For e-commerce marketplaces, counterfeit goods are a major issue since they endanger public safety in addition to causing customer unhappiness and revenue loss. Traditional techniques to identify fake goods in online marketplaces take too long and have a narrow reach, hence they are ineffective. Machine learning algorithms have become a potential tool for swiftly and precisely identifying counterfeit goods in recent years. The usefulness of two machine learning algorithms in identifying fake goods in online marketplaces is examined in this research. The study assesses the performance using a sizable dataset of descriptions, title, prices, and seller names from many well-known e-commerce platforms. The study's findings show that machine learning algorithms significantly affect the detection of fake goods in online marketplaces. © 2023 IEEE.

As healthcare services have become increasingly digitized, Electronic Health Records (EHRs) have become widely adopted, providing seamless data exchange among providers. Conventional EHRs, however, are extremely vulnerable to cyber threats because patients' sensitive data is centralized and transmitted electronically. The paper proposes a decentralized, privacy-preserving framework for managing EHRs on blockchains in order to address these security and privacy concerns. Using cryptographic techniques, such as homomorphic encryption and zero-knowledge proofs, the proposed system enhances security and ensures data integrity. Additionally, the model facilitates scalable, efficient, and secure access to patient records through the integration of cloud-based storage and blockchain. Using smart contracts, we also ensure compliance with healthcare regulations by regulating access control and authentication. As a result of performance evaluations, the proposed approach is demonstrated to be feasible, and the advantages it offers in terms of security, privacy, and efficiency are highlighted. © 2025 The Authors

Cardiac diseases are one of the greatest global health *** to the high annual mortality rates,cardiac diseases have attracted the attention of numerous researchers in recent *** article proposes a hybrid fuzzy fusion classification model for cardiac arrhythmia *** fusion model is utilized to optimally select the highest-ranked features generated by a variety of well-known feature-selection *** ensemble of classifiers is then applied to the fusion’s *** proposed model classifies the arrhythmia dataset from the University of California,Irvine into normal/abnormal classes as well as 16 classes of ***,at the preprocessing steps,for the miss-valued attributes,we used the average value in the linear attributes group by the same class and the most frequent value for nominal ***,in order to ensure the model optimality,we eliminated all attributes which have zero or constant values that might bias the results of utilized *** preprocessing step led to 161 out of 279 attributes(features).Thereafter,a fuzzy-based feature-selection fusion method is applied to fuse high-ranked features obtained from different heuristic feature-selection *** short,our study comprises three main blocks:(1)sensing data and preprocessing;(2)feature queuing,selection,and extraction;and(3)the predictive *** proposed method improves classification performance in terms of accuracy,F1measure,recall,and precision when compared to state-of-the-art *** achieves 98.5%accuracy for binary class mode and 98.9%accuracy for categorized class mode.

Speech recognition systems use computer algorithms to interpret and process spoken words and translate them into text. Speech-to-text, or Speech detection, is the proficiency of a program or machine to find spoken words aloud and translate them into plain text. Speech detection systems are the most common complex systems that use wide-ranging research in computer engineering, linguistics, and computer science. In today's significant data era, several machine learning (ML) approaches for processing raw, unlabelled speech data still need to be improved. Deep learning (DL) models, on the other hand, with their powerful modelling ability for extensive data, are capable of directly processing unlabelled data and have become a crucial area of research in the domain of automated speech recognition. The DL model has recently gained popularity for voice disorders and automated speech detection. DL is an ML that exploits artificial neural networks (ANN) to gain meaningful insights from data. The DL approach demonstrated great success and achieved significant attention in different fields comprising speech processing, computer vision (CV), and natural language processing (NLP). Therefore, this article develops a Deep Learning with Natural Language Processing based Robust Speech Detection (DLNLP-RSD) technique. The DLNLP-RSD technique derives features from the mel-frequency cepstral coefficient (MFCC) technique. Followed by the DLNLP-RSD technique employs a one-dimensional deep convolutional neural network (CNN) approach for the detection and classification of speech. Moreover, the parameter tuning model uses the grasshopper fractals optimization algorithm (GOA) approach. The performance evaluation of the proposed technique highlights its significant performance over other models concerning distinct measures. IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi networks are prone to many denial of service(DoS)attacks due to vulnerabilities at the media access control(MAC)layer of the 802.11 *** to the data transmission nature of the wireless local area network(WLAN)through radio waves,its communication is exposed to the possibility of being attacked by illegitimate ***,the security design of the wireless structure is vulnerable to versatile *** example,the attacker can imitate genuine features,rendering classificationbased methods inaccurate in differentiating between real and false *** security standards have been proposed over the last decades to overcome many wireless network attacks,effectively detecting such attacks is crucial in today’s real-world *** paper presents a novel resource exhaustion attack detection scheme(READS)to detect resource exhaustion attacks *** proposed scheme can differentiate between the genuine and fake management frames in the early stages of the attack such that access points can effectively mitigate the consequences of the *** scheme is built through learning from clustered samples using artificial neural networks to identify the genuine and rogue resource exhaustion management frames effectively and efficiently in *** proposed scheme consists of four modules whichmake it capable to alleviates the attack impact more effectively than the related *** experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed technique by gaining an 89.11%improvement compared to the existing works in terms of detection.

The application of deep learning techniques in the medical field,specifically for Atrial Fibrillation(AFib)detection through Electrocardiogram(ECG)signals,has witnessed significant *** and timely diagnosis increases the patient’s chances of ***,issues like overfitting and inconsistent accuracy across datasets remain *** a quest to address these challenges,a study presents two prominent deep learning architectures,ResNet-50 and DenseNet-121,to evaluate their effectiveness in AFib *** aim was to create a robust detection mechanism that consistently performs *** such as loss,accuracy,precision,sensitivity,and Area Under the Curve(AUC)were utilized for *** findings revealed that ResNet-50 surpassed DenseNet-121 in all evaluated *** demonstrated lower loss rate 0.0315 and 0.0305 superior accuracy of 98.77%and 98.88%,precision of 98.78%and 98.89%and sensitivity of 98.76%and 98.86%for training and validation,hinting at its advanced capability for AFib *** insights offer a substantial contribution to the existing literature on deep learning applications for AFib detection from ECG *** comparative performance data assists future researchers in selecting suitable deep-learning architectures for AFib ***,the outcomes of this study are anticipated to stimulate the development of more advanced and efficient ECG-based AFib detection methodologies,for more accurate and early detection of AFib,thereby fostering improved patient care and outcomes.

Segmentation of brain tumors aids in diagnosing the disease early, planning treatment, and monitoring its progression in medical image analysis. Automation is necessary to eliminate the time and variability associated with traditional segmentation methods. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and U-Net architectures have demonstrated their efficiency and effectiveness in segmenting brain tumors from MRI images using deep learning techniques. The paper presents an improved U-Net-based segmentation algorithm that integrates nested skip paths to improve encoder-decoder feature fusion. The performance of segmentation was optimized by utilizing a variety of activation functions and loss functions, including Dice Loss and Intersection over Union (IoU). A high level of accuracy was demonstrated in the proposed model when it was evaluated using the LGG Segmentation Dataset. The proposed approach for segmenting medical images has been shown to be both robust and efficient in a comparative analysis. © 2025 The Authors
