This study investigates a range of data security models developed to achieve data security using blockchain technology for different industrial domains. Current industries utilize data-driven mechanisms for decision making with concern focussed on ensuring data security. Blockchain has the potential to secure data by integrating different information systems since data is decentralized, encrypted and validated by the whole network. This study includes an analysis of blockchain security models using data extracted from 30 peer-reviewed scientific publications over two years (2017-2019). This study analyzed three components of the publications, including the process involved in securing data, the stage of development for securing data and in which industry a model is best applied. Results of the research show that the majority of articles (51.11%) cited Blockchain as a key feature of data security for improvising the data sharing process in industries. This study also finds that the stage of implementation most commonly featured is the proposal stage with potential architectures yet to be implemented (30%). Finally, this study shows that models are applied in industrial domains such as enterprises using data analytics, finance, Internet of Things (IoT), healthcare, education, and cloud service providers. This study finds that security models are most often applied to industries and supply chain management models (28.13%). It is recommended that industry professionals conduct further research to customize the data security models in their own domain. This study gives clear guidelines to researchers of suitable frameworks, processes and consensus mechanism to utilize Blockchain in Industries for data security. © 2019 IEEE.

Recycling of unused powder for laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) additive manufacturing is vital for its manufacturing sustainability. It is widely reported that the powder oxidation occurs during manufacturing and the oxygen levels of recycled Ti6Al4V powder continues to increase with increasing number of powder reuse. However, the impact of powder oxidation during laser-matter interaction, such as the melt pool dynamics, spatter, surface roughness and defects during L-PBF are not well understood. This study investigates the influence of Ti6Al4V powder with low (0.12 wt.%) and high-oxygen-content (0.40 wt.%) during multilayer thin-wall L-PBF part manufacturing using in situ synchrotron high speed X-ray imaging. The results indicated that the high-O-content powder particles had a positive effect in reducing melt ejections, surface roughness, and defect population in the built parts. The part produced from the high-O-content powder displayed higher microhardness possibly due to the solid solution strengthening mechanism and no obvious difference in the microstructure was observed. © 2022, The Authors. Oral cancer is a widespread and complex cancer with a high severity. Oral cancer is the eighth most common cancer in the world in India, with 130,000 deaths in each year. The tumor occurs in the salivary glands, tonsils, as well as in the neck, face and mouth. There are various diagnostic methods for oral cancer, such as a biopsy, in which a small tissue sample is taken from a part of the body and tested under a microscope also some screening methods. But the downside is that cannot clearly identify cancer cells and cannot classify the number of cells affected by cancer, so in this work cancer cells will find and classify that affected in the oral area through digital processing technology. The use of advanced technologies and an in-depth learning algorithm are possible for early detection and classification. This work uses three characteristics-extracting techniques such as the bag histogram of oriented gradients, wavelet features and the Zernike Moment. Once retrieving the texture characteristics, the fuzzy particle swarm optimization algorithm (FPSO) is applied to choose the best characteristic. Finally, these characteristics were classified using the Convolution Neural Network (CNN) classifier. For comparison of the efficiency of the proposed method, Recall Rate, Classification Accuracy, Precision Rate, and Error Rate. Evaluation outcomes demonstrated that the combination of ABC, FPSO and CNN performs better in the detection of oral cancer.

The nuclear waste problem is one of the main interests of the rare earth and actinide elements chemistry. Studies of Actinide-containing compounds are at the frontier of the applications of current theoretical methods due to the need to consider relativistic effects and approximations to the Dirac equation in them. Here, we employ four-component relativistic quantum calculations and scalar approximations to understand the contribution of f-type atomic orbitals in the chemical bonding of actinides (Ac) to organic ligands. We studied the relativistic quantum structure of an isostructural family made of Plutonium (Pu), Americium (Am), Californium (Cf), and Berkelium (Bk) atoms with the redox-active model ligand;DOPO (2,4,6,8-tetra-tert-butyl-1-oxo-1H-phenoxazin-9-olate). Crystallographic structures were available to validate our calculations for all mentioned elements except for Cf. In short, state-of-the-art relativistic calculations were performed at different levels of theory to investigate the relativistic effects and electron correlations on geometrical structures and bonding energies of Ac-DOPO3 complexes (Ac=Pu, Am, Cf, Bk): 1) the scalar relativistic zeroth order regular approximation (ZORA) within the hybrid density functional theory (DFT) and 2) the four-component Dirac equation with the Dirac-Hartree-Fock (4c-DHF) and Lévy-Leblond (LL) Hamiltonians. We show that scalar DFT-ZORA could be used as an efficient theoretical approximation to first approximate the geometry and electronic properties of actinides which are difficult to synthesize or characterize;but knowing that the higher levels of theory, like the 4c-DHF, gives closer results to experiments than the scalar DFT-ZORA. We also performed spin-free calculations of geometric parameters for the Americium and Berkelium compounds. The energy consumption is increasing at an alarming rate due to the growth of world population. Hybrid renewable energy system (HRES) is becoming more trending as the sources involved such as wind and solar radiation to generate energy is environmental friendly, renewable and sustainable while cost free. Hybrid renewable energy is more reliable, stable and efficient compared to the single renewable energy. Furthermore, the limitation of energy production using single renewable energy will improve by combining two or more such system to form HRES. Solar and wind energy acts as a compensation for each other and the combination of these two systems will be able to satisfy energy demand to a certain degree. This review paper includes various and appropriate sizing and optimization techniques involved to optimize HRES in order to achieve the energy demand while minimizing the cost required. © 2018 IEEE.

