In this article we discuss relations between the so-called complex networks and dynamics of evolutionary algorithms. The main aim of this article is to investigate whether it is possible to model (or vizualize) evolutionary dynamics as complex networks, whose connections will represent interactions amongst the individuals during all generations. Our simulations are based on selected evolutionary algorithms (2 algorithms in 6 versions) and test functions (4 out of 17). Data obtained through the simulations were processed graphically as well as statistically.

In this paper we propose extension of PostGIS Spatial Database Management system by imprecise point object type. Position imprecision is modelled as fuzzy point in R 2 linear fuzzy space. The linear fuzzy space is defined over R 2 where the membership function is convex, upper semi continuous, symmetric w.r.t core, linearly decreasing w.r.t core distance, and core is single point. There is a large amount of inconsistency in gene structure annotations of bacterial strains. This inconsistency is a frustrating impedance to effective comparative genomic analysis of bacterial strains in promising applications such as gaining insights into bacterial drug resistance. Here, we propose CAMBer as an approach to support comparative analysis of multiple bacterial strains. CAMBer produces what we called multigene families. Each multigene family reveals genes that are in one-to-one correspondence in the bacterial strains, thereby permitting their annotations to be integrated. As a result, more accurate and more comprehensive annotations of the bacterial strains can be produced.

The use of one-shot pattern projection to obtain 3D dense reconstruction constitutes a promising field of research in structured light. Most of the related works presented in the literature are based on the projection of a fringe pattern to extract depth from phase deviation. However, the algorithms employed to unwrap the phase are computationally slow and can fail under certain slopes and occlusions in the object shape. In these lines, a color one-shot dense reconstruction using fringe pattern projection and wavelet decomposition is presented. Moreover, a novel phase unwrapping algorithm is proposed, providing a fast and reliable absolute phase map for depth reconstruction.
