Internet of Things(IoT) devices are becoming increasingly ubiquitous, and their adoption is growing at an exponential rate. However, they are vulnerable to security breaches, and traditional security mechanisms are not enough to protect them. The massive amounts of data generated by IoT devices can be easily manipulated or stolen, posing significant privacy concerns. This paper is to provide a comprehensive overview of the integration of blockchain and IoT technologies and their potential to enhance the security and privacy of IoT systems. The paper examines various security issues and vulnerabilities in IoT and explores how blockchain-based solutions can be used to address them. It provides insights into the various security issues and vulnerabilities in IoT and explores how blockchain can be used to enhance security and privacy. The paper also discusses the potential applications of blockchain-based IoT(B-IoT) systems in various sectors, such as healthcare, transportation, and supply chain management. The paper reveals that the integration of blockchain and IoT has the potential to enhance the security,privacy, and trustworthiness of IoT systems. The multi-layered architecture of B-IoT, consisting of perception, network, data processing, and application layers, provides a comprehensive framework for the integration of blockchain and IoT *** study identifies various security solutions for B-IoT, including smart contracts, decentralized control, immutable data storage,identity and access management(IAM), and consensus mechanisms. Dynamic spectrum allocation can extensively improve the ability of high-speed fiber optic communications, permitting Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and different deployments to be optimized for max performance. This approach makes use of a decentralized approach to allocate spectrum resources on demand, taking into account scalability and efficient aid usage. With the aid of the use of a restrained set of hardware and software, dynamic spectrum allocation can quick and correctly update the communications community to meet changing demands. This generation takes gain of the increasingly more sophisticated optical additives available these days to alter the spectrum in real time rather than relying on static allocation algorithms. Mobile and Web-of-Things (WoT) devices at the network edge account for more than half of the world's web traffic, making a great data source for various machine learning (ML) applications, particularly federated learning (FL) which offers a promising solution to privacy-preserving ML feeding on these data. FL allows edge mobile and WoT devices to train a shared global ML model under the orchestration of a central parameter server. In the real world, due to resource heterogeneity, these edge devices often train different versions of models (e.g., VGG-16 and VGG-19) or different ML models (e.g., VGG and ResNet) for the same ML task (e.g., computer vision and speech recognition). Existing FL schemes have assumed that participating edge devices share a common model architecture, and thus cannot facilitate FL across edge devices with heterogeneous ML model architectures. We explored this architecture heterogeneity challenge and found that FL can and should accommodate these edge devices to improve model accuracy and accelerate model training. This paper presents our findings and FlexiFed, a novel scheme for FL across edge devices with heterogeneous model architectures, and three model aggregation strategies for accommodating architecture heterogeneity under FlexiFed. Experiments with four widely-used ML models on four public datasets demonstrate 1) the usefulness of FlexiFed;and 2) that compared with the state-of-the-art FL scheme, FlexiFed improves model accuracy by 2.6%-9.7% and accelerates model convergence by 1.24 × -4.04 ×. © 2023 ACM.

Images are widely used in social networks, necessitating efficient and secure transmission, especially in bandwidth-constrained environments. This article aims to develop a color image encryption algorithm that enhances security while optimizing computational efficiency. A novel parallel color image encryption algorithm based on the 2-D logistic-Rulkov neuron map (2D-LRNM) is proposed. In this approach, the three channels of the color image are first separated. Cross-channel information interaction is introduced to form three new channels, which are then processed in parallel. During the encryption process of each channel, a block-wise parallel encryption mechanism is applied, ensuring simultaneous encryption of each block. This block-wise strategy effectively leverages parallel computing resources and balances the task load. To meet the demand for a large number of keystreams during encryption, the 2D-LRNM is introduced. It combines the simplicity and chaotic properties of the Logistic map with the multitimescale dynamics and neurodynamic behaviors of the Rulkov map. By overcoming the dimensional limitations inherent in the single Logistic map, this approach extends the system to a 2-D framework, significantly increasing the complexity of chaotic behavior and improving its unpredictability. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed encryption algorithm achieves high security and reduces computation time by approximately 83.3%. © 2014 IEEE.

Community detection in social relationship networks is a significant research domain within the field of social network analysis. However, Twitter sets itself apart from conventional friends’ and followers’ networks due to its users’ distinct focus on sharing thoughts and ideas related to specific topics rather than prioritising personal connections. As a result, relying solely on friends’ and followers’ relations in Twitter networks for community detection would be insufficient and incomplete. In this paper, we proposed a Twitter community detection method that measures similarity using user profiles, tweet subjects, and tweet sentiment in this research. We constructed a similarity network using real-time Twitter API data and compared it to Zachary's Karate Network. The proposed approach enhances the quality function of modularity and conductance in the Louvain community detection algorithm, resulting in a more precise and meaningful community structure within the Twitter network.

The rapid development and usage of digital technologies in modern intelligent systems and applications bring critical challenges on data security and privacy. It is essential to allow cross-organizational data sharing to achieve smart service provisioning, while preventing unauthorized access and data leak to ensure end users' efficient and secure collaborations. Federated Learning (FL) offers a promising pathway to enable innovative collaboration across multiple organizations. However, more stringent security policies are needed to ensure authenticity of participating entities, safeguard data during communication, and prevent malicious activities. In this paper, we propose a Decentralized Federated Graph Learning (FGL) with Lightweight Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) model, named DFGL-LZTA, to provide context-aware security with dynamic defense policy update, while maintaining computational and communication efficiency in resource-constrained environments, for highly distributed and heterogeneous systems in next-generation networking. Specifically, with a re-designed lightweight ZTA, which leverages adaptive privacy preservation and reputation-based aggregation together to tackle multi-level security threats (e.g., data-level, model-level, and identity-level attacks), a Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) based Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) agent is introduced to enable the real-time and adaptive security policy update and optimization based on contextual features. A hierarchical Graph Attention Network (GAT) mechanism is then improved and applied to facilitate the dynamic subgraph learning in local training with a layer-wise architecture, while a so-called sparse global aggregation scheme is developed to balance the communication efficiency and model robustness in a P2P manner. In this research paper, an enhanced hotel quality scoring method (EHQSM), is presented as a revolutionary way to analyze hotel quality. The EHQSM combines sentiment analysis, HOLSERV Plus dimensions classification, and amenity scores to deliver a more thorough review. The study generates an overall sentiment score by doing sentiment analysis on reviews categorized into HOLSERV Plus dimensions then thoughtfully averaging it using dimensionspecific weights collected from a survey. The availability of necessary amenities is considered when calculating the amenity score. The novel feature of this approach is how the amenity score, and sentiment score are carefully combined and efficiently weighted using values from the survey. The result is an improved quality score that accurately and thoroughly describes the quality of hotel services. With the goal of facilitating informed decisions for both hotel owners and attentive tourists, this technique establishes an updated standard for the evaluation of hospitality quality.

Stock investment is an interesting option that has attracted the attention of investors. This research presents Thailand Stock Index Forecasting, a case study of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) applying Recurrent Neural Networks with Long Short-Term Memory (RNN-LTSM). The research used multiple data sources 15 years of SET Market data from 2006 to 2020 for stock forecasting divided into Training Set 80% and Test Set 20%. Mean Square Error (MSE) was used for the evaluation model. The results showed that RNN-LTSM Approach optimized the model's performance based on 5 stock asset companies used in this research. Therefore, the proposed model can be used to develop related forecasting or recommendation systems in the future to help investors consider the risks of investment and support investment decisions. © 2022 IEEE.
