 94.81%, and accuracy of 98.58%, the MLTC model integrating FDM feature selection and CNN demonstrates robust performance characteristics in content-based job recommendation tasks. © 2025 Slovene Society Informatika.