This study explores a method for managing web content based on intelligent technologies, as a stage of the content life cycle in e-commerce systems. Privacy Preserving Threat Hunting in Smart Home Environments

The recent proliferation of smart home environments offers new and transformative circumstances for various domains with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life and experience of their inhabitants. However, most of these environments combine different gadgets offered by multiple stakeholders in a dynamic and decentralized manner, which in turn presents new challenges from the perspective of digital investigation. In addition, a plentiful amount of data records got generated because of the day-to-day interactions between smart home’s gadgets and homeowners, which poses difficulty in managing and analyzing such data. The analysts should endorse new digital investigation approaches and practices to tackle the current limitations in traditional digital investigations when used in these environments. The digital evidence in such environments can be found inside the records of log-files that store the historical events and various actions occurred inside the smart home. Threat hunting can leverage the collective nature of these gadgets, the vengeful artifacts observed on smart home environments can be shared between each other to gain deeper insights into the best way for responding to new threats, which in turn can be valuable in reducing the impact of breaches. Nevertheless, this approach depends mainly on the readiness of smart homeowners to share their own personal usage logs that have been extracted from their smart home environments. However, they might disincline to employ such service due to the sensitive nature of the information logged by their personal gateways. In this paper, we presented an approach to enable smart homeowners to share their usage logs in a privacy-preserving manner. A distributed threat hunting approach has been developed to elicit the various threat reputations with effective privacy guarantees. In this paper, a flexible tri-band reflective metasurface, the metapocket, is presented to work with smartphone antennas to enhance its realized gain, and radiation efficiency and reduce its Specific Absorption Rate (SAR). Considering the limitation of the on-body scenario, the metasurface unit cell number is considered as a variable, and an artificial intelligence-driven method (the self-adaptive Bayesian neural network surrogate-model-assisted differential evolution for antenna optimization (SB-SADEA)) is applied to achieve the optimal performance. The designed reflection phase operates at 2.33-2.44 GHz (WIFI band), 3.39-3.56 GHz (5G N77 band) and 5.05-5.39 GHz (WLAN band). Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) substrate is utilized for good flexibility and biocompatibility. A state-of-the-art 5G smartphone (VIVO IQOO) is employed in both simulation and measurement. In free space, realized gain enhancement by 4.23, 4.67, 5.8 dB are achieved, radiation efficiency enhancement by 16.6%, 11.5%, 12.1% are achieved, respectively. Furthermore, calculated SAR reduction by 90.2%, 88.9%, 89.9% are achieved. All results verify that the proposed tri-band metapocket is of significant value to smartphone antenna performance in an on-body scenario. © 2002-2011 IEEE.

In addition to satellite-based and airborne-based earth observation sensors, the citizen-based sensors have been recently playing its role in timely data acquisition. The term Volunteered Geographic Information (VGI) started its infancy stage in early 2007 when citizens have broad access to social media networks such as Twitter. In 2009, Twitter released the location service that enables its users to publish tweets with latitude and longitude. The availability of this ubiquitous and location-acquisition technology allows tagging of location information and hence, a collection of location-based Twitter data. However, noisy data from users through this media service need to go through the processes particularly text analytics and data visualization to make the data understandable and representable for scientific usages and sense-making. This paper surveys the techniques underlying the analytics processes in Twitter data by studying and comparing the techniques used in selected research papers in between 2011 and 2016, before producing the taxonomies for the techniques. Classification of the techniques is conducted by creating different sub-sets of different categorization. This taxonomy is to provide a classification of usages and its potential usages, particularly for location-based data. Opportunities and challenges are presented to ensure a successful development of any location-based systems in the future. Comparison of distance measurements to dust clouds using GRB X-ray halos and 3D dust extinction

X-ray photons from energetic sources such as gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) can be scattered on dust clouds in the Milky Way, creating a time-evolving halo around the GRB position. X-ray observations of such halos allow the measurement of dust clouds distances in the Galaxy on which the scattering occurs. We present the first systematic comparison of the distances to scattering regions derived from GRB halos with the 3D dust distribution derived from recently published optical-to-near infrared extinction maps. GRB halos were observed around 7 sources by the Swift XRT and the XMM-Newton EPIC instruments, namely GRB 031203, GRB 050713A, GRB 050724, GRB 061019, GRB 070129, GRB 160623A and GRB 221009A. We used four 3D extinction maps that exploit photometric data from different surveys and apply diverse algorithms for the 3D mapping of extinction, and compared the X-ray halo-derived distances with the local maxima in the 3D extinction density distribution. We found that in all GRBs we can find at least one local maximum in the 3D dust extinction map that is in agreement with the dust distance measured from X-ray rings. For GRBs with multiple X-ray rings, the dust distance measurements coincide with at least 3 maxima in the extinction map for GRB 160623A, and 5 maxima for GRB 221009A. The agreement of these independent distance measurements shows that the methods used to create dust extinction maps may potentially be optimized by the X-ray halo observations from GRBs.
