Gamification is a technique that uses game mechanics and aspects to engage and inspire people to complete a task. Gamification has grown in popularity in several industries recently, including software development. The purpose of this systematic literature review (SLR) is to review the most recent findings in the field of gamification's application to agile methodology between the years 2015 and 2024. With the help of search terms like "gamification," "agile methodology," and "game mechanics," "agile development," a thorough scan of databases including the IEEE Xplore, and Scopus was carried out. Articles and studies released in English were examined. Data were extracted analysed using a spreadsheet to organize information such as study design, sample size, research setting, kinds of game mechanics used, and major findings. To combine the results from the chosen studies and discover any recurring themes or patterns, a thematic analysis method was used. The findings of this SRL points to areas for further study and contributes to understanding the benefits and best practices of using gamification in agile methodology and provides insights for practitioners and researchers in the field. © 2024 IEEE.

Online reviews play an integral part in making mobile applications stand out from the large number of applications available on the Google Play store. Predominantly, users consider posted reviews for appropriate app selection. Manual categorization of such reviews is both inefficient and time-consuming. Therefore, automatic analysis of the sentiments of such reviews provides fast suggestions for new users and facilitates their selection of the appropriate app. However, data imbalance is a major challenge for performing class prediction of such reviews as their distribution is sparse and often leads to low accuracy. This work proposes a framework to overcome this limitation. Extensive experiments are performed using the original and balanced data with the synthetic minority oversampling technique (SMOTE) and adaptive synthetic sampling (ADASYN). Additionally, deep learning and machine learning models are evaluated using FastText, FastText Subword, global vector (GloVe), and their combinations for word representation. Baseline machine learning models, including random forest, extra tree classifier, gradient boosting, Naive Bayes, logistic regression (LR), stochastic gradient descent (SGD), and voting classifier (VC) that combines LR and SGD, are used for comparison. The outcomes show that the convolutional neural network using a combination of word embedding techniques produces the most accurate results. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.

Many services have made the transition to the cloud because of the increased reliability and efficiency of cloud computing. Due to their capacity to ease service access while also securing communications in the public network, the three-factor Mutual Authentication and Key Agreement (MAKA) protocols are seeing increased use in multi-server designs. A lack of formal security proof or high communication and computation costs makes the limited three-factor MAKA protocols that are currently available susceptible to a wide range of attacks. The proposed approach consists of three phases, which are preprocessing, feature selection, and model training. Text scheduling and normalization make up preprocessing. In feature selection, the PSO is an optimization method that uses a population-based approach to find optimal solutions. An ANN-SVM was employed throughout the model's training phase. With an average accuracy of 93.30%, the proposed technique surpasses ANN and SVM. © 2024 IEEE.

Federated learning (FL) is an emerging paradigm using a parameter server (PS) to coordinate multiple decentralized clients for training a common model without exposing their raw data. Despite its amazing capability in preserving data privacy, FL confronts two significant challenges that have not been sufficiently addressed by existing works, which are: 1) heterogeneous data distributed on clients given that the PS cannot alter data locations. 2) limited computation resources of FL clients who may conduct model training with mobile devices. To tackle these challenges, we propose a novel federated one-shot transferring of intermediate features (FedOTF) algorithm. More specifically, FedOTF consists of two stages: feature extraction and model reconstruction. To overcome challenge 1, clients in stage 1 only collaboratively train a small model in a federated manner, with the objective to extract features. In stage 2, intermediate features (generated by the small model trained by stage 1) are transferred from clients to the PS so that a large model can be trained to overcome challenge 2. In addition, the design of FedOTF is robust, which can flexibly diminish the number of communication rounds of stage 1 when network capacity is limited, and reduce the amount of exposed features when privacy is concerned. To verify the superiority of FedOTF, we conduct comprehensive experiments with real datasets. The experiment results demonstrate that FedOTF can significantly improve the model utility of FL because a better model can be finally obtained by the PS without incurring heavy computational load on clients. Besides, we conduct robustness evaluation of FedOTF which can achieve stable performance when varying network capacity and privacy requirement. © 2023 IEEE.

Today, the day-to-day generation of such a large amount of content on social media and other websites makes it impossible to maintain each image manually, so the need for automatically identifying sensitive images and filtering them out becomes inevitable. This project proposes a sensitive image classification application using automatic captions in identifying and filtering inappropriate content. Thus, the information extracted from images by ResNet50 in the caption generation process is allowed to integrate such features with a standard model through Senti-Long Short-Term Memory networks (SLSTM) for better captioning. Deep learning models bring about drastically improved quality of captions along with contextual understanding. The captions are tested rigorously with training loss metrics, BLEU scores, and sentiment analysis through the VADER Sentiment Analyzer. This system efficiently categorizes images involving violence, negativity, or dangerous situations into the class of negative. A Flask-based web application was developed for implementing a scalable and user-friendly interface, ensuring efficient content moderation. This project has illustrated the possibility of integrating deep learning techniques with natural language processing to yield beneficial content moderation, further ensuring safe and controlled online environments.

