In the paper a new grid (potentially linear, nonlinear and even semi-Markovian jump system) was presented. All transition and measurement functions were proposed. Moreover, the transition functions of two types were considered - dependent on one and many different state variables. Also 10 types of measurements were proposed for both nodal and branch cases. Based on the obtained results one can see, which measurement functions are "easy", and which are "hard" for state estimation task.

The objective of the project is to carry out the dimensioning of a photovoltaic system that allows its integration with a condensation system for the production of fresh water in isolated areas (Rural), in such a way that a sustainable condensation application capable of producing water is generated. sweet to supply small groups of inhabitants in areas where the basic supply of liquid is deficient. The study area is the Department of Santander, Colombia, specifically in the Municipality of los Santos and the area known as Mesa de los Santos, in which difficult geographical conditions are presented such as: altitude of 1650 meters above sea level and deficiency in aquifers. The methodological development proposes the analysis of the meteorological conditions of the area, the identification, selection and dimensioning of the condensing system and the photovoltaic system through the amp-hour method and the software system advisor model (SAM). Additionally, a CAD model is developed to obtain the complete schematization of the model and carry out a simulation process to analyze the behavior of the integration of the aforementioned systems. Finally, a techno-economic analysis of the proposed system is carried out.

The objective of the development of the prototype or scale model of production of hydrogen and oxygen through the electrolysis process of water is to generate an alternative with a sustainable approach, which proposes the supply or source of energy initially with a direct current power source. replaceable in the future by a photovoltaic solar system. For the development of the prototype, it began with the academic compilation of information, then the model was made in CAD, followed by the need to integrate an electronic control system and a mechanical system to obtain the final model, materials were selected and used premises for the development of the two systems, the electronic and physical schematization was carried out, chaired by the assembly and field experimentation. It is important to highlight that the constructed scale model generates hydrogen and oxygen with a low current consumption and a constant voltage, the maximum point of gas generation is the maximum point of energy consumption and its relationship is almost linear.

We address efficient modeling of the intracellular action of a drug binding to the nuclear pregnane X receptor. The binded complex enters the cell nucleus and acts on DNA, resulting in enhanced production of an enzyme which metabolizes, among others, co-administered drugs. Pharmacodynamic modeling is traditionally based on a compartmental approach, which simplifies the complex processes in the human body through the definition of a small number of compartments representing organs, tissues, cells, cytoplasm or abstract units. Inside a compartment, the concentrations of all substances are assumed to be distributed homogeneously, i.e. there is no spatial dependence. They lead to a system of ODEs for the time-dependence of the concentrations of the active substances. We will present an extension of a model from the literature for the action of the tuberculose-drug Rifampicin. The extension consists of a first attempt to add spatial resolution for substances that are active in the cytoplasm. Spatial resolution can be benecifial to analyze important issues like, among others, local exceeding of toxic drug levels, delay of transport and drug-drug interactions. We address efficient solution of the linear systems arising when numerically integrating the resulting PDE's and consider some preconditioning techniques based on properties of the underlying biochemical network.

Over the last decade, the railway industry has a great evolution about signaling system and there is more orientation from the standard railway signaling system to the communicationbased signaling system day to day. Communications-based train control (CBTC) is a very flexible and useful approach to check train activity and track operation. This system basically build upon radio communication to transfer in time and correct train control information. In this paper, we focus on model the all necessary CBTC elements with finite state automata and build CBTC control architecture with decentralized DES and support the existing control architecture with a three-level hierarchy. For the overall system, we show hierarchical consistency and that the closed-loop behavior is non-blocking. This paper gives an overview of the modelling a discrete event system about CBTC and gives control of CBTC.

In this paper we will implement new hardware control for 7 DOFs (Degrees of freedom) advanced robotic arm research platform (NeuroArm) equipped with various sensors. New hardware platform consists of Nano Pi platform which is used as a PC platform for standard PLC (programmable logic controller's) unit and will replace old system that consists of 7 16-bit ATmega processors. The goal of new PLC which is based on Linux operating system (Debian distribution) that is patched by Xenomai real time system for reducing control response time and better entire system control. Robotic arm is powered by 7 DC motors which are controlled by two PWM4 (Pulse Width Modulation) modules. Position data is acquired from 1kΩ resistive sensors using RI8 (Resistive module) module and from optical quadrature encoders using one DI16 (Digital Input) module. Also other modules PWM4, RI8 and DI16 communicate with PikoAtlas CPU module by I2C bus. © 2018 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

This paper develops an adaptive filter for fusing the noisy and biased measurement data from MEMS-based inertial measurement units and encoders for estimation of acceleration in robot arms. A discrete-time second-order model is derived for designing an adaptive Kalman filter (AKF). The output of the AKF is an unbiased but noisy estimate of the acceleration. To cancel the noise, a recursive least square filter is designed to filter the output of the designed AKF. It is shown that the resulting filtered signal is unbiased and noise-cancelled. Experimental results demonstrating the effectiveness of the developed adaptive filter are presented. © 2018 IEEE.

In this paper,we presented the derivation of an adaptive algorithm for time-varying system and verified that it satisfied convergence *** on the concept of distance in parameter space,we proposed a robust identification method which identified the smallest set of discrete transfer functions under the assumption that its parameters were time-varying and described derivation of an adaptive law based on verification and update algorithm of the identified model *** also described that the proposed algorithm satisfied the convergence properties through numerical simulation.

Accurate monitoring of nutrient supply is crucial for effective plant nutrition management. This study introduces a bioimpedance spectroscopy (BIS) approach to evaluate how lettuce genotypes respond to nitrogen (N) supply, illuminating the link between BIS and N metabolism. The research consisted of two parts: a preliminary experiment focusing on extracellular fluid resistance, followed by a second experiment involving five different N treatments applied to two lettuce genotypes. BIS spectra were recorded from 1 Hz to 100 kHz, with a total of 224 measurements. Plant physiological analyses assessed total and extracellular fluid nitrate (NO 3 − ) concentrations, pigment concentration, total N content, and cell membrane stability index. In the preliminary experiment, a significant negative correlation was observed between extracellular fluid NO 3 − concentration and extracellular fluid resistance (r = – 0.67). Furthermore, the frequency range around 63 Hz (R 2 = 0.97) appeared most sensitive to NO 3 − dynamics in the ‘Kobak’ lettuce genotype. In the two lettuce genotypes exposed to the five different N treatments, extracellular fluid resistance negatively correlated with total N and NO 3 − content ( r = – 0.76 and – 0.73), while vacuole fluid resistance showed a moderate correlation ( r = – 0.51). Cell membrane capacitance was also significantly correlated with membrane stability index ( r = 0.68), indicating that low-N conditions reduce membrane charge storage. However, these correlations appeared highly genotype dependent. Heatmap-based hierarchical clustering of Z-score standardized BIS parameters further confirmed these genotype-specific patterns. Collectively, these findings suggest that BIS captures key aspects of N uptake and storage, particularly in the extracellular fluid compartment. Overall, BIS offers a robust, non-destructive method for monitoring N status and may enhance precision in nutrient management for lettuce and other crops, although the genotype-s
