Brain tumor segmentation is one of the most challenging problems in medical image analysis. The goal of brain tumor segmentation is to generate accurate delineation of brain tumor regions. In recent years, deep learning methods have shown promising performance in solving various computer vision problems, such as image classification, object detection and semantic segmentation. A number of deep learning based methods have been applied to brain tumor segmentation and achieved promising results. Considering the remarkable breakthroughs made by state-of-the-art technologies, we use this survey to provide a comprehensive study of recently developed deep learning based brain tumor segmentation techniques. More than 100 scientific papers are selected and discussed in this survey, extensively covering technical aspects such as network architecture design, segmentation under imbalanced conditions, and multi-modality processes. A Numerical Investigation of 3D MHD Rotating Flow with Binary Chemical Reaction,Activation Energy and Non-Fourier Heat Flux

In this investigation we analyze the rotating three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic flow of Maxwell fluid in attendance of binary chemical reaction with activation energy. Furthermore, effects of non-Fourier heat flux are taken into account. Formulation is done in the presence of heat and mass convective boundary conditions. Self-similar forms from boundary layer equations are obtained using apposite transformations. Numerical solution is obtained via built-in bvp-4c function in MATLAB for the system of differential equations. Effects of ensuing parameters on flow distributions are portrayed graphically. It is witnessed that increasing values of rotational parameter lowers the velocity profile and both Biot numbers have escalating effect on temperature and concentration distributions. A comparative study to a previously done investigation is also included to corroborate our results.

This article studies the problem of detecting cerebral micro-bleeds (CMBs) using a convolutional neural network (CNN). Cerebral micro-bleeds (CMBs) are increasingly recognized neuroimaging findings, occurring with cerebrovascular diseases, dementia, and normal aging. Naturally enough, it becomes necessary to detect CMBs in the early stages of life. The focus of this article is to infuse new techniques like Bayesian optimization to find the optimum set of hyper-parameters efficiently, making even the simplest of CNN architectures perform well on the problem. Experimentally, we observe our CNN (five layers, i.e., two convolution, two pooling, and one fully connected) achieves accuracy = 98.97%, sensitivity = 99.66%, specificity = 98.14%, and precision = 98.54% on the test set (hold-out validation) when calculated over an average of ten runs. Upshot of Chemical Species and Nonlinear Thermal Radiation on Oldroyd-B Nanofluid Flow Past a Bi-directional Stretched Surface with Heat Generation/Absorption in a Porous Media

A three-dimensional mathematical model is developed to examine the flow of nonlinear thermal radiation Oldroyd-B nanofluid past a bidirectional linearly stretched surface in a porous medium. The flow is induced by temperature dependent thermal conductivity, chemical reaction and convective heat and mass conditions. Novel characteristics of Brownian motion and thermophoresis are accompanied by magnetohydrodynamic and heat generation/***-similar transformations are employed to convert the system of nonlinear partial differential equations to a system of ordinary differential equations with high nonlinearity and are solved by strong analytic technique named as Homotopy Analysis method(HAM). Effects of varied arising parameters on involved distributions are reflected through graphical illustrations. From this study, it is perceived that strong magnetic field hinders the fluid's motion and leads to rise in temperature that eventually lowers heat transfer rate from the surface. Further, decrease in heat transfer rate is also observed for enhanced values of thermal radiation parameter. To validate our results, a comparison with already published paper in limiting case is also given and results are found in excellent oncurrence; hence reliable results are being presented.