Swarm intelligence is a class of nature-inspired metaheuristic algorithms, that is specifically derived from biological systems in nature with an emphasis on their social interactions. These algorithms have been primarily developed to solve complex combinatorial optimization problems and are extremely popular among researchers in metaheuristic algorithms. This is evident from the numerous published scientific papers describing algorithms inspired by biological systems, ranging from insects such as ants and bees to the largest animals on the planet like whales. All these algorithms share some common concepts and relationships that can be explicitly identified, named, and formalized. These shared concepts and relationships can be organized and represented through the construction of an ontology. The goal of this paper is to present a formal ontology that standardizes vocabulary, as well as a set of rules enabling precise communication and reasoning about these algorithms. Ultimately, this will improve our understanding, analysis, research processes, and utilization of these computational approaches. © 2023 IEEE.

This research investigates the strain-sensing capabilities and conductivity of graphene-PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride) nanocomposite films. With its exceptional electrical conductivity and transport properties, graphene is embedded in PVDF to enhance the films' thermal stability, flexibility, and mechanical strength. Various weight percentages of graphene-PVDF films were fabricated using solvent casting and subjected to strain analysis. Raman spectroscopy, including ID/IG ratio calculations and mapping, monitored strain responses and local variations. The study also incorporated Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) for surface roughness measurements and Broadband Dielectric Spectroscopy (BDS) to assess dielectric properties across frequencies from 1 Hz to 106 Hz. The films' electrical conductivity and mechanical properties were evaluated to optimize their use in microstrip patch antennas. The potential of graphene-PVDF films as conductive patches was explored, and simulated results were compared with real-time performance data. The findings suggest that graphene-PVDF films could replace traditional copper in antennas, offering tunable conductivity and flexibility, potentially leading to innovative applications in wearable technology and advanced sensor systems. © 2024 IEEE.

Stroke and cerebral haemorrhage are the second leading causes of death in the world after ischaemic heart *** this work,a dataset containing medical,physiological and environmental tests for stroke was used to evaluate the efficacy of machine learning,deep learning and a hybrid technique between deep learning and machine learning on theMagnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI)dataset for cerebral *** the first dataset(medical records),two features,namely,diabetes and obesity,were created on the basis of the values of the corresponding *** t-Distributed Stochastic Neighbour Embedding algorithm was applied to represent the high-dimensional dataset in a low-dimensional data ***,the Recursive Feature Elimination algorithm(RFE)was applied to rank the features according to priority and their correlation to the target feature and to remove the unimportant *** features are fed into the various classification algorithms,namely,Support Vector Machine(SVM),K Nearest Neighbours(KNN),Decision Tree,Random Forest,and Multilayer *** algorithms achieved superior *** Random Forest algorithm achieved the best performance amongst the algorithms;it reached an overall accuracy of 99%.This algorithm classified stroke cases with Precision,Recall and F1 score of 98%,100%and 99%,*** the second dataset,the MRI image dataset was evaluated by using the AlexNet model and AlexNet+SVM hybrid *** hybrid model AlexNet+SVM performed is better than the AlexNet model;it reached accuracy,sensitivity,specificity and Area Under the Curve(AUC)of 99.9%,100%,99.80%and 99.86%,respectively.

This research introduces cloud-powered virtual doctor robots to improve elderly care and chronic illness management. This system uses recurrent neural networks (RNNs) to give personalized medical care to elderly chronic disease patients. These virtual doctor robots may integrate with cloud computing infrastructure to access huge medical databases for real-time patient data analysis and individualized treatment and care suggestions. Healthcare technology has advanced by using RNNs to learn from patient data, adapt to changing health situations, and predict prospective health issues. RNNs can interpret sequential data, thus virtual doctor robots may identify trends in patient health parameters, forecast illness development, and suggest risk mitigation strategies. Cloud-powered virtual doctor robots provide a scalable solution to conventional healthcare systems rising issues. These robots can work effectively in resource-constrained areas by offloading computational chores to distant servers, providing continuous medical expertise and lowering healthcare staff reliance. This technique might improve aged care and reduce load on overworked healthcare systems. Using proactive monitoring, timely intervention, and personalized guidance, virtual doctor robots with RNNs can improve health outcomes, empower patients to manage chronic conditions, and create a more sustainable healthcare model. © 2024 IEEE.
