The possibility of constructing a PID-like control system with a distributed delay for electrodynamic stabilization of the programmed attitude motion of the satellite, in which the axis of dynamic symmetry of the satellite is stabilized along the local vertical, and the satellite itself performs a slow rotation around this axis under the disturbing influence of gravitational torque, has been proved. © 2022 IEEE.

A discrete-time multiagent system on a line is studied. The case is considered where each agent receives information from some of its neighbors, and there are switching of network topology and communication delays. It is assumed that a segment of the line is given. It is necessary to provide a prescribed nonuniform agent distribution on the segment. A decentralized control protocol is designed. Using the Lyapunov direct method, it is proved that, under this protocol, agents converge to the desired positions for any constant delay and any admissible switching of the network topology.

Wireless mobile technology has advanced to a stage where data rates have significantly increased, and the capacity for device connectivity is poised for exponential growth. Achieving high data rate transmission in complex communication systems has become a critical task. Traditional iterative methods face challenges due to their high computational complexity and time-consuming processes. At present, graph neural networks (GNNs) have shown great potential in optimizing network resource allocation problems. GNNs exhibit strong learning capabilities in handling graph-structured data and effectively utilizing the topology of communication networks. However, current approaches primarily focus on node features, often neglecting the valuable information contained in edge features. To break this limitation, we propose an architecture called the Edge Feature Empowered Jumping Knowledge Graph Attention Network (EJGAT). This model employs hierarchical attention mechanism and jumping knowledge connection to enhance learning capability and mitigate the over-smoothing problem. Simulation experiments illustrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms benchmarks on both average sum rate and learning efficiency. Comprehensive experimental validation further highlights the algorithm's potential applicability to various system parameters and its robustness to corrupted input features. © 2024, The Authors. Effective configuration of Time-Sensitive Networks is crucial for providing timeliness and reliability guarantees for real-time industrial applications, where many inter-dependent streams may co-exist. However, existing methods for specifying the characteristics of real-time streams to the Centralized Network Configuration element (CNC) do not allow the specification of stream dependencies. Consequently, the CNC may schedule the real-time streams in a sub-optimal way, leading to low number of real-time applications supported. To address this pressing issue, we present methods that allow to model and express such inter-stream dependencies and propose extensions to the user network interface (UNI) to convey these dependencies to the CNC, transforming it into an intent-based UNI. We define a novel metric to evaluate a specific network configuration regarding the latency budget available for scheduling the transmission of a stream. Using a set of numerical simulations, we show that when exploiting the knowledge of inter-stream dependencies, we can derive better network schedules, which results in significant increase in applications onboarding up to 2.2x and increased network utilization for real-time streams up to 3x. © 2025 IEEE.

With the popularity of smart devices, application responsiveness is one of the most important indicators of user experience, and forecast the next application will be used by users is crucial to the management planning for related companies. In this paper, more sophisticated machine learning, and even deep learning, which can achieve better forecast performance, is widely used in this field. However, the opacity of these black-box models greatly limits user trust and how well developers can optimize the model. To address these issues, this paper first tests six of the most popular forecasting algorithms, including ensemble models and neural networks, to select the optimal model. As an innovation, this paper also uses XAI techniques to explain black-box models to increase user trust in the results generated by forecast models and to help developers in their work. After completing the above work, on the one hand, we found that the ensemble model performed better in the time series datasets with user application usage information, especially with LightGBM, on the other hand, we found that the prediction model using the SHAP method showed that the target variable categorical features and lags Features are important features to forecast the user's next application. © 2022 IEEE.

Most of the processes that need to be controlled are affected by external disturbances. In many cases, the disturbances can be measured. A control method that can successfully cope with disturbances which are known in advance is predictive control. The disturbances known in advance can be incorporated into calculation of the manipulated variable in predictive control. In many control applications, the disturbances are measurable but unknown in advance. In this case, the future course of the disturbance must be estimated on the basis of its past values. This paper proposes different approaches to estimation of future course of the measurable disturbances in predictive control. Particular approaches were compared by simulation. © 2022 IEEE.

In this paper we examine the well-posedness of evolutionary variational-hemivariational inequalities involving a constraint set and history-dependent operators. The strong and weak formulations of such inequalities are studied. First, the existence and uniqueness of solutions to both formulations are proved, and results on the dependence of solution on functional parameters are delivered. Next, the well-posedness is established for a general form of history-dependent variational-hemivariational inequalities with constraints by using a fixed point theorem. Finally, the results are applied to a dynamic frictional contact problem in viscoelasticity in which the contact is described by Signorini-type unilateral boundary condition with a nonmonotone Clarke’s relation. © The Author(s) 2024.

A technology is proposed for estimating the probability that the share price will leave the established corridor by a given point in time. The exact expression is obtained for the required probability under the assumption that the behavior of the share price is described by the well-known model of Samuelson, according to which the relative change in price is the sum of the non-random trend and the Wiener process.

Magnetic nanoparticles can be embedded in electrospun nanofibers and other polymeric matrices to prepare magnetic composites with defined magnetic and mechanical properties. Metal-oxide nanoparticles, such as magnetite or nickel-ferrite, are of special interest since they do not need a coating to avoid oxidation. Like other nanoparticles, these metal-oxide nanoparticles tend to form agglomerations, in this way modifying the magnetic properties of the composites. After studying this effect for the magnetic elements Co, Fe, Ni as well as permalloy (Py) in a previous study, defining a new method to quantify the nanoparticle distribution in a polymer, here we concentrate on the influence of agglomerations on the magnetic properties of metal-oxide nanoparticles with different diameters in non-magnetic matrices. © 2022