Soils are heavily impacted by geogenic and anthropogenic factors. They form an integral part in supporting agriculture, and the natural climate. This study investigated the soil chemistry in the Wassa and Prestea-Huni Valley areas in southwestern Ghana using the RCCI technique and multivariate statistics with utilizing a total of 300 soil samples. The results showed that 43%, 98%, 50%, and 100% of the samples exceeded the standards respectively for As, Ba, Co, and Cu. Meanwhile, for Cr, Ni, Mn, Fe, and Zn, 50%, 54%, 5%, 46%, and 71% were above their guideline values. The RCCI computation showed that 2%, 15%, 48%, 34%, and 1% of the samples were within lower, medium, moderate, high, and very high ranges respectively. The interpolation of the RCCI results revealed sparse but concentrated hotspot areas around mid-Wassa Amenfi Central, mid- towards the north of the Wassa Amenfi West and East Districts. Also, the K-means and ANOVA outputs showed that Cu and Ni contributed significantly to the chemistry of the soil. The EOF 1 showed a weighted sum of V, Fe, Cu, Ni, Zn, Ba, Cr, Ag, and Pb. Inferentially, these contained the highest signals of the data and predominantly influenced the quality and variability of the soils. The variations shown in the levels of the assessed elements across the areas suggest that processes impacting elemental accumulation and enrichment were influenced by different processes. These could also impact other environmental media including surface and groundwater quality, vegetation, and air quality. Residents within hotspot areas may be exposed to several deleterious health impacts through oral, nasal and dermal routes. This could further pose public health challenges down the line as these elements come into contact with people through the consumption of crops and groundwater obtained from the areas in future. A 3-D new chaotic system with five nonlinearities is proposed in this paper. A novel feature of our chaotic system is that there is no linear term in it. We also show that the chaotic system consists of equilibrium points on the z-axis (line equilibrium) as well as two equilibrium points on the (x, y)-plane. The dynamical properties of the new chaotic system are described in terms of phase portraits, bifurcation diagram, Lyapunov exponents, coexisting attractors, coexisting bifurcation and offset boosting control. Finally, an electronic circuit realization of the new chaotic system is presented in detail to confirm the feasibility of the theoretical chaotic model. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Information security has become a significant problem for the use of information technology, especially for universities that have a lot of data. Information security policy is one solution to ensure data security. However, compliance is a classic problem in information security that face by an organization when applied policy. Effect of users who do not comply with information security policies both from internal and external. Research on this subject was surveyed to find out the leadership perspective on compliance with information security policies and to explore the university's need to evaluate user compliance. This research was conducted in a survey using a closed-ended questionnaire given to manager level of the university. The data processed with descriptive statistics. This research founded management realized the importance of compliance with information security policies to reduce information security incidents. Universities need appropriate model to evaluate information security policy compliance. This understanding will help improve predictions of the impact of complying with information security policies. © 2019 IEEE.

Sp(2N) gauge theories with fermonic matter provide an ideal laboratory to build extensions of the standard model based on novel composite dynamics. Examples include composite Higgs along with top partial compositeness and composite dark matter. Without fermions, their study also complements those based on SU(Nc) gauge theories with which they share a common sector in the large Nc = 2N limit. We report on our recent progress in the numerical studies of Sp(2N) gauge theories discretised on a four-dimensional Euclidean lattice. In particular, we present preliminary results for the low-lying mass spectra of mesons and chimera baryons in the theories with N = 2. We also compute the topological susceptibility for various values of N, extrapolate the results to the large N limit, and discuss certain universal properties in Yang-Mills theories. © 2022, CC BY.

Software developers rely on obfuscation techniques for protecting their source code against reverse engineering attacks. Most of the obfuscation techniques are not based on well-defined measurements to clarify their effectiveness in protecting the source code from both dynamic and static analysis by human subjects. This paper presents an experimental technique towards the aim to provide an assessment tool that investigates the impact of control flow obfuscation on software protection against human attacks. The main objective is to estimate how the obfuscation prevents or limits the ability of the attacker to understand or comprehend and to alter or perform any modification on the source code. An experiment was designed to assess the capabilities of the control flow obfuscation technique with the opaque predicates in preventing or limiting the attacks on source code. As a result of the statistical analysis used in this paper, it is shown that the presence of obfuscation on source code increases seven times the difficulties for the attacker to successfully complete the understanding task. Also, the control flow obfuscation significantly reduces the capability of subjects to correctly perform the understanding tasks while there is no significant difference for modification tasks. Also, it is shown that the presence of obfuscation on source code increases the amount of time needed for subjects to alter or perform modification and understand the source code.
