The main object of this paper is to deduce the bibasic Humbert functions Ξ_(1) and Ξ_(2)Some interesting results and elementary summations technique that was successfully employed,q-recursion,q-derivatives relations,the q-differential recursion relations,the q-integral representations for Ξ_(1) and Ξ_(2)are *** summation formula derives a list of p-analogues of transformation formulas for bibasic Humbert functions that have been studied,also some hypergeometric functions properties of some new interesting special cases have been given.

Players exhibit varying behaviour from each other when playing games. Indeed, a player’s own behaviour will change as they learn to play and changing behaviour may also be indicative of when they are prematurely about to quit playing permanently (known as ‘churn’). There can be many reasons for player churn including finding a game too easy, too hard, or just not understanding what they must do. The accurate prediction of player churn is important as it allows a publisher or developer to understand and intervene to improve retention and thus increase revenue. Profiling player behaviours through their actions in-game can facilitate personalization, by adapting gameplay for different types of player to enhance player enjoyment and reduce churn rate. Behavlets are data-features that encode short activity sequences (‘atoms’ of play), which represent an aspect of playing style or player personality traits, e.g. aggressiveness or cautiousness tendencies. Previously we have shown how Behavlets can be used to model variation between players. In this paper, we focus on Behavlet sequences and how process mining and entropy-based analysis can profile evolving behaviour, predict player churn, and adapt play to potentially increase enjoyment. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Hadoop MapReduce has been proven an effective computing model to deal with big data for the last few years. However, one technical challenge facing this framework is how to predict the execution time of an individual job. In this paper, we propose a regression-based method to predict the execution times of Hadoop jobs. The proposed prediction method consists of three phases: learning data sampling, regression analysis and making prediction. Experimental results show that the predicted execution time obtained by our method is close to the actual execution time. © 2015 Taylor & Francis Group, London.

The Vision Transformer (ViT) excels in accuracy when handling high-resolution images, yet it confronts the challenge of significant spatial redundancy, leading to increased computational and memory requirements. To address this, we present the Localization and Focus Vision Transformer (LF-ViT). This model operates by strategically curtailing computational demands without impinging on performance. In the Localization phase, a reduced-resolution image is processed;if a definitive prediction remains elusive, our pioneering Neighborhood Global Class Attention (NGCA) mechanism is triggered, effectively identifying and spotlighting class-discriminative regions based on initial findings. Subsequently, in the Focus phase, this designated region is used from the original image to enhance recognition. Uniquely, LF-ViT employs consistent parameters across both phases, ensuring seamless end-to-end optimization. Our empirical tests affirm LF-ViT's prowess: it remarkably decreases Deit-S's FLOPs by 63% and concurrently amplifies throughput twofold. Code of this project is at https://***/edgeai1/***. Multi-objective optimization of unbalanced power distribution systems: A comprehensive approach to address uncertainties and enhance performance

This study presents an advanced multi-objective optimization framework to enhance the performance of unbalanced power distribution systems. It highlights the significance of three-phase load flow analysis and addresses key problems such as voltage fluctuations, power losses, cost inefficiency, and uncertainty related to renewable energy integration. A holistic strategy integrating demand response (DR), energy storage, and distributed generation is employed. Using a customized Genetic Algorithm (GA), the model optimizes the capacity, location, and phase placement of energy sources, including solar, wind, biomass, diesel, and utility power. It also incorporates probabilistic scenario generation to manage uncertainties in load and renewable resources. Simulation results on the IEEE 13-bus system demonstrate substantial improvements: 91 % reduction in power losses (from 9924 kW to 780 kW), 11 % reduction in load profiles, 60 % decrease in utility usage, and 84 % reduction in overall network cost. These findings confirm the effectiveness of the proposed framework in enhancing energy efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in modern unbalanced distribution networks.

Tissues are composed of cells with a wide range of similarities to each other, yet existing methods for single-cell genomics treat cell types as discrete labels. To address this gap, we developed CellWalker2, a graph diffusion-based model for the annotation and mapping of multi-modal data. With our open-source software package, hierarchically related cell types can be probabilistically matched across contexts and used to annotate cells, genomic regions, or gene sets. Additional features include estimating statistical significance and enabling gene expression and chromatin accessibility to be jointly modeled. Through simulation studies, we show that CellWalker2 performs better than existing methods in cell-type annotation and mapping. We then use multi-omics data from the brain and immune system to demonstrate CellWalker2’s ability to assign high-resolution cell-type labels to regulatory elements and TFs and to quantify both conserved and divergent cell-type relationships between species.

Quantum information processing is more complex than classical counterpart because of the No-Cloning theorem, decoherence, and issues detecting quantum states. Building a quantum computer without error detection and correction module is challenging. To overcome this challenge, qubit error correction codes are implemented. Inadequate error detection and correction codes have been the downfall of earlier attempts to encode quantum information, leading to disrupted qubit transmission. Qubit information is decohered by circuit noise. Unfortunately, the principal qubit error, phase flip error is not corrected by existing qubit error correction methods. In this study, we proposed Quantum Error Detection and Correction scheme (QEDC) to keep qubit in a coherent state. Used S gates, unitary gates, 10 CNOT gates, and Hadamard gates spanning on 4 physical and 1 logical qubits over the IBM Quantum Experience Machine. We found that the error probability is reduced to 7.91% owing to the efficiency of the quantum information encoding and phase flip control. Furthermore, we proposed Error Corrected Quantum Convolution Neural Network (EQCNN) for Image Classification. EQCNN combat and correct qubit errors that occur during the image processing. EQCNN outperformed over Earth Observatory (EO) dataset, EuroSAT and achieved an impressive results of 99.3% accuracy, 98.9% F1-score, 96.73% precision, and 98.4% recall. © 2024 IEEE.
