Despite widespread adoption and outstanding performance, machine learning models are considered as ‘‘blackboxes’’, since it is very difficult to understand how such models operate in practice. Therefore, in the powersystems field, which requires a high level of accountability, it is hard for experts to trust and justify decisionsand recommendations made by these models. Meanwhile, in the last couple of years, Explainable ArtificialIntelligence (XAI) techniques have been developed to improve the explainability of machine learning models,such that their output can be better understood. In this light, it is the purpose of this paper to highlight thepotential of using XAI for power system applications. We first present the common challenges of using XAI insuch applications and then review and analyze the recent works on this topic, and the on-going trends in theresearch community. We hope that this paper will trigger fruitful discussions and encourage further researchon this important emerging topic.

Each organization or company,regardless to its restrictions,purposes,and type of the activity,in order to fulfill and manage the duties is in need of various data and pieces of *** manifest issue of current days is that organizations and companies which are struggling in such an unpredictable situation has to do the vast activities and they are in urgent need of gathering,processing,concluding of the extended area of data in different scopes and RFID technology is one of the pioneer high tech in this *** frequency identification is a powerful emerging technology that enables companies to achieve total business *** knowing the identity,location and conditions of assets,tools,inventory,people and more,companies can optimize business processes and reduce operational *** addition,in healthcare organizations with importance of services and their relation with human life, information assurance and quality promotion has increasingly caught the *** study aims to appear the prioritizing of RFID factors in healthcare organization using a multi attribute decision making *** study results provide useful insights and guidance for managers to measure and improve RFID systems toward improving data & information gathering. Study results show that there is a significant negative gap between perceptions and expectations of physicians and nurses in Yazd public and private hospitals in this *** addition TOPSIS results show that the main indicators in Iranian context for RFID technology is(Low failure risk to using RFID technology).

Although Content Delivery Networks (CDN) do their best to quickly deliver the contents, Internet Service Providers (ISP) and network conditions cause unexpected changes on the routing paths. Hence, it gets difficult for CDNs to adhere to the delay promises within the Service Level Agreements. This paper presents a jitter-free overlay routing framework for CDNs, which struggle to adapt timely content delivery to end users due to the dynamicity of the Internet. The Nearest Origin-Shield (NOS) framework which we propose in this paper overcomes this issue by creating an overlay network on top of the existing physical ISP networks and dynamically determining the fastest routes to the content sources (Origins) on this overlay network. NOS keeps track of changes in underlay network through periodically measuring the end-to-end routing paths delays via Helper Modules. Based on the underlay network delay measures and the load (i.e., CPU, disk I/O and network usage) of the overlay network entities, NOS Central Module determines the fastest routes to the Origins using our novel Delay-Aware and Jitter-Free Overlay Routing Algorithm. Hence making it possible for CDNs to provide jitter-free and timely content deliveries meanwhile ensuring the cache servers not to be overloaded. We created a new testbed for performance evaluations with real CDN servers, Origin accounts and measurements. Results show that, NOS provides shorter, more stable and jitter-free routing paths with jitter gains up to 98 % and improves the Hit ratio by 0.74%.

In this study, a fuzzy tuned SMC based architecture is designed for the control of PLL based frequency synthesizers. The proposed approach, offering a continuous tuning of chattering property, is demonstrated to be more effective over classical, intelligent and traditional sliding mode control methods for the fast locking and low phase noise requirements of PLL based frequency synthesizers in frequency hopping spread spectrum communication and radar applications. The obtained simulation results are compared with those of a PID, a Fuzzy Gain Scheduled Control, a SMC, and traditional FS controller design and it has been concluded that the settling time and the phase noise of the frequency synthesizer can be optimized using the developed fuzzy tuned SMC based PLL.

In the last two decades,motor operation monitoring tools have become a necessity,and many studies focus on the detection and diagnosis of motor electrical ***,at present,a core obstacle that prevents the direct comparison of such classification techniques is the lack of a standard database that can be used as a *** view of this,we offer here a public experimental data-set that has beendesigned specifically for the comparison of synchronous motor electrical fault *** data-set comprises five types of motor electrical faults:open phase between inverter and motor;short circuit/leakage current between two phases;short circuit/leakage current in phase-to-neutral;rotor excitation voltage disconnection;and variation of rotor excitation *** addition,each fault has been recorded as a four-dimensional signal:three phase voltages;three phase currents;motor speed;and motor *** package includes two deep-learning reference classifiers that are based on a convolutional neural network(CNN)and long short term memory(LSTM).Due to the good performance of these classifiers,we suggest that they can be used by the community as benchmarks for the development of new and better motor electrical fault classification *** database and the reference classifiers are examined and insights regarding different combinations of features and lengths of recording points are *** developed code is available online,and is free to use.

Recently, many companies in Iran use telemarketing to introduce their products. These companies need to detect their best target to following them over seasons and years for more sales. This paper introduces a simple and appropriate method to predict behavior of customers based on behavior of prior customers. First of all, a dataset of customer action should be made and then preprocessed to reduce its attribute and dimension. Then a neural network will be made based on selected features to predict sale behavior of customers. Finally an evolutionary algorithm like genetic can be used to find feature of customers who will buy products more. This method evaluated by Portuguese Bank Tele Marketing dataset. Results show it simply can find the best customers in this case study. It's highly recommended to companies use this method to reduce their marketing costs and have better performance.

We consider random hyperbolic graphs in hyperbolic spaces of any dimension d+1 ≥ 2. We present a rescaling of model parameters that casts the random hyperbolic graph model of any dimension to a unified mathematical framework, leaving the degree distribution invariant with respect to the dimension. Unlike the degree distribution, clustering does depend on the dimension, decreasing to 0 at d → ∞. We analyze all of the other limiting regimes of the model, and we release a software package that generates random hyperbolic graphs and their limits in hyperbolic spaces of any dimension. Discrete-Modulated (DM) Continuous-Variable Quantum Key Distribution (CV-QKD) protocols are promising candidates for commercial implementations of quantum communication networks due to their experimental simplicity. While tight security analyses in the asymptotic limit exist, proofs in the finite-size regime are still subject to active research. We present a composable finite-size security proof against independently and identically distributed collective attacks for a general DM CV-QKD protocol. We introduce a new energy testing theorem to bound the effective dimension of Bob's system and rigorously prove security within Renner's ϵ-security framework and address the issue of acceptance sets in protocols and their security proof. We want to highlight, that our method also allows for nonunique acceptance statistics, which is necessary in practise. Finally, we extend and apply a numerical security proof technique to calculate tight lower bounds on the secure key rate. To demonstrate our method, we apply it to a quadrature phase-shift keying protocol, both for untrusted, ideal and trusted nonideal detectors. The results show that our security proof method yields secure finite-size key rates under experimentally viable conditions up to at least 72 km transmission distance. Copyright © 2023, The Authors.
